Benjamin Business Hotel

Herzliya|3.05km from city center
We've been there for a week end of May. This is a good place if you need to be around the area or you like go to the beach in Herzliya. It is a very busy area during working days and working hours. It is a high-tech center (Apple is there) and there are thousands of people and cars coming to work there. Good luck if you need to drive in in the morning or out at the end of the work day; you'll need some patience. Hotel is nice, well kept in general, but there are some issues too, as we will see. Room: our room was presented as ocean view; you can see the sea far away between the buildings in front, but that's ok; room was not very big but clean; TV was working ok; there is a small fridge, a kettle, cups, glasses, spoons, coffee and tea. They did room service every day and it was ok. There are LED ceiling spotlights but half of them were burned out in both the room and the bathroom. The A/C is quiet, works well and it's easy to control. The shower had a hand shower and a ceiling shower which was not working and the ceiling of the shower was peeling off as after a flood. Also, there was something weird with the shower: the hot water is fluctuating; it was changing from warm to very hot and back so you had to be ready to jump away not to get scalded. Breakfast: this is a very poor version of the famous Israeli breakfast. Some cut cucumbers, some tomatoes, some very unappealing cooked stuff; bread had no tool to pick-up and everybody is touching with their hands (there was guy that tried all the slices before he picked one - we were lucky to have eaten before). There are some unidentified unappealing soft cheeses in bowls, some feta cheese and a coffee machine that is running out of milk sometimes. Lobby: this is a nice place with lots of chairs, tables and places to sit to have a chat. There is coffee, milk and tea and cookies and dry fruits and even a big plate with a cake. Parking: they have a nice underground parking, clean and it even has background music, but there is something strange happening there: in the evenings and on weekends the parking is half full and most of the cars are rentals (as it should be in a hotel catering to tourists and people on business), but on work days, during the day, the parking is suddenly packed and all the cars are privately owned and not so clean either. So it looks like they are renting parking space during working hours to the people working in the area. And then, if you need to park during the day, they will tell you the parking is full and you cannot use it, as it happened to me once. So it means, that you, as paying customer have no parking even if it was promised to you when you booked your room (parking included), because they are double selling it to other people to make more money. And this is not right.

Herods Herzliya

My husband and i booked 1 night at the herods herzelya. We arrived at the hotel around 11:30 am and the room was ready and we got an upgraded room with a view on the pool and marina ,so nice from them🙏🏼 .Check in was fast bc i already did everything on the application. Room was big ,clean, and very welcoming.view was so beautiful and relaxing (a must ) The hotel is boutique so not too much people at the pool, bed for everyone which is great. Breakfast is tasty and fresh with variety of food. It will be better if you add the percentage of fat on every cheese. Location is perfect ,on the marina 10 min walk from store and restaurant The few thing they need to improve: Closing pool at 5pm is a bit early, people are waiting the sun down to swim. Pool bar was closed so i had to go upstairs to buy food and drinks. On the hot day ice and water will be great at the pool for customers. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Herods and recommand it without a doubt

It begins with the parking area which is underneath the hotel. There were no signs that we could see where the entrance to the hotel or the elevators to the hotel were located.. We spent about 10 minutes wondering the parking Garage with three other families looking for some sort of sign where to enter. At the front desk they claimed that my room was DELUXE”. What a joke. I paid almost 300 dollars for a tiny room and bathroom with a view to a decrepit parking area and a dilapidated building. When we got there the cleaning crew were still working and the noise they made was as if there was a football game going on...screaming and yelling.. The coffee machine didn't work. There were no glasses in the bathroom or spoons for making coffee... What angers me the most was the high cost they are asking for a room such as this.. Chutzpah!!

Room: Bright (in particular north facing) airy and very comfortable, daily service good. Balcony useful. Bathroom and shower good. All staff friendly and helpful. always happy to assist with large & small requests. Definitely the main reason we will return!! Lounge seating area could have more individual comfortable chairs Parking in basement a must-excellent and clean Pool area well located. Would be great to have much better dining-snack-light meal facility at pool! Access to beach - excellent WIFI in room is really poor-needs to be improved 100% Will definitely be our new base when visiting Israel - well done to all the personal!!

I have just spent three weeks at this beautifully located beachfront hotel in Israel with my family. We have received five star service. Even though the hotel has been full, the operation is so efficient and seamless. The staff work so hard to ensure that every guests needs are met. I would like to especially recognise a few people who have helped us. Maggie and Idit in banqueting treated us like special guests. Idit even provided a bag of gluten free cookies for our daughter . The breakfast operation is outstanding. Ehsan commands the room but is so friendly and understanding of all the guests. All of the staff work hard to keep it running beautifully. Meital, Shoshi and Moshe oversaw our trip and bent over backwards to meet our needs. We would definitely come back.
The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya

Firstly just want to say this is unsolicited feedback :) We stayed for one night at the Ritz Carlton through a generous donation of a night of board from an anonymous donor for oncology patients. The hotel provided breakfast free of charge from their side. Having lived in Israel for many years and stayed at plenty of hotels over the years, and having stayed at many 5* establishments in Europe and the US, I have to say the service provided at the Ritz Carlton Herzlia is world class. The staff were attentive to every need, polite and friendly. The facilities are also top notch and the breakfast was simply scrumptious. Service in the restaurant was also fantastic. The hotel is located within the Herzlia Marina area where are also a range of restaurants and a shopping mall. Parking was provided free of charge as part of the accommodation. If you're looking to be spoilt and experience real 5* treatment in Israel, you should seriously consider the Ritz Carlton in Herzlia. Checkout was at 12pm which is later than most hotels in Israel (usually between 10 and 11am). We had a really relaxing time.
