Hotele w: Dianchi Lake Scenic Area/ Sunac World, Kunming

The swimming pool is a great fun.. Perfect place for a short holiday. What impressed me the most is the cleaning lady. I hang my daughter’s swimming clothes at the balcony and couldn’t find it. I called to check if it fell to the room downstairs. The cleaning lady came to help.. when she finished work.. she dropped by to check:. And when she realized that I still couldn’t find it. She immediately asked for my daughter’s size and ordered for me.. when she delivered... I gave her money.. but she left it on the table. I didn’t see her again. she was so kind.

Place is a two-room apartment Homestay conveniently located near the Park 1903 Mall and Central Avenue, which is the main attraction around this area. If you are into designer (Coach, Boss etc) or sports brands (Adidas, Nike, etc) the 1903 mall offers a few selected Factory Outlets here. Anyway, the Homestay we stayed in has its pros and cons. Pros: Place is spacious and has most of the usual stuffs like 55” TV, washing machine, microwave oven, etc. There's also a convenience store right downstairs. Main point (again) is that it's strategically located. Cons: Place has a lot of mosquitos, has low lighting on the corridor (sensor lights), lift is super slow and the toilet basin only has cold ❄️ water.

Absolutely terrific experience with this hotel. Staff were warm and welcoming, catering to our needs. Breakfast was a great combination of western and Chinese. All organic free of pesticides. The environment was great close to the scenery with the park right outside and the cbd 10 minutes drive away. Would come back to stay again.

I seldom write reviews after a stay, but Hampton is the biggest exception! I recall walking into the reception and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. There was a counter where snacks and drinks were free to enjoy while waiting to check in, which was nice for my parents and my kids to settle down after a long flight. Moreover, the room was neat and tidy, where pillows were soft and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was one of our favourite sessions of the day, there were so many delicious options to choose from, both western and Chinese food are equally scrumptious. We were supposed to pay for our kids’ breakfast, but the management was so kind to let them have it for free for the whole stay! Additionally, the housekeepers really did a great job. They were so nice to bring us extra free bottles of water every day, as well as new towels and the room was always kept neat and fresh. The customer service lasted even after we requested for a late check out, they gave us free gifts (Beautiful Luggage Tags). Who could’ve asked for more honestly! Five Stars for sure!

Świetny B&B! Przede wszystkim, recepcja była naprawdę miła. Przekazali mi wskazówki bezpośrednio, kiedy nie mogłam ich znaleźć. Byli bardzo uprzejmi i pomocni, a nawet podali talerz owoców i jogurt (talerz owoców był pyszny, choć pomarańcze były trochę kwaśne). Hotel jest dogodnie położony tuż obok zapory Haigeng i parku Haigeng. Pokój był ciepły i przytulny, z ciepłym oświetleniem w całym pokoju. Lustro w łazience było duże, a strefy mokre i suche były wyraźnie oddzielone. Wszystko w pokoju było nowe i czyste, a w pralni dostępny był proszek do prania. Mój poprzedni hotel Shangri-La, który kosztował ponad 500 juanów, był równie komfortowy jak ten. To świetny stosunek jakości do ceny! ^_^ Szczególnie podobał mi się duży ekran projekcyjny! Był super (wcześniej zawsze było głośno). Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, myślę, że to idealne miejsce na pobyt ze znajomymi. To było wspaniałe doświadczenie.

This is a unique hotel that offers healing therapy classes that comes along with the accommodation package. I’ve attended the sound bath therapy class at 1pm and felt somewhat relax after the session. Throughout the day, we had a lot of rest in our room and can hear singing bowl music from outside in the late evening til night. For maximum relaxation, I booked a room that provides aroma diffuser and essential oil to promote good sleep. Room has Xiao Du AI to help with curtains opening/closing, weather forecast, news, alarm setting and music playing! Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy watching shows on projector screen as the projector seems to be faulty. We initially thought its just dead battery in remote control but after changing to new battery provided by the hotel staff, the ceiling projector still fails to turn on. We gave up troubling the staff and rest instead since our flight is late midnight. Breakfast is wide spread and offers both western and local food option. I like their porridge and it’s a good change from having daily Mi Xian from other hotels. They also offer special jujube type of fruits that I’ve never tasted before. In addition, they also offer afternoon tea buffet starting from 2pm which you can help yourself if you are still staying in the hotel during the afternoon. The only alarming thing is, we left the hotel with “Do not disturb” red light on + hang “do not disturb” tag on the door, but was shocked to see our room was tidied when we came back in the evening. China hotels do not seem to have safety box option as basic amenities, so we prefer not to get our room tidied but thankfully nothing valuable was lost. We didn’t tell the hotel since nothing was lost and our stay was short anyways. Overall, the staff service attitude is friendly and good but I hope they can respect customer’s privacy. If customer do not wish the room to be cleaned, please do not enter the room.

Every year for my annual leave, I go traveling, and this year I chose Kunming. I stayed at the Shanhaiyunjing Hotel, and it's truly the most atmospheric hotel I've ever experienced. The hotel's design is incredibly chic; it's like they've brought an entire art gallery right into a hotel by Dianchi Lake – it's absolutely stunning! As soon as you step into the lobby, you're embraced by minimalist artistry. The art installations in the corridors and the succulent landscaping are meticulously composed at every turn, making every snapshot a scenic view. The room offers fantastic views; you can lie in bed and see the Sleeping Beauty Hill. They even thoughtfully provided bath salts by the soaking tub. The butler proactively recommended a route for birdwatching the black-headed gulls, and even the breakfast featured Yunnan specialties like red rice and 'Er Si' (rice noodles). Staying here felt like living in a poetic landscape of mountains and seas. Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely choose this place again!

I saw the high ratings for this guesthouse online, so I decided to book it just to see, and as soon as I arrived, I knew I'd made the right choice! 🥰 The room and environment were exactly as pictured online. The owner and their family were all very kind, and the courtyard was beautifully maintained and spotless. Every picture I took turned out lovely. Stepping in, you immediately feel a refreshing vibe. The breakfast was amazing – a great variety, delicious, and even delivered to the room, which was just perfect! The location is also fantastic. There's a small gate next to the guesthouse that leads right to a food street. It's just a two or three-minute walk to Haigeng Dam, so it was lovely to stroll there after dinner 🐶. I'll definitely be back, and I've already recommended it to my friends. Thanks for the Pu'er tea, boss! 👍👍👍👍

首先，我作為一個酒店管理者，我要好好的評價一下這個酒店的老闆，人很親切，和善。房間很大，設施設備齊全，房間內有很多細節，漱口杯都有杯套，有準備的一次性馬桶墊，一次性浴缸套。還給朋友們升級了房間。這個位置離海埂大壩走路5、6分鐘很近，酒店提供電動車。住在這裏很安靜非常安靜。露台拍照很出片，非常nice的體驗

Service was good except for IHG check in which was rushed through by a female staff. There wasn’t even a queue behind us. The rest like concierge & restaurant staff were ok…patient. A concierge male staff helped me with my McDonald’s delivery because as a foreigner , I couldn’t use Mei Tuan for food delivery. He even offered to deliver to our room as we are seniors in our 60s. The photography package was fast and efficient. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the numerous restaurants outside and Dianchi.
