"Bardzo miły pobyt, mieszkanie było urocze, nowoczesne i czyste. Mieliśmy własną saunę, którą mój mąż docenił, Jestem bardziej fanem pary. Zostaliśmy tutaj z pakietem Canterbury, który był magiczny, ale tak bardzo zmęczony, chcielibyśmy z wątpliwości wrócić, ale na dłuższy czas i sortować nasze własne działania, więc nie jest tak pełne. Zdjęcie IV dodane przez mojego syna spającego niespokojnie w krzesle czekając na jego husky jazdy o sumie to 😂 Nie mogę nawet opisać uczucia pobytu tutaj, spacerując do gór śniegu i jazdy na narciarskim ośrodku, Kabina restauracji miała wspaniałe jedzenie, czasami walczyłeś o stół, choć, śniadanie wewnątrz samego kurortu (jeść gdzie indziej na śniadanie) było mnóstwo stołów i wybór żywności był ogromny, kochałem porridge. Miło było mieć wszystkie tradycyjne jedzenie, które były smaczne, wypełnione i ciepłe, co jest to czego potrzebujesz i pragnie ze wszystkim śniegiem. Mieszkanie było świetnym domem z domu, trzeba pić wody kropelki, najlepsze i tak zimne! Mieszkanie miało wszystko, czego potrzebowałeś, a nasze chłopcy żyli wysokiego łóżko bunkowe, które łatwo spały 2 dzieci, TV był rozczarowaniem, myślę, że było tylko jeden angielski Kanał, ale na szczęście wifi był dobry. Również nie dowiedzieliśmy się, dopóki nie wyjechaliśmy na pociągu do domu, że z tego hotelu można dostać narciarski windę wprost do wsi Ruka! Byliśmy wygubieni, że przegapiliśmy to tak byłoby niesłusznie zrobić to następnym razem! Nie wahaj się o rezerwację tutaj, świetna lokalizacja, pokoje i jedzenie, bardzo luksusowe."

"This hotel was the perfect spot to stay in Ruka! Very close to the lifts, boarding was sick! Never been that cold in my life, I’m a born and raised Texan but it sure was fun to experience it. Very comfortable room for my friends and I. Great bar and restaurant downstairs! Staff was very friendly. I did leave my goggles and would love to get them back if possible, I sent an email but haven’t heard back. Other than that, loved the stay and would definitely stay there if I ever find myself in Ruka again. "

"Friendly staff, contacted us on our way to ask for our time of arrival. Because it was getting late the lady fixed us soup and bread. Not a lot of space to put stuff, but that was all clearly in our description. Cosy bed and very comfortable. It’s so big you can’t find your partner at night. We could choose our breakfast in advance. All we asked was freshly made and baked. No wifi in the iglo, only in the main building. But I think if you ask for it, they can fix you something."

Hotel Royal Ruka ★★★

"we shared at the Royal Ruka as part of a package holiday visiting lapland. we stayed for three nights/4 days. The hotel is set in a gorgeous location and very much has scenic and beautiful views of the valley it is situated in, particularly as there had been huge dump of snow the night before we arrived. Considering the carnage that multiple young families can inflict on a hotel, the Royal Ruka's staff took it all in their stride and offered a wonderful clean and well catered experience. The food was a mix of Finnish staples mixed with simple dishes like chicken nuggets and chips for the children. The rooms were clean and tidy, warm and with an inbuilt heated cabinet for drying the various snow suits etc we needed for our trip. All told, id like to thank all of the staff at the Royal Ruka, its a quality establishment that is clearly well loved by its owners."

"We had a family room with a bunk bed that was too small for a 15-year-old. I suspected the chambermaid was on leave herself. She only visited us once in five days, even though we had filled out the form at reception indicating we wanted room cleaning. We had to request fresh towels ourselves at reception. Breakfast was good; it had everything you'd expect. Dinner was also fine, delicious, and the service was friendly."

"There are good and bad points to this place. we really liked the location. It’s a nice spot not far from the frozen lake and ski lifts and a short walk into the main village. Really peaceful and pretty surroundings. What we liked in our apartment- We really enjoyed having an open fire and the sauna was nice. We had access to sledges which was a great bonus and there was also an endless supply of wood for the fire. In our apartment we also had two toilets which was good. The wifi was good and the apartment was always very warm What we didn’t like -: Our apartment could do with quite a bit of tlc! It felt quite dated and old and we had broken units locks not working screws hanging out of handles and the units in the bathroom were rundown with chunks missing out of the cupboard doors etc and the apartment felt quite small. There wasn’t much space for clothes. This is our second stay in Ruka and we really love the resort and would visit again but choose a different accommodation. It didn’t come close to where we stayed on our previous visit sadly."
