It was a great experience at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the whole place was spotless. We enjoyed our room, especially the direct mountain view. The food was excellent. Overall, it was a wonderful stay.

Considered good for the value as the package come with buffet style breakfast and dinner plus additional service like onsen, free float liquid for dinner, complimentary coffee, drinks, snack, free shuttle bus and library for selected time. Easy to get there by using red line bus just a very short distance of walk. The staffs are friendly and helpful, able to communicate in English. The only con is the building very old, a bit run down, it's time for them to consider refurbishment, but overall it is clean.

The room is a comfortable size and offers a lovely view of Mount Fuji from the corner. It is clean and well equipped, with individual air-conditioning in the room. All the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. The hotel also has onsen facilities, including separate male and female as well as private onsen. Parking is available, located a short distance from the hotel.

It is my first trip to Mt Fuji, the view is fascinating that woke up I could see from the window, in front is Lake Kawaguchiko at hotel front door. I extend another night here with my mother. The buffet dinner is great.

Location is good. Room is spacious. There is a sightseeing bus stop just nearby the hotel. U can walk from Kawaguchiko station as well. Breakfast is yummy and full. Mt. Fuji can be seen from car park of hotel. Kawaguchiko lake just across the road. Very nice view.

For some reason I was not sent a QR Code to my email to check in. I was sent a pin number which was not necessary or utilized. We arrived at the villa several hours early and called to see if we could check in early, they apparently have a strict after 3pm check-in. We found a place and paid to store our luggage and then came back to the villa at 3pm. Again, still had not received the QR Code. Called again, was hung up on. Called back, was told it would take 10 minutes. Called back and was asked for my email, was put on hold then was asked for my email again (which was already provided at booking). Then was asked to send them an email, they didn't get it and then was asked to send to personal icloud email. They finally found my email and sent the QR Code to me at close to 4pm which was an hour after check-in and we had to stand out in the sun the entire time. This was so frustrating and ridiculous. My email address was in the reservation, why it took so long is crazy. The process needs to be updated so this doesn't happen to other people. There was a huge spider above the TV in the corner, we got rid of it but it was creepy. The view from the villa was great! The beds were nice! Loved the double showers! The body sponges are so clever and left our skin feeling smoothe! The clothes drying was very innovative and did work effectively, needed to turn the heater on twice to get the clothes dry. Towel rack on the wall was broken on the right side, the rod wouldn't stay in. The one pot in the kitchen was burnt on the bottom inside, we tried to clean it to use it but could not. We did use the grill to make dinner and it was a wonderful touch!

Whether it’s early morning when the summit catches the first rays of sunlight, or during a serene sunset, the unobstructed view of Mount Fuji reflected in Lake Kawaguchiko is simply unforgettable. I woke up early just to capture a time-lapse of the sunrise, and it was worth every second of lost sleep. We also filmed a sunset time-lapse, and again, Fuji didn’t disappoint. ⸻ 🚶♂️ Getting There: Worth the Scenic Walk Although the hotel offers a shuttle bus pickup service, we chose to walk from Kawaguchiko Station — and it was a delightful decision. The 20–30 minute stroll is scenic and peaceful. We even stopped by a local supermarket for some ice cream while enjoying views of Mt. Fuji in the background. It was an experience that made us feel like locals soaking in a perfect day. ⸻ 🛏 Tatami Rooms: Authentic and Comfortable The tatami-style room was clean, spacious, and gave us a deeply authentic Japanese lodging experience. Sliding doors, futon beds, and traditional touches made our stay both relaxing and culturally immersive. ⸻ ♨️ Hot Springs: Cozy, Not Crowded The hotel features both indoor and outdoor onsen (hot springs). While not particularly large, they are a nice bonus to unwind after a day of exploring. Since they only accommodate a few people at a time, it’s best to avoid peak hours. ⸻ 🍱 Meals: Included and Delicious Our stay included both breakfast and dinner, and the food was outstanding. A beautifully arranged kaiseki-style dinner showcased seasonal ingredients, fresh sashimi, grilled seafood, and hot pots. Breakfast was equally satisfying with a variety of small dishes and a perfectly cooked grilled fish. Everything was crafted with care and served with hospitality. ⸻ 📝 Suggestions: • Bring a tripod if you’re planning to do photography or time-lapses — the view is too good not to capture properly. • Try both the indoor and outdoor onsen during quiet hours to fully enjoy the experience. • Use the shuttle service if you’re carrying large luggage, as the walk (while scenic) do take around 30 minutes. ⸻ ⭐ Final Verdict: 9/10 Hotel Mifujien is all about the view — and it delivers. Combine that with great meals, clean traditional rooms, and hot springs, and you have the perfect base to enjoy Mt. Fuji in all its glory.

An Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan. The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed. Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you. One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there. I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient! I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

Personel był niezwykle przyjazny. Chociaż w tym obiekcie często przebywają obcokrajowcy, glamping jest bardzo relaksujący. Do dyspozycji gości jest łaźnia na świeżym powietrzu, dzięki czemu nocny widok jest piękny, a rano, w zależności od pogody, można dostrzec górę Fudżi tuż przed sobą. Brama torii wewnątrz obiektu oferuje widok na górę Fudżi i jest doskonałym miejscem do robienia zdjęć. Zatrzymaliśmy się z rodziną i chętnie skorzystalibyśmy z tego obiektu ponownie.

To bardzo przyjemny hotel, z dobrym wyposażeniem, pięknym widokiem, czysty i z miłą obsługą rezerwacji. Oferują przerwy na przekąski, herbatę, kawę i pyszne śniadanie w formie bufetu. Dojście do dworca autobusowego zajmuje około 1 km, a do kolejki linowej Kawaguchiko jest zaledwie 10 metrów. Hotel jest również położony niedaleko jeziora Kawaguchiko. Można tu spędzić czas z rodziną, pływając łodzią-kaczką lub jeżdżąc na rowerze.
