The Kandy Samadhicentre

My stay at Kandy samadhi centre was nothing short of a sensory delight. A beautiful space to relax in, gorgeous organic food and very comfortable rooms. The design of this place is incredible! Colours, antiques and architecture! Samadhi has a very ancient feel to it even though it’s only existed for 25yrs. I had a full body Ayurvedic trea**ent during my stay. What an experience- the setting alone for the trea**ents is an experience in itself but the quality of the massage was outstanding. The staff are beyond helpful and incredibly kind- full of smiles! My room overlooked the knuckles mountain range, felt super safe here at night. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to get off the beaten path and experience a really unique stay in a completely natural setting.

What an incredible, magical place Samadhi Centre is... This is my third trip. The first I came for lunch, the second I stayed for a night and the third I stayed for four nights... I could have stayed for 40 nights! The elegance and beauty of the jungle is intoxicating as is the delicious food and the comfortable bedrooms and the very courteous and helpful staff. Thank you for making my stay so wonderful, I look forward to returning.

I spent 9 days at the Kandy Samadhi Centre and honestly could have stayed another 10. My friend and I did a 8 day pancha karma trea**ent and it was one of the best things I've ever done. The food was phenomenal, the trea**ents were wonderful and the setting is absolutely perfect to unwind in. The staff are so generous and kind. Cannot recommend this place more highly! Already planning my next trip!

The most peaceful place on earth. This was my second time returning to Samadhi and it was just as memorable as the first time. The team has created a relaxing oasis in the middle of the Kandy mountains. The food is my favorite in all of Sri Lanka. Sleeping accommodations are very comfortable and clean. They offer a lot of daytime activities such as waterfall hikes, health and wellness trea**ents, river walks, yoga, and cooking classes. Samadhi remains my favorite place to visit.

Coming here off-season beginning of May had some unintentional pleasant surprises. We were visiting as a couple and had the whole establishment to ourselves. Secluded from the city, built in high elevation, protects you from the “wet heat” of Srilanka’s sometimes unbearable climate -especially for people who come from geographies with well-balanced seasons. The hotel (calling Samadhi Center a hotel is hugely understating the experience) grounds were very authentic, stylish and welcoming. Heavily built in stone and wood with a spacious layout, the room was very comfortable. You could be one with nature and feel like you are shedding life’s stress by each passing minute. Staff was extremely helpful especially with the unpleasant surprises we had with leeches during our waterfall hike. Body massage was the best I ever had with an authentic application of a steam bath. Would definitely recommend.

The Samadhi centre is a fantastic destination! The holistic nature of the resort is refreshing and calming, the scenery is beautiful, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The food was the best the local cuisine had to offer. I highly recommend it!

It's very proud to state that SAMADHI CENTER is a unique place to spend the holidays admiring the nature.The simplicity of this center and the a**osphere proved the same.I have been visited this place on several occations and ones again I had a chance to visit and stay for two days in this nature center. we enjoyed a bath in the natural water pool which was very safety and full of fresh water. We were so happy to have delicious food provided by the hotel and fresh fruits from the garden cultivation which were so tasty. Nicely arranged the dinning hall lit with traditional oil lamps attracts everybody and it is a wonderful place to enjoy the meals. It is a fantastic experience to have a cool climate sitting on the varandhe watching the nature with huge trees, birds, small cottages on the hills. It is very nice to appreciate the hospitality of the owner Mr. Waruna Jayasinghe and the staff. We highly recommend this samadhi center to people who love nature. Thank you very much and I wish all the success in the future.

I had and opportunity to be at SAMADHI CENTER Digana(Narampanawa) with my family.It was and Amazing weekend where I really enjoyed the nature and traditional healthy food which is very delicious. The photos shared by me is very evident for anybody to realise the heritage maintain center. My family and my self enjoyed a bath in the natural water pool which is very safety.The dining hall is very nicely arranged with traditional oil lamps. Rather than describing my own experience I would like to invite everybody to visit this center which may be rare and special place in sri lanka,maintain by Mr Waruna Jayasinghe a gentleman with high standard of discipline and hospitality. I wish him all the future success.

Everything was excellent, it was like a magical fairytale. I did not expect to enjoy it like that, I found the most beautiful place with amazing people. If you are looking for trea**ent then this is the place where you should go, it is in the forest with very nice waterfalls and with amazing accommodations. Near the complex is also the hill with the temple where you can go for a walk. I had a body massage and it was the best massage that I had, I was also in yoga class and it was also super nice. All people who I met there were so friendly and nice that I did not believe that is possible to find a place like this. The staff did me a tour around and they showed me some hidden spots like waterfalls etc. The food was delicious and for sure in the future, I will want to come back there again and I hope that I will have the chance to see them again.
