Arrived on short notice, staff was very helpful, patient, professional, and offering most affordable rooms first. Our group/family wanted a little more room, so we opted for one of the more spacious seaside view rooms. Wow! What an amazing view and able to walk along beach at sunset that seems to last forever here (because of summer solstice). One of our family members took full advantage of the bathroom hottub for over an hour! While others of us went beach combing and enjoyed the scenery. Even though we met several other amazing people staying at the same place, it wasn't very crowded at all and felt like we had the entire beach house, yard and beach area to ourselves. The kids really enjoyed Homer, staying here and everything about it.

Such a cute little historic inn! The rooms are small and cozy, and there are European-style shared bathrooms. Very comfortable beds, an absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean/beach/mountains, and great coffee right in the room. We had a great stay and walked up the street to Fat Olives for dinner. My only complaint is that there were inconsiderate guests staying at the same time we did and they were slamming doors until about 12:30am then again starting at 6am. Not the hotel’s fault at all, but perhaps the front desk could let people know they need to close doors quietly out of respect for others.

The best place for a family gathering! We rented the seaside lodge and the katchemak cottage. We enjoyed the great accommodations, the amazing deck, all the necessities to cook meals, and the proximity to the beach. Oh and the playground! Great place for kids. The staff was lovely and quick to help. Check in and out was a breeze. They even allowed a one night extension when we couldn’t end the fun just yet. We will be back!

Such a great place. So awesome to support a family business instead of some corporate mega hotel. If you are in Homer, make this a destination for you to stay at. Great slice of history to partake in. Hotel is a great location that is off the beaten path and allows you to step back in history for a bit.

I stay in the RV park in my camper van. I like the location, because it is an easy walk to Bishop's Beach, and it is quieter than some of the bigger more crowded RV parks. Staff is helpful with anything needed. Pretty sure I will be staying there again

Stayed in the RV park. It was perfect for 2 small trailers with a spectacular ocean front view! It’s a small and quaint campground and while sites are close together it doesn’t feel that way. So much nicer than the campgrounds on Homer spit where it’s large parking lots crammed together on gravel pads. Bathrooms and showers were done if the cleanest I’ve ever use. Well done!

We have been coming here for about 25 years. We have always stayed only in the rv area. The shower rooms are exceptional. This trip we also got a bunkhouse room. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. All we could have asked for. The whole experience was wonderful! We will definitely be back.

Room was cozy and clean. Great location where we could just walk to dinner or the beach, while still being a quiet area. But what really makes this place special is the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed, even helped us out with a travel planning pickle we had got ourselves into.

We had a room in the Bluffview lodge. It was so clean, comfy, spacious, and the views of the waterfront were AMAZING!! Would love to bring the whole family back and rent the entire lodge!! We would Highly recommend! They do a top notch job at the Driftwood Inn!
