"We are going to Yosemite National Park to rest here for 1 night. It takes about 1 hour to drive from the hotel to the park. The hotel is on the roadside and it is easy to find. There is a Chinese restaurant about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It tastes good. The hotel room is relatively large. There is a special parking lot. The facilities in the room are a bit rudimentary, but it is not bad as a motel."

The Hostel California ★

"This lodging was great and is about the only affordable place in Bishop! The hostel includes private rooms or shared dorms. I stayed in a shared, mixed dorm and it was perfect. The rooms are large and there is plenty of room along with locker space and good heating. The rooms and linens are clean and the staff couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. The dorms are in a separate building so it is quieter than an regular hostel where most things are in the same building! Shared space includes a lovely yard, living room, dining room and very clean kitchen. Tea and coffee are complimentary and there is a fleet of free bikes available for daily use. I stayed two nights and would't hesitate to stay again if in the area."
