If you are born in the 90ties, you might feel a little retro upon entering your room. The interior is not exactly what is called modern today. However, our room was very clean, tidy and spacious, no signs of wear-and-tear. It felt a little like being at Grandmas and being allowed to watch TV on the couch all afternoon long. Very cozy. We also had a great view. Let me tell you about the food: It is remarkable! The cook knows his region but also his craft. The price for the experience is more than fair. The service was friendly and helpful. We arrived late without telling them. However they thought ahead so we were able to check in with no problems or delay. The restaurant staff is friendly and helpful, however they have the same problems of getting fully re-staffed as every other business does. If you understand this and plan enough time, you will have a great stay.

Das Lokal ist stimmungsvoll. Die Bedienung in Ordnung. Das Essen war gut. ABER. die Luft war katastrofal. Es war wie früher als man nach einem Restaurantbesuch alles in die Wäsche tun musste. Schade.........

Hôtel sympa, accueillant, propre. Le seul bémol pour nous était que la carte au restaurant n’était pas disponible en anglais ou français. Par contre, nous avons très bien mangé, le petit déjeuner était bon aussi. Un petit plus : le train gratuit à partir de 2 nuits sur place donc nous avons pu se rendre à Titisee à pieds et retour en train.

Hotel Imberry is een familiehotel in klassieke Schwarzwald stijl in het heuvelachtige toeristische plaatsje Hinterzarten. De hotelkamers zijn verspreid over 2 gebouwen die via een gang verbonden zijn. Om te kamers in het bijgebouw te bereiken moet je wel over trappen door de eetzaal naar beneden en dan kan in het bijgebouw eventueel van een lift gebruik gemaakt worden. Er is een buitenterras en tuin. Ook beschikt het hotel over goede parkeerruimte en een beveiligde fietsenstalling.Het hotel beschikt over een (a la carte) restaurant. En biedt een goed verzorgd ontbijt. In de directe omgeving zijn een aantal andere restaurants te vinden. Kamers zijn voldoende ruim tot ruim ( zeker in het bijgebouw) en hebben een ruime badkamer. Het tegelwerk is wat gedateerd maar goed schoon. het personeel doet moeite het gasten naar de zin te maken.
