This place was perfect. It had great staff witch prepared amazing meals, cleaned everything well, and took care of anything we needed. It has great accessibility to get around town you can work to shops the temple and many other places. I had a wonder full stay with my family and will come here again for sure.

Very comfortable & cozy stay. Beautiful villa. Spacious room. Fantastic collection of vintage cars on display. Mahendran who attended to us was very accommodating and obliging. Very central yet quiet location.

Può sembrare carina dall’esterno ma appena siamo entrati abbiamo sentito un odore davvero cattivo, la cucina e’ all’ingresso e manda un odore di cibo orribile. Il bagno ed pieno di insetti. Così come anche il Letto. Sabbia e insetti che cadono dal tetto . Non si possono aprire le finestre per via delle Scimmie quindi fa un caldo incredibile. E per finire pagamento tutto Cash. Cosa che ci ha spiazzato perché non avevamo tanti contanti.

Très Belle maison de style colonial, décorée avec goût, située près du lac et du temple de la dent. Nous avons été accueillis par l’hôte de maison, attentionné, d’une grande disponibilité, très serviable. Une fontaine d’eau à disposition, des parapluies, un peignoir de bain…

Klasse Unterkunft im einer Traumhaft schönen Villa direkt am oberen Ende vom See. Für uns war es die perfekte Unterkunft für eine kleine Stadtführung mit dem Tuk Tuk. + reichlich Platz + kurzer Weg zum See + klasse Frühstück + super nettes Personal

Die Villa Gruhaya besticht durch ihre besondere Ausstattung und ganz besonderen Charme. Der Innenteich und die Antiquitäten bilden eine gemütliche Oase inmitten der lebendigen Stadt. Die beiden Haussitter sind super nett und hilfsbereit und bereiten ein fantastisches Rührei zum Frühstück zu ;-) Schade, dass wir nur eine Nacht dort warten, denn so eine Unterkunft findet man kein zweites Mal!

ein wunderschönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus das in einer Seitenstraße von dem großen See gut gelegen ist um alles zu Fuß ( oder mit dem Tuk Tuk) zu erreichen. Ich habe mich extrem wohl gefühlt und von einer auf 3 Nächte verlängert um von hier aus mir alles anzuschauen, was ich sehen wollte. Einen Tag davon einfach durch die vollen, bunten Straßen Kandys geschlendert. Für mich war der Aufenthalt nach Wochen rumgereise: Recherchieren, Unterkünften suchen, Transport organisieren - alles wieder ändern, da es doch nicht schön war- hier ein Wohltat einfach mal anzukommen. Als allein Reisende habe manch mich sehr aufgehoben und geschützt gefühlt. Der Caretaker Mehendran ist einer der reizendsten Menschen, die ich hier getroffen habe. Ich empfehle das Doppelzimmer mit Balkon zu nehmen es ist groß und schön eingerichtet. Und ich habe sogar morgens meinen Tee aufs Zimmer gebracht bekommen! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in diesem Haus!
