We booked feeling a little nervous as we read the various reviews but also hesitated with little experience of a B&B Guest house. There seemed very few choices in Naples ( Chiaia district) a prime , safer area ; to have a suite with some kitchenette and a very reasonable price. We were warmly welcomed to our studio suite, spacious , well organised with a lot of thought in the location of design of fixtures and furniture; seating to take breakfast, working desk and or relax on the sofa. Brightly lit room with big “can open” sound proof windows or option to use the air conditioning system . Views of the nearby residential apartments actually helped us feel at home ( even though we were not able to enjoy the Naples sea view) Bed, mattress , linen and pillows were fine ( for those who require more specific finer finishes should not go to a Guest house) Bathroom was practical and had all that one needed, with hand held shower and rain shower installed. Kitchenette had electric stove , coffee maker, kettle , Fridge and utensils. Again sufficient for a 4 night stay. Any longer an oven or toaster would have been nice to heat up bread. The highlight worth mentioning, as most reviews have , is Massimo who helped us with recommendations, guided us with a local map, booked day tour to Pompeii, our taxi and so much more.. Honestly, for those of us who have been lucky to stay in 5 star hotels will know that you don’t always get this type of discreet professional reliable hospitality that Massimo has shown us. If you don’t mind staying at a guest house which may sound daunting , or that the entrance of the building may be slightly off the side street but having read this review will reassure you that the 24 hours security guards and the gated premises made it feel like a home away from home. Thank you Massimo and team for keeping our room super clean , daily when we really didn’t expect the service. Likewise appreciated the small touches of receiving disposable raincoats in case of heavy rain on our tour.

Camera pulita, comunicazione ottima!

Terrible experience with this hotel. After confirming the booking and arriving are the area the owner disappears for hours, doesn’t answer texts or phone calls and doesn’t leave anybody in the property to check us in we had to plead with locals to help us get the owners phone number. In addition, when we checked us we had to deal with non English speakers (how do you rent properties internationally without being able to communicate?) and also demanded tax payment in cash even though they carried no change so we ended up paying more than needed. Property itself very nice and clean but I recommend to stay away.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

I'm impressed by the cleanliness of this hostel, which is way cleaner and prettier than other hostels that I've stayed before. The room even has a private bathroom and surprisingly also a little balcony, very neat and well decorated! I'm also surprised to see there is a shared kitchen (which is also very clean and well managed) which serves breakfast! Truly amazing experience staying here knowing great people across the world!

Pokój był przyzwoity jak na europejski hotel, a do tego znajdował się bardzo blisko centralnej stacji kolejowej i metra w Neapolu, co ułatwiało dotarcie do Pompejów lub Sorrento. Młody mężczyzna w recepcji był bardzo pomocny i polecił nam trasy zwiedzania. Śniadanie również było dobre; śniadanie za 5 euro wydaje się luksusem w Europie. Młoda kelnerka podała nam kawę, jak w rodzinnym hotelu. Należy jednak pamiętać, że recepcja i pokoje hotelowe znajdują się tuż obok. Dzwoniliśmy dzwonkiem przez chwilę, zanim ktoś zszedł na dół i powiedział nam, że to jest tuż obok. Proponuję, aby właściciel umieścił tabliczkę lub tabliczkę. Neapol zdecydowanie warto odwiedzić.

Hotel położony jest blisko dworca kolejowego Naples Centrale. Jednak nawet w ciągu dnia okolica wydaje się niebezpieczna, więc na początku trochę się przestraszyłem, mimo że byłem sam. Jednak zawsze w pobliżu jest policja, co było ulgą. W pobliżu dworca autobusowego Naples Centrale znajduje się supermarket, a ceny są średnie, więc polecam go. Udogodnienia w hotelu ograniczają się do ręczników, papieru toaletowego, mydła i jednorazowego szamponu. Nie ma lodówki, kubków, szczoteczek do zębów ani suszarki do włosów, więc trzeba zabrać ze sobą wszystkie te rzeczy. Nie ma zasłony prysznicowej ani maty łazienkowej, więc skóra zmoknie pod prysznicem. Hotel znajduje się blisko dworca kolejowego Naples Centrale i jest niedrogi, więc polecam go osobom, dla których lokalizacja jest ważniejsza niż hotel. Nie poleciłbym go osobom, które chcą odpocząć po powrocie lub na kilka dni. Na jedną lub dwie noce jest w porządku. Jeśli chcesz połączyć zwiedzanie z relaksem, warto poszukać hotelu w pobliżu portu. Personel recepcji był bardzo miły i pomocny. Wróciłem do hotelu ze spokojem ducha. Pokój był czysty, a ściany i stoły wyglądały na świeżo obite, więc było przyjemnie i schludnie. Klimatyzacja działała sprawnie. W samym hotelu unosił się stęchły zapach, więc dobrym pomysłem może być przynajmniej rozstawienie tu i ówdzie odświeżaczy powietrza. Jeśli chcesz zrelaksować się w hotelu wieczorem, jest bezpośrednie połączenie metrem z dworcem kolejowym Neapol Central, więc lepszym rozwiązaniem może być pobyt w hotelu nieco oddalonym od dworca kolejowego Neapol Central.

Po pierwsze to nie hostel, a hotel naprzeciwko dworca, a cena jest wyjątkowa. Chociaż było blisko dworca centralnego, brukowany chodnik w Neapolu był tak nierówny, że wydawało się, że jest daleko (lol). Pokój był bardzo mały. Byłem pod wrażeniem, że istniał tak mały hotel. Z jakiegoś powodu Mapy Google wskazały mi tył hotelu i udało mi się tam dotrzeć dopiero po oprowadzeniu przez miejscowego, więc lepiej zachowam ostrożność. Nie ma windy, więc dla osób z dużym bagażem może to być trudne. Jedyne udogodnienia to szampon. Poza tym, gdy spałam, ukąsił mnie w 8 miejscach dziwny owad (nie sądzę, żeby to był kleszcz, bo nie było śladów wysysania krwi...), a prawą rękę ukąsił mnie tyle razy, że prawa ręka była spuchnięta i spuchnięta😂 Mimo, że nawet jej nie podrapałam, czy nie jest niebezpieczne, że miejsce ugryzienia spuchnie? Jednak wszyscy pracownicy byli mili! Bezpłatne śniadanie również było pyszne!
