Hotele w: Nanping Pedestrian Street, Kunming

We literally walked into a “time travel” place back to ancient house equipped with modern facilities, the host was extremely courteous, friendly and very helpful too, they led and help us with our luggage from where were dropped off by Didi driver the nearest point before the pedestrian street of the ancient town starts. The hotel is located with the ancient town and a short walk from the famous 金馬Square at where modern buzzing commercial centres located in Kunming. Good place to stay for the experience of an ancient “house” with good breakfast, facilities and friendly host.

The hotel receptionists, as well as the owner and his wife, are all incredibly friendly and welcoming Sichuanese people. The facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing, which is very effective. The room itself is spacious and well-appointed, featuring a full smart home system. I particularly appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing two pillows—one high and one low—allowing guests to choose their preference. This attention to detail, combined with its proximity to the train station, makes it a top choice.

Choosing Atour for my Kunming trip was definitely the right call! The location is absolutely perfect. It's right in the city center, and just 50 meters downstairs is the 900-year-old Kunming Old Street. Nanping Street, Nanqiang Night Market, and Shuncheng Shopping Mall are all within walking distance. You can easily grab all sorts of local Yunnan snacks and flower souvenirs, and the whole area just buzzes with life. It's only 200 meters from Wuyi Road subway station, and a few minutes by taxi to places like Cuihu Lake and the Military Academy, making travel to and from the train station and airport super convenient. Tourists really don't have to worry about getting around at all. What surprised me most was how peaceful it was despite being in a bustling area. Downstairs, the commercial district is lively, but once you close your room door, the soundproofing is excellent, and you won't be disturbed at all when sleeping at night. The room hygiene was impeccable. There's a fresh air system throughout the room, a wet/dry separated bathroom, and standard 'naked cotton' bedding and Deep Sleep Pro pillows – after a long day of traveling, lying down was incredibly relaxing. The 65-inch screen-mirroring TV, mini-fridge, and smart toilet were all fully equipped. The natural light was great, and the space felt spacious and not at all cramped. The breakfast buffet was truly impressive. They had all sorts of Yunnan specialties like freshly made rice noodles, tofu pudding, soy milk, and Ersi (rice noodles), with a rich variety of dishes. Plus, they even let you pack food to go if you're in a hurry. The hotel also offers complimentary self-service laundry facilities with an iron, a small gym, and free parking for those driving. The front desk service was gentle and thoughtful. Check-in was fast, and they proactively offered flower cakes and hot tea. They were also very patient and accommodating with requests like luggage delivery and late check-out. The attention to detail made me feel really at home. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kunming!

Hotel położony jest na górnym piętrze budynku przy ulicy Nanping. W pobliżu znajduje się centrum handlowe. Do starej ulicy jest zaledwie krótki spacer. Pokój jest czysty i wygodny, zamykany na hasło. Na 5 piętrze znajduje się również pralka i suszarka! Wszystkie murale na korytarzu, na którym znajdują się ręczniki papierowe, są urocze. Polecane 👍

Lokalizacja jest doskonała, około pięciu minut spacerem od wyjścia B ze stacji Wuyi Road. Trzeba jednak przejść przez kompleks mieszkalny i bardzo wąską uliczkę, co może być uciążliwe z bagażem. Pokój w stylu apartamentowym posiada kuchnię, oryginalnie wyposażoną w czajnik, urządzenie do gotowania ryżu i lodówkę. W razie potrzeby można wypożyczyć płytę grzewczą. Do dyspozycji Gości jest również pralka z detergentem do prania, co jest bardzo przydatne podczas prania. Łazienka ma oddzielne strefy mokre i suche, ale prysznic jest nieco mały.

Service was excellent as staff at Reception counter is able to understand English. Good customer attributes and with smiling and dedicated services. Even help me to fix problem on the coffee dispenser provided with compliments beside the reception counter. Location is strategic and near to Kunming. Room is extremely big and price is reasonable. Highly recommended. Will book again in my next trip

10/10 will book this hotel again in Kunming!! The location is right smack in the city centre, easy to get around to Nanpibg street by foot (10 mins walk), shuncheng shopping mall. A lot of eateries nearby, no need to worry about it. The hospitality of the staff is also amazing as well, making our stay unforgettable.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations! I experienced a high-quality environment and professional service. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and all the amenities were complete. The staff were polite, welcoming, and responsive to my needs very quickly. Overall, a fantastic stay, highly recommended!

Doskonały, mogę powiedzieć tylko dobre rzeczy o tym hotelu. Ma najlepsze łóżko w Chinach, bardzo dobre poduszki, bezkonkurencyjną lokalizację i doskonałą komunikację. Przechowali moją walizkę bezpłatnie przez prawie dwa tygodnie. Recepcjonista mówi po angielsku, co znacznie ułatwia koordynację. Pokój był czysty, przestronny i cichy (spałem bardzo dobrze). Chociaż nie ma wspaniałego widoku, ma bardzo dobre oświetlenie, co czyni go idealnym miejscem na dobry wypoczynek lub jako punkt wyjścia do zwiedzania miasta i okolic. Polecam w 100%. Doskonały stosunek jakości do ceny. Nie rezerwowałem śniadania, więc nie mogę się na ten temat wypowiadać, ale na pierwszym piętrze znajduje się restauracja z grillem, która jest zawsze pełna i wydaje się być dobra. Pościel i ręczniki były dobrej jakości, a łazienka była wolna od pleśni, co pokazuje, że dbają o szczegóły w sprzątaniu, co nie zdarza się w wielu hotelach. Zatrzymałem się na trzecim piętrze w pokoju naprzeciwko windy i Muxamas Hall (dźwiękoszczelne drzwi).

Incredible location! Right in the heart of the best street food spot in Kunming, surrounded by cute lantern-lit streets and boutique stores. The whole area is really walkable and close to key landmarks like Zhong’ai Lane. Hotel itself was grand and beautiful inside. Large rooms with an unbeatable view over the old town. Roof garden was also gorgeous. Would stay again!
