"Nice thing is you can walk to the airport or walk to them from the airport, I liked it, they have a shuttle to shuttle you into town, maybe once or twice a day, I took it once. Little pricey for a cab from there to downtown but well worth it. A nice town to put your feet up for awhile"

"It was alright, but not great value for money. It cost 1100 RMB, which is only around 300 RMB in China. The young man at the front desk was very friendly and attentive; he patiently answered our travel questions until midnight last night. A big thumbs up!"

"The room was small, without a bathroom or bottled water. The tap in the room only had hot water, and you had to use the communal bathroom to brush your teeth, wash your face, and use the toilet. The soundproofing was poor. It was an old-fashioned wooden cabin-style hotel located in the town center."

"Stay at ramada was a 4/5 with early check in and nice and supportive staff. Location was near and walkable from downtown. Every excursion pickup point is literally 5-10min walkable from hotel. Only reasons for not giving 5/5 are 1. Room Phone was not working 2. Temperature control of Shower if our room was not working though they did provide alternate room just for shower purpose I would recommend this hotel for nearness to downtown and especially friendly staff"

Aspen Suites Hotel Juneau ★★

"The booking process was very stressful. I was trying to book directly through the hotel and I kept getting directed to a third party. I’ve had bad experiences with ******* and prefer to book directly with the hotels. The hotels were showing full for July 2nd, apparently due to the holiday. I found the Aspen Suites and booked it for $258. I felt that it was extremely expensive for what seems like a budget hotel. I understand the supply and demand concept but I felt that I was being gouged. When we arrived at the airport I tried calling the hotel to see if they had a shuttle and I couldn’t get through. It was around 8:30 pm (not like it was the middle of the night). We ended up taking a taxi. When I checked in, the lady was not pleasant at all and not very helpful. I signed a paper that stated the rate for the night as. $228 including tax. I asked for a copy and she refused. The next day I spoke to the manager, who was not unpleasant and he explained the process of booking through a third party which I already knew. Obviously, my first impression of Juneau Alaska was not good. The next day I realized that the majority of the people were not friendly. In general they are not tourist friendly at all. First and last time for Juneau and definitely the Aspen Suites hotel!"
