"Best location. Nice and interesting building. Good room, but facing alley - loud talking people at night and an occasional motorcycle. IMPECCABLE service and attention, smiling and doing their best for perfection. Hotel offers a free guided tour at 7 am. Receptionist botched my wakeup call, but they arranged an afternoon one. Two suggestions: Put one of the complementary water bottles in the fridge, so arriving guest can have a cold drink. Have guests register the day before for the tour."

"Just ended a pleasant 4-day stay at The Renai. I booked a mini suite but, due to a lock malfunction, I was moved to a larger suite, which was a lovely and unexpected upgrade. The rooms, like the hotel overall, was clean, well maintained and modern. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom functional, clean and adequately stocked with the necessities. Wifi worked well most of the time, but the connection was spotty a couple of times. The buffet breakfast covered a wide range of diets and was sumptuous to get the day going. The buffet lunch was also extensive. Koffee Junction (adjacent to and owned by the hotel) was a nice place for a relaxed meeting with friends. Staff members were uniformly friendly without being intrusive or obsequious. Hotel location was conveniently close to a Metro station and only a short drive from Amrita Hospital and shopping areas. Won't hesitate to stay at The Renai should I return to Kochi."
