This is a lovely hotel and a great relaxed resort. The best of both worlds. Room: We came for a family holiday (kids age 12,11,7) had a 2 bedroom villa, which was a good set-up. Nice size pool between the two rooms. Beach villa 507/507. 2 mins walk to the beach. Youngest slept in our room as worried about passing the pool in the night, but we knew this beforehand. Probably the best room set-up and location we’ve ever had. Pleased with this. Lots of wildlife.. monkeys, monitors, frogs.. we loved this. Food: we had Thai buffet which was good. Great selection at breakfast. Aside from this, we ate at local restaurants- which were very good. Head out of the hotel and turn right. At the end of the beach there is a little village - lots of little restaurants. All very quiet due to lack of tourists following covid. Don’t be put put off by the quietness. Everything is fresh and delicious and you will be totally spoilt. I really hope tourism recovers a little here - the local people are desperately in need of it. ‘Same but different’ shack on beach (out of. Hotel and turn left) is small, but good food for lunch. Rice and noodle dishes, stir/fry, fries, very reasonably priced Lassis/soft drinks and beer. We ate here every lunchtime as it was close to our villa and couldn’t have asked for better. Beach: The beach is public, but Pimalai side is very quiet. Complimentary kayaks and paddle boards etc. we had a lovely family time. Excursions: hotel organised excursions are great and reasonably priced. We did morning mangrove tour - our tour guide (Gun) was superb. We also went on sunset cruise with snorkelling - also great! Downside: On check-in, we had no orientation and very little info about the hotel when we arrived. We were told everything was on the app. However, there was no internet in the room when we arrived (I think an external problem) so we couldn’t access it. We felt a little deserted. This was not a big deal - but we had no map or any real info about the hotel and surrounding area. It took 2 phonecalls to reception to explain we had no idea where I’m the resort we actually were, and no idea how to get to restaurants/no idea of food choices at hotel. They brought us a map. We arrived in the late afternoon after a long journey from London via Phuket. Nobody suggested where we go for food. Nobody asked if we wanted to make a reservation to eat. We headed out of the room to find food- with 3 very grumpy, tired and hungry kids. We found that there was a Thai buffet at the hotel - but only knew about this as it was on the route out of our room to the lobby. Nobody mentioned this when we checked in and we wouldn’t have known if we were staying anywhere else on the resort. Advice for people with kids— avoid top section of resort/hillside if you want to be near beach. It’s a bit more of a trek. Both pools are lovely and nicely shaded. Overall a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We chose Twin Lotus because it is adults only. It was romantic, peaceful, lovely, and we will definitely go back. We selected a room in the back as it was cheaper and we did not need to be on the beach. There are several, pools to choose from. The ine at the beach can get filled by 0830 but we always managed to get chairs with an umbrella. If you do not occupy your chair they remove the towel but leave your belongings. We took chairs that had a book on the side table. The book owner came and we explained no towels were on the chair. She knew the rules and said she would choose a beach chair instead ( along the beach are chairs but no umbrellas). We were thrilled she was so nice. The breakfast buffet is standard and plentiful. All the choices were delicious. No flies or ants anywhere. You may see an occasional meandering water monitor but they walk past you. The gym is immaculate and adequately equipped. The spa is wonderful with well- trained staff. We had dinner there a few times and the food was very good. There are places in the little streets behind the hotel and along the beach and next door, but Twin Lotus food was better though a bit more costly. Happy Hour drinks were good. We had a Go Dive snorkel dive tours to Koh Haa and a car ride to Old Town. Recommend both. The people in Old Town were exceptionally nice and the little museum is quaint. Eateries along their street are good. Allow two hours for Old Town not including the drive to and from. The next time we stay at Twin Lotus we will go to Phi Phi but have been before. Twin Lotus has many books to borrow located inside breakfast restaurant, There are buggies to drive you to and from your room or villa if you have mobility issues. Do not bring glass bottles or glass to the swimming pool. Any wait staff will give you a plastic mug or ”glass” to drink your beer or drink in the pool or at the pool. Please read the rules at pool entrance and follow them to keep yourself and others safe. The resort is mostly European people and everyone, young couples and older ones, singles, and all were cordial and respectful.

One of the best Boutique styled resorts I have stayed at anywhere. From the moment we arrived the front office staff and service were excellent and we were made to feel very much apart of the family. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the cocktails by their cute swimming pool were just perfect. The whole hotel has a very eco friendly and sustainable lifestyle vibe to it with lots of reclaimed woods and materials integrated into the simple yet pleasing interior design. A short 2 min walk sees you standing on the Beach overlooking on the most beautiful Vista's I have seen. A truly great experience. I highly recommend it.

This is a split review. The hotel is every bit as spectacular as it looks in the pictures. It’s built on what appears to be a giant sandbar coming out of the east coast of the island and is beautifully laid out with the restaurant at the tip to make breakfast and dinner a visual experience. The rooms are great and like most others suggest I would pay up for the beachfront so you can get the best of nature and especially sitting outside for the slow sun rise if you’re an early bird like me. The hotel is located perfectly - a 2 minute walk from the village. Thereafter everything becomes a bit difficult and it’s like the hotel is battling to take away from you what it has given with the surroundings. The shower is barely more than a trickle and is annoying because you need 3 or 4 per day with the heat and sand. The breakfast is awful - too spicy, covered in flies, overcooked or soggy and old. Note though that the evening restaurant is excellent. They charge to use their bikes and kayaks. Don’t do that Silvalai, it’s cheap. There’s not enough water in the room so you are compelled to buy the premium brands. They have 3 shops but I’ve never seen any of them open. The pools are lined with plastic not tiles. There’s quite a lot of rubbish lying around on the pier-side walk to the village. Koh Mook is a great place to spend 3 or 4 days and if you do come Silvalai is the best option, and I enjoyed it, but they are several tweaks away from being a top resort in my opinion.

While we had a nice stay at Sevenseas Resort, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed. This is in my view not in any way a 4 star resort - and not value for money when considering the price! I stayed 3 nights with 2 friends. The hotel is quite worn and could definitely need an update. The third bed in our the room was a mattress on the floor, and when we arrived there was no mosquito net covering this bed. This was however fixed on the second day after we alerted the reception. However, the interior of the room was simply not convenient in any way. It was mostly made up by a huge king size bed (very comfortable), but there was no place put any stuff or your suitcase. The outdoor bathroom was almost the same size as the room, and here was put the wardrobe, but really, in such a humid heat, we had no wish to put our clothing out in the humid bathroom. So really not a smart design of the rooms. We heard that the beachside villas are nicer and more updated. The area of the hotel is indeed nice, right on the beautiful beach, you have an option to rent snorkeling equipment or kayaks/SUPs, and with plenty of sunbeds to lounge on. The restaurant was so-so, food was ok, but nothing special I'm afraid, and we ended up having our meals in restaurants in other resorts on the island. Lastly, while the staff were all very friendly, smiling and accommodating, the service level was quite off, it's like there was missing some efficiency and management, as if each staff had his or her task, and they would never stray away from that. So for example, there could be dirty and empty dishes sitting on tables in the restaurant for extremely long, because the two waiters who were just standing looking at their phones clearly were not tasked with cleaning up tables, and the guy who did that was not there... And in the morning, there was one filter coffee machine, extremely slow, for all those guests... So overall, while a nice hotel and beautiful surroundings, I was disappointed and would not call this a 4 star hotel.

Koh Jum, the journey may be inconvenient .. But it's not difficult During this time, the car around the boat may be a little less (for people who want to travel by public transport, have to check the round of the car to and from).
// In case of chartering a car from the airport to the pier, 1 hundred baht //
The beach here has a lot of rocks. Will not be suitable for water activities If you come in a good time The water does not rise high, you can walk along the beach for a long time.
From getting information, shops, restaurants, the whole island will open no later than 8.00 p.m. for accommodation, overall okay .. It may be difficult to enter and exit the resort (having to wait for the car of the accommodation to pick up. The access road will be Din Daeng and is a groove that requires driving skills)
The resort room can see the sea clearly from the bedroom. It is a very good lecture.
// Recommended .. People who want to stay Check the good travel time. Including the weather When the tide is up and down ... //
For the accommodation
I want you to add safety The lock of the door and window is a little better. Breakfast, including the menu, there are still few options .. I recommend that try a promotion that picks customers from the airport, get on the boat until the accommodation. It's a little difficult. May get a wider group of customers
Thank you.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.

Amazing hotel, staff are very attentive, the beach and pool areas are well maintained. Good selection of restaurants on site, however some menus are a little limited.
Hotel is very secluded meaning a boat ride is required to access pretty much anything out with the resort. There are a few local businesses just outside the resort where we ate most nights.

The hotel is very big, there is a rambutan tree in the yard, there is also an unknown fruit tree, the hotel picks the fruit from the tree to entertain the guests, it is too kind. The environment inside the hotel is very good. The hot spring river flows through it, and there is a hot spring waterfall on the opposite bank. I saw a few fireflies near the river at night, which is really a pleasant surprise. The water in the hot spring pool is warm, hot and especially hot. The water is always flowing, very clear, and there are few people. We often charter. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the prices are fair. The disadvantage is that there is a dirt road before arrival, which is really difficult to drive.

GGuest UserOne of the best stays I've had the pleasure of experiencing! The rooms were tidy, spacious and very nice, with water bottles being brought to you every morning. I loved how comfortable the bed was, and I can't think of anyway how the room could have been better. Additionally the people running the place are some of the loveliest people I've ever met, particularly the owner/person at the front desk, Win. I really enjoyed chatting with Win, and he was one of the most attentive and helpful people I have ever met. He also helped me out with renting a scooter, which made my stay in Koh Lanta even more enjoyable. It was always nice to walk in or out of the hotel, as there was always a group of kids watching tv on the couch, who really created a cozy atmosphere, or the owner was there smiling and asking how your day has been so far. I was there for only 4 nights, but could have easily stayed for many more, and I was sad to leave the place. I really really could not recommend this place enough, and will try to visit it again someday, even to just greet Win.
SSteveyyyp_43We had a fantastic stay at Long Beach Chalet! Our lagoon pavilion room was beautiful and the perfect place to relax. For my girlfriend's birthday, the staff surprised us with a card and decorations in the room, which made her entire day!
The resort itself offered a lot. We enjoyed watching the fire dance show on Saturday night, and it was amazing to see hermit crabs scuttling along the beach at sunset. The pool was a great place to chill out and soak up the sun.
We also enjoyed renting moterbikes to see what lanta had to offer, as well as visiting the amazing Lanta Animal Welfare charity during our stay.
The breakfast buffet was incredible! There was a huge variety of options, including cereals, juices, fruits, breads, and hot meals. Everything was fresh and delicious. However, a word of caution for vegans like myself, or anyone with allergies: the soy milk they offer contains dairy.
Please can I requested that the management label ingredients more clearly and offer a non-dairy milk option, as there currently aren't any plant-based milks available. Also the vegan tofu burger should not automatically come with cheese or an egg based mayo. This is not vegan and can cause some confusion.
Despite this minor point, we absolutely loved our stay at Long Beach Chalet. The value was fantastic, and the staff were exceptional. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway!
GGuest UserRawi Warin Resort in Thailand hosted our destination wedding, and we were thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. As a couple from different countries who met in a foreign land but now reside together, we sought an intimate wedding with 33 guests. Rawi Warin stood out among the 20 resorts we researched on Krabi/Ko Lanta due to its remarkable beauty and elegant ambiance, ultimately leading us to book our wedding there. Throughout the planning process, the resort's communication was frequent and efficient, ensuring all our queries were promptly addressed. Upon our arrival three days before the wedding, we were struck by the well-maintained gardens, picturesque pond, and exquisite buildings, all of which contributed to the resort's appeal. The resort staff was undoubtedly the highlight of our experience, displaying genuine warmth and hospitality. They consistently greeted us with smiles and ensured our needs were met throughout our, and our guests stay. Rawi Warin's wedding package included essential elements such as decor, flowers, stationery, a wedding officiant, wedding cake and a wedding coordinator, making the planning process more streamlined. While an outdoor wedding was not possible due to weather conditions, the resort efficiently transitioned to an indoor setting, which turned out to be equally enchanting. The attention to detail in the wedding arrangements and the quality of service provided by the staff exceeded our expectations. The resort's pool was also a standout feature, and the surrounding natural beauty added to the overall allure. Our heartfelt appreciation goes out to Rawi Warin and its dedicated team for their contribution to making our wedding a memorable occasion. We recommend the resort for couples seeking a picturesque destination wedding experience.
GGuest UserI stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with my girlfriend. Firstly the staff on the desk were very welcoming and collected our bags from the door and delivered them to our room. We were given a welcome drink on arrival and the check in process was effortless and very efficient. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The pool and beach were a 2 min walk from our door and the beach restaurant serves excellent food. There were no issues during our stay and I was able to rent a bike from the hotel reception which arrived in 5 mins which was also a very efficient service. After checking out a staff member dropped us to the pier where we continued our journey. Shortly after checking out the manager of the hotel (never got his name) emailed me to say I had managed to leave my €300 camera behind in the room. He rang me to organise how to get the camera back to me and went to the effort of bubble wrapping, and boxing up my camera to be delivered to Koh Phi Phi on the same day and rang me during each stage to keep me in the loop as to where my camera is. Once the camera arrived on the island he rang me to tell me where I was able to collect it. This level of customer service cannot go unrecognised and he asked for nothing in return. I can’t urge travellers enough to stay in this hotel. I will be returning 100%. Thank you very much Lanta Staff & Manager!
GGuest UserThe two villas with sea view are in any case recommended. Beautiful, relatively clean, reasonably equipped but relatively expensive. The bathroom or the shower hangar in the shower area are rather tasteful. The breakfast buffet is almost enough in our case, but it still has enough air upwards. For example, there are no cakes, etc. The staff is mostly friendly and very premature. Excitingly, the wonderful beach and sea access. Conclude: beautiful resort and probably not the last time here
GGuest UserWe had such a good stay at the hotel before that we came back again this time when we were visiting Koh Lanta for diving. We can't comment on the breakfast as we didn't include this option.
- Staff are very nice and friendly.
- Really listen to feedback - last time I had suggested water dispensers to save on plastic, when we returned for this trip (only 2 weeks later) there was now one on each floor! This was amazing to see and I'm so glad the hotel is taking steps to be more eco friendly, so thank you!
- The room was much bigger than it looks, and has a large desk with a chair.
- Strong, reliable WiFi.
- Very clean.
- On our previous trip, we were able to check in early at no extra cost which we really appreciated :)
- Room includes a fridge.
- Very close to a 7-eleven and a few restaurants, although we didn't go to that particular stretch of beach it is also close to a beach, located in a more quiet area in the centre of the island making it easy to visit the north and south (but, the location does require you to have a motorbike to get around!).
- Good, strong air con.
- Value for money is very good.
The only negative during our stay was that at one point my boyfriend's shoes were nowhere to be found in the lobby, (as per Thai culture, you must leave them outside before entering the guest house), and it turned out another guest / neighbour had 'borrowed' them. Luckily they had only gone to the shop and so we weren't without the shoes for long, but it still wasn't ideal... Not the fault of the owner, but perhaps a sign requesting people to not do this? Overall though, we had a great stay and would definitely come back if we visit Koh Lanta again!
This is our 3rd time visiting Chada, but its been 4 years since our last visit having read the reviews I was a little nervous of what to expect. We were given an extremely warm welcome back from the staff especially from the manager Anong who was absolutely delightful and checked in with us throughout our trip. The location is amazing on the beautiful Khlong Dao beach with lots of bars and restaurants on the sea front to choose from. The pool is lovely, the rooms are great and breakfast was also good. We travelled with our twin girls who are 9 and I would definitely recommend it
Ssobrowneyes90Such a cool place to stay. The staff were so friendly when we stayed & let us change to the air conditioned bungalow with only a small upcharge, which was totally fair and very cheap. Very clean with a little patio with a hammock. They provide bottles of water in the room as well as towels & toiletries. The have a water dispenser so you can easily top up water, offer laundry service, gasoline if you have a bike/car and also snorkeling gear. 5 min walk to a beautiful beach & close to so many authentic restaurants. The only place i would want to stay if i return to Koh Lanta! Thankyou :)
GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a stunning location. The views are simply amazing. It is noticeable that the hotel has remnants of its former luxury, that it is ancient and has not been in operation for a long time. But the ratio of the price ($50 per night) with the service and the opening views of the island and the sea - only covers its shortcomings in the form of tired furniture. The choice of food is not very large, but we are not a picky customer. We were satisfied with everything, including breakfast included in the price and separate dishes that we ordered for lunch and dinner.
The staff is very friendly and fulfilled every request.
The downside is that there is no swimming beach, but after walking 1 kilometer along the beach, we realized that there are no ideal beaches on this side. And all the five hotels that were along the road are suffering just as much as we are, only the price is higher there.
Another minus is that the room we chose near the pool is high up and it’s hard to climb up the steps into it, but this effort is rewarded with a mesmerizing view from the room or the pool.
We spent most of the time at the pool, because... Swimming on the beach is not very comfortable. But I think that we are lucky, because... we were alone there. Completely alone, there were only 5 people in the hotel, together with us, and we saw other people a couple of times. It was gorgeous, chilling in the pool with the coolest views of other islands and watching the birds fly from tree to tree.
Weather, see, beach perfect. If you are looking for calm vacation, Lanta is good choice. In Nakara: room very nice, cleaning so, so. Tea pot in the room to make coffee or tea during the day. Deckchairs are not on the beach, which is not a problem for me. But to find a free deckchair later in the day was quite a task. But it is also because of the guests who are not using the deckchair, only occupy them by putting towels on them. Hotel massage in the open space was great!!! It is a must! i went every other day. Cheaper than other massages on the beach. Breakfast very average. Nothing to make your day. I would expect more fruit - every day the same: watermelon, pineapple, small local banana, no papaya. Fruit juice very instant. Around a lot of restaurants on the beach and on the main street. Prices more or less the same. I would recommend sticky rice and mango. Garlic and pepper, chicken and cashew nuts, classical curry dishes were OK. Otherwise I have not eaten anything that would surprise me.
