Rooms are clean and comfortable. Sound proof not really good as we can hear the neighbour played loud music. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Foods are good and great choices to choose. They gave us tried their new creation of pastry and it was awesome! There was a live band at night which is great. Will comeback here again if we come back to Jogjakarta.

A good hotel in a good location that’s got a weak spot, which is its food. We had a double room that was a great size with a very big bed furnished with comfortable linen. The a/c worked well and was relatively quiet. There was in room tea and coffee and bottled water.  We ate at the hotel twice, and declined breakfast after looking to see what was available. For breakfast, while we were around 40 minutes from the end of service the food looked meagre and unappetising. There was the opportunity to have omelettes etc, but we decided against it.  We ate in the rooftop restaurant, ordering spaghetti bolognese, chicken wings, spring rolls and a pizza. The food took a while to arrive and when it did it all came at once. All of the food was tepid at best and seemed as if it had been waiting to be collected and brought from the ground floor to the top floor. The bolognese was acceptable with the pasta being cooked al dente. The spring rolls had gone soggy and the wings, being just warm, were cooked ok but the sauce they were covered in was sickly sweet. The pizza was not cooked. The toppings appeared to be cooked but the base was raw. The dough was uncooked and inedible. We pointed this out and we were told it could be cooked further. We decided that probably wouldn’t improve it much. The staff offered a replacement, but again we decided that it would take too long and asked for it to be taken off the bill.  The second time we ate at the hotel we used the ground floor restaurant. Once again the food was disappointing. The oxtail soups contained beef that was not tender but tough, although the clear broth was tasty. The pasta of beef Alfredo, which was advertised as containing beef, mushrooms, etc was served with just a few pieces of what looked like smoked beef in a claggy sauce. Again, it appeared as if the meal had been sitting on the counter waiting for the waiters to deliver it to the table and had lost its heat. The fruit salad platter and banana fritters were very good.  Service at the hotel, from reception staff through to housekeeping was very good.  Overall, I’d stay again by I would avoid the restaurants.

I will absolutely recommend this hostel to u whos gonna traveling to Jogja with a minimum budget, this hostel was placed in Prawirotaman, around 3-4 km from Lempuyangan or Tugu station. I book this hostel for 100k IDR for one night in a female only dormitory that consist 6 bed, if u travel alone or with ur friend I really recommend u for this, first the place is strategic. The bedroom, bathroom and area hostel is always clean, plus the service is so nice, I met one of a girl who works there and she is super friendly. Unfortunately if u want to order a breakfast u have to pre order it minimum 1 day, I can't order it that day but one of the worker there whose being so nice and friendly recommend me to go to pasar prawirotaman at the morning then I found an authentic carabikang seller that was so cheap and yummy. This hostel also give u information about trips and bike rental if u want. This hostel also had a rooftop and a set of table and chair that u can enjoy in the morning or night, chit chat with each other or doing ur remote work 😆. And One of the perks of staying this hostel is u can meet someone who also doing travelling then share ur story, I met a girl from Netherlands who just finished her master research in Indonesia and a girl from jakarta that also doing solo traveling.

The hotel’s location is good, and overall the stay was fine. However, the bathroom was a bit dirty, with mold and black spots in the corners. The small fridge also didn’t work(not cooling) and seemed very dirty inside, with noticeable black spots.(We forget to take a picture of it) Breakfast was kinda fine, but dinner at the restaurant was a bit disappointing. We ordered the fried squid dish, but it still had the membrane attached, which made it tough and inedible. Plus point 👉 👉 The staff are all very friendly and helpful!!

The place is nice. I book with trip.com for 2 nights because of the high rating. The staff is friendly and accommodating so easy to request things such as ironing stuff. Location to malioboro street also just 5 minutes away, so easy to take a walk and spend your money to the variety of stores@toko there. Checkin process was smooth and convenient. The toilet also got pipe for easy washing after use off the loo. Unfortunately the room that i book is small and hardly a space to move freely. I’m on vacation and buy quite a lot of souvenirs, so it’s hard to do the packing conveniently. Booking the room without a window, actually means no view although there is a widow , but it doesn’t bother that much. So if you just wanna chill and explore malioboro area, this place will be “the place”. The photo i share is not related to the room because forgot to snap picture. “Too busy arranging my staff” i guessed 😆. Most of the picture was during breakfast time. Lots of variety and i enjoy it.

Tempat nya sangat baik dengan Harga yg bersaing, lokasi juga sangat dekat dengan Malioboro dan pusat kota juga Stasiun Tugu,ditambah Kolam renang yg menjadi nilai plus..menginap ber-4 dengan istri dan 2 anak tidak dikenakan Charge lagi..next jika ada rejeki mampir lagi ke Gloria Amanda Hotel...

1. There was no cupboard or hangers for clothes. 2. Soap dispensers in the toilet & the washeroom weren't working properly. 3. There is no handle on the toilet door ( just a small round steel piece) , hard to pull n open. 4. No room clean unless u call n request the reception. Suggestions: 1. Need to include basic amenities as all other hotels do have, like : Cupboards, Iron Box, atleast 4 hangers, etc. 2. Hotel should have the card ( Please make or clean my room / Do Not Disturb ).

Dont understand who gave good reviews for this homestay, maybe they stayed for the right price sufficient for this small house. Not worth more than 80K. I prefer to not review if not for few unprofessional issues. While booking this place, the price changed more than a few times from rupiah 120 to 250k. I never seen like this happen online bookings. So, i did not book. Many hours later the priice was down at 120k again. So, i booked. Then, the owner sends twice long annoying emails and a shorter whatsapp message (attached herewith) asking for pre-arrival info, a very professional wriiten corporate style. I ignored since those just did not look right. Upon reaching the place - not a corporate guest house but a crampy old home, the owner came out slowly and then just talks to my wife completely ignoring me. He kept chatting. Not a likeable elder, a little tricky i felt.. The room was very small with a type of bed that is just good for a few hours sleep. No water bottles, tissues or new soap. Poor room lighting matched the purpose. In the night one someone plays the TV so loud right next to the room for a long time until i requested him to lower volume. Almost midnight a few guests were tslking so loud right there for a long time knowing we were sleeping. We left early the next day.
