"On the edge of Homer Town, pay attention to the short check-in time and almost missed it. The extreme day is still bright, the older hotel is still bright, but the internal organs are complete. "We loved staying at Homer Stay and Play. Our room was so comfortable and looked out over the mountains and Homer Spit. Breakfast every morning was delicious and we chose what we wanted each night for the next day. Our hosts, Anna and Byran were wonderful and gave us lots of tips for our stay. They are up on the hills in Homer and regularly see moose in their yard. We were not disappointed. We even had to delay our dinner reservation because there was a moose calf calmly eating their vegetation in the yard. We had a great stay here. We ate at AJ's Steak House (in town) and Captain Patty's on the spit."

"To był nasz weekend uciekł, i wcale nie rozczarował. Miejsce było łatwe do znalezienia. Właściciele oferowali nie tylko wszystko, czego potrzebowaliśmy, tj. instrukcje, czyste, ciepłe i przytulne pomieszczenie, ale widoki były absolutnie spektakularne!!! Widzieliśmy żwirowa, orły, pieczęci i hydrauliki, bezpośrednio poza oknem!!! Pogoda była również naszym przyjacielem. Widzieliśmy pełną Księżyc Zbierania, Aurora Borealis, niebo pełne gwiazd, a nawet kometę ATLAS. To nigdy nie było lepsze! Właściciele zawsze odpowiedzieli na nasze pytania w ciągu kilku minut, ale nie przeszkadzali nam inaczej. Kochałem wszystko o tym miejscu i bardzo zalecam, aby odwiedzić go. Będziemy z pewnością tam z powrotem. Easy 5 gwiazd!!!"

"This IS luxury. From the time you are greeted and attended to by Zayda and Amanda, to the time you leave, it’s all first class. The view is amazing and the rooms are fantastic. Great beds and neat showers! We loved our 2 hr spa session. The location is not on the spit, but it’s just a short drive to it, as well as “old town” Homer! The breakfast bag was convenient and nice to have, but it was unremarkable. Lots of swag for sale in the lobby and several self serve items for purchase as well. We had a great stay here. VictorB"

"The Baycrest Lodge has a series of buildings, but while they are close to each other, they are actually very private. Our building (Aspen) had netting between us and the next building to shield us from each other. The decorations in the buildings are 1st class. Comfortable bed, sofa's and a good TV. A robe and extra towels were provided for getting to and from the hottub which is on the back deck. While in the tub (or while inside looking out) you are treated to magnificent views of the mountains across the bay. The kitchen was well appointed, with good quality appliances and cookware. A Keurig coffee pot (and a standard one) was provided along with Keurig capsules. The products for the shower were the Alpenglow brand, which are organic and made and Alaska. The women in our group were happy with the quality. The location is on the top of a hill with great views. The only drawback is that it is about 5 minutes into town. The spit is a bit further, but a very easy drive with no turns. We have now stayed there 2 times and would do so again if we ever get the chance to travel to Alaska and Homer again."

"This was a great hotel to stay at! It had a walking trail on property leading to Bishop Beach. I spend days and hours walking along the beach. The large suite itself had a kitchen which made it convenient to eat at the hotel. It is right across the street from a grocery store and an easy walk to many restaurants. I'd stay here again in my next trip to Homer, Alaska!"
