The hotel does not honor reservations guaranteed by advance payment. It happened on Jan 9, 2020, with a prepaid reservation. The reception first claimed that my reservation had been cancelled, then that my reservation ”was” in another hotel of their network, in another town near Itajaí, and that they didn’t have any apartment available in the Itajaí unit. Soon after another guest checked in, and the reception claimed he was a guest ”of a company”. Then the commercial manager by phone claimed that a cruise ship did not dock, they were overbooked, and had ”relocated” me to another hotel in another city. After all, they had some apartments booked ”for companies” and almost an hour later, given my threat to notify the competent authorities, I ended up being accommodated - for the last time of course - in this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and new. It has a swimming pool and a mini academy. As highlights I have the reception service that was great from the beginning. Location also very good, next to the balsa, near the center. The price is also consistent with what it offers, so it has a great cost x benefit. The air worked perfectly, the shower was wonderful, heated fast and has very good vacuum, the bath was excellent.However, the beds could improve ... I found the bed a little hard, a little fast in the time of sleep. The hotel restaurant is also very good, it has good dishes and a variety of good. Breakfast is also tasty but nothing exceptional, I missed a little more varieties. The hotel was the most frustrated by the breakfast, and it was served until 10:00, but the officials are already starting to take away everything. 10:05 the table is empty, no food option. On one day we arrived at 9:50 to drink coffee, it gave time to serve only 1 dish and only, we were hungry because we couldn't repeat it. If the coffee goes until 10 a.m. I hoped that the food would be available at least until 10 a.m. as the person would be able to eat calmly and quietly, and sincerely, I felt that was bad and felt injured as a consumer.

We stayed in this hotel to go to Beto Carreiro: new room, breakfast and very good dinner (but only breakfast was included in the daily). We are in front of the port, walking in the ”centre” of the hotel. The children love to stay watching the port operation, which is 24x7. However, it is a little noise in the room, because of the sirens (which make noise equal to the truck's re). The pool is covered and heated, so it is good to enjoy in the cold: another one is that you need to pick up and return the towels at the reception, which is not very pleasant.

I was hosted at the hotel from Friday to Sunday to take a course at the same place. For the occasion it was excellent! And as Sunday was a beautiful day, we stayed on the second, we took a luxury room and everything was in great condition. The bathroom, towels and bed clothes clean, the bed is very good in itself. Well spacious and airy. Special details was the wall of the bathroom box being glass, with view to the sea, a delicious to take a bath like this. As the hotel is close to the sea, it was giving to listen to the waves in the room, packing the sleep ... unique details: hair dryer was not working, but the reception brought us a great dryer at the exact time we request ... and the TV has very few Canals (but this is an insignificant detail near the view of the pickup) Breakfast is OK, serves the basic. There are few salt options, but with several cookies and sweets options. The only negative point is the lack of a safe garage. We have to leave the car parked on the street. If someone plans the whole year for a 5-star trip, the hotel leaves to desire in a few points. Near the hotel has a bar for the beach service, and also for dinner at night. We chose to dine 1 night in Cabeçudas, 1 night in Itajaí and 1 night in Badenário Camburú. We went from Uber and was very quiet. We have already agreed that we will go again in the next holidays. Special details: Hotel has cat and dog receiving us *-* s2

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the HGI Itajai. The hotel’s conveniently located near Brava Beach (we walked to it Sunday) and Balneario Camboriu. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and the room was large and comfortable. I really liked the firm mattress and lots of large pillows.

I had my room invaded while we were sleeping at 8 a.m. and our property was stolen! That's right, they entered the room and stole without any lockdown! The hotel in this act represented by the Director General has guided me to open a newsletter on the events and to run after the damage in justice! I was on a family trip with a wife and daughter of 4 years and I had my holidays frustrated by the lack of hotel security and responsibility with your guests! I had to sleep with a baggage barricade in the door fearing to go back into the room! I share this experience so that you think better before booking here!

We stayed in this hotel to go to Beto Carreiro: new room, breakfast and very good dinner (but only breakfast was included in the daily). We are in front of the port, walking in the ”centre” of the hotel. The children love to stay watching the port operation, which is 24x7. However, it is a little noise in the room, because of the sirens (which make noise equal to the truck's re). The pool is covered and heated, so it is good to enjoy in the cold: another one is that you need to pick up and return the towels at the reception, which is not very pleasant.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and new. It has a swimming pool and a mini academy. As highlights I have the reception service that was great from the beginning. Location also very good, next to the balsa, near the center. The price is also consistent with what it offers, so it has a great cost x benefit. The air worked perfectly, the shower was wonderful, heated fast and has very good vacuum, the bath was excellent.However, the beds could improve ... I found the bed a little hard, a little fast in the time of sleep. The hotel restaurant is also very good, it has good dishes and a variety of good. Breakfast is also tasty but nothing exceptional, I missed a little more varieties. The hotel was the most frustrated by the breakfast, and it was served until 10:00, but the officials are already starting to take away everything. 10:05 the table is empty, no food option. On one day we arrived at 9:50 to drink coffee, it gave time to serve only 1 dish and only, we were hungry because we couldn't repeat it. If the coffee goes until 10 a.m. I hoped that the food would be available at least until 10 a.m. as the person would be able to eat calmly and quietly, and sincerely, I felt that was bad and felt injured as a consumer.

I was hosted at the hotel from Friday to Sunday to take a course at the same place. For the occasion it was excellent! And as Sunday was a beautiful day, we stayed on the second, we took a luxury room and everything was in great condition. The bathroom, towels and bed clothes clean, the bed is very good in itself. Well spacious and airy. Special details was the wall of the bathroom box being glass, with view to the sea, a delicious to take a bath like this. As the hotel is close to the sea, it was giving to listen to the waves in the room, packing the sleep ... unique details: hair dryer was not working, but the reception brought us a great dryer at the exact time we request ... and the TV has very few Canals (but this is an insignificant detail near the view of the pickup) Breakfast is OK, serves the basic. There are few salt options, but with several cookies and sweets options. The only negative point is the lack of a safe garage. We have to leave the car parked on the street. If someone plans the whole year for a 5-star trip, the hotel leaves to desire in a few points. Near the hotel has a bar for the beach service, and also for dinner at night. We chose to dine 1 night in Cabeçudas, 1 night in Itajaí and 1 night in Badenário Camburú. We went from Uber and was very quiet. We have already agreed that we will go again in the next holidays. Special details: Hotel has cat and dog receiving us *-* s2

I had my room invaded while we were sleeping at 8 a.m. and our property was stolen! That's right, they entered the room and stole without any lockdown! The hotel in this act represented by the Director General has guided me to open a newsletter on the events and to run after the damage in justice! I was on a family trip with a wife and daughter of 4 years and I had my holidays frustrated by the lack of hotel security and responsibility with your guests! I had to sleep with a baggage barricade in the door fearing to go back into the room! I share this experience so that you think better before booking here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at the HGI Itajai. The hotel’s conveniently located near Brava Beach (we walked to it Sunday) and Balneario Camboriu. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and the room was large and comfortable. I really liked the firm mattress and lots of large pillows.
