It was the amazing place i have visited. Had a great welcome from front line staff. Room is perfect and had a great view. Dinner and breakfast was amazing and very tasty. Breakfast bufet had a wide selection of western and local food. I requested to arrange a birthday cake at the breakfast time and they were arranged a tasty cake with special birthday surprise. Overall can be give 10 out of 10.

We had a very nice stay at the Riff. I arrived early so the staff kindly helped me use thr library which was very comfortable until the room could be allotted. The food is the best. The chef is amazing and we enjoyed Srilankan and International cuisine. The juices so fresh and we just couldn't get enough of the food. It is so good that we never wanted to eat outside even though the hotel is conveniently located near so many bars and restaurants. The desserts are not only visually appealing but super tasty. We used the SPA, this needs improvement definitely but I am sure they can in due course. On the rooms, good size and amazing views of the Indian Ocean and the beach is lovely. The staff is lovely like all people in Srilanka. However, the bathroom door is all glass opens towards the bedroom, generally in hotels bathroom doors entry is through the foyer area. There is a blind that you have to keep rolling up and down incase u need to get in and out of the bathroom. Very inconvenient. If there is scope, they should work on improving this as this causes a lot of inconvenience while sharing the room and at night could be disturbing with rolling up and down of the blinds to get in and out of the bathroom.

This may not be a five-star hotel, but the staff here make you feel like you're in one. The hotel owner and his wife treat guests like family, showing genuine care and hospitality. I'm genuinely pleased with my choice, as I appreciate the excellent service, convenient location, delicious food, and all the amenities provided.

Hikkaduwa Saffron Hotel was the first hotel on our trip, so I took a lot of thoughts when choosing it. Those who like antique hotels, please come, the cabinet bed, Luohan bed desk, meet all your requirements for retro quality, full of ancient flavor. However, modern washing and air-conditioning facilities will not make you feel that life is inconvenient, and we chose the second floor room, which is super large and has a good view. When we wanted to change to a double bed, we added a single bed for free without saying anything, so we had a good rest. The service of the hotel is very good, we go snorkeling after checking out, and we can go back to the hotel to take a shower. The disadvantage is that the price is small and expensive.

We love this hotel. We had a sea view room. It was such a calming experience where I could hear the sound of waves inside the room ! They provide basic amenities although you have to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. The location was good, you can just walk out and there are shops along the road. One can easily find this hotel. We had our dinner and breakfast by the pool over looking the ocean. Good food with stunning view. This is the hotel I would definitely go back ! About the spa.. I won’t call it a spa though. The set up is like those roadside massage parlor although the massage was good.

The Tamara Motels,we just remember this name for the best place in Hikkaduwa. Before we went their we heard and read lots of comments and reviews about this motel. When we come over there we realized yes everything is true. We have stay for a three days for at this hotel. Stepping through the garden, i was immediately struck by the beautiful and friendly reception area. Light, airy and very spacious...very welcoming atmosphere. The staff throughout the hotel were very professional, friendly and extremely helpful. This is a family business doing by mother son his wife and cute little baby. They always greeting and smiling to us. They are very helpful and give us the best option for everything we need. The breakfasts were amazing. It is not like other breakfast we had. Bread toast and omlet in it. Its very delicious.The location of the hotel is great. The room was very spacious and well equipped with all essentials. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to the tourists who want to go to Hikkaduwa. Will be back to this place soon..!!!

The hotel, to put it mildly, is very tired, the elevator has not been working for a very long time, there is no cleaning in the room, you have to ask to change the towels, if you throw them on the floor this does not guarantee a replacement, they will pick you up, fold them and put them on the bed... During the season, breakfast is a buffet and they are not bad, but in the off-season the breakfasts are very meager... The coffee is simply disgusting, I have never encountered worse anywhere... But all the shortcomings of the hotel are offset by its location! The best beach, beautiful ocean! And you can simply close your eyes to all the shortcomings and enjoy your vacation! By the way, there are only 10 sun loungers in the hotel, keep in mind...

Because the previous nights were reserved for special hotels, I chose Asia Leisure for the last night because it is a new hotel in 2018. It is indeed new and I was not disappointed. Meals: Two restaurants, we ordered food and spent 26,000 rupees, which is still very cost-effective. Breakfast is a cafeteria, and children need to make up the difference. Location: 15 minutes walk from Galle Fort, it is very convenient to go there by tutu for 300-400 rupees. Supporting facilities: The sight of the outdoor swimming pool is great, you can see the sea view and the towering ancient city, because it is located in the air outlet, it is only open until 8 o'clock every night. The types of equipment in the gym on the G floor are average.
