Hotele w: Dianchi Lake Scenic Area/ Sunac World, Kunming

Absolutely terrific experience with this hotel. Staff were warm and welcoming, catering to our needs. Breakfast was a great combination of western and Chinese. All organic free of pesticides. The environment was great close to the scenery with the park right outside and the cbd 10 minutes drive away. Would come back to stay again.

The swimming pool is a great fun.. Perfect place for a short holiday. What impressed me the most is the cleaning lady. I hang my daughter’s swimming clothes at the balcony and couldn’t find it. I called to check if it fell to the room downstairs. The cleaning lady came to help.. when she finished work.. she dropped by to check:. And when she realized that I still couldn’t find it. She immediately asked for my daughter’s size and ordered for me.. when she delivered... I gave her money.. but she left it on the table. I didn’t see her again. she was so kind.

This newly opened Ming Shu is located in a gated community that is within walking distance to the Haigeng Dam, where the seagulls are. It a a very safe and upmarket area. On the way there, you will pass by many cafes and restaurants serving local specialities. Service is 5 star ***** This Mingshu is a family business, with Mr Deng (see photo) at the helm, with his wife and sister-in-law. Therefore, the service is very personal, with them helping me to buy a luggage last minute. Front desk opens 24 hours. They are all very attentive and helpful. They do airport transfer for a fee and help with my luggage up the stairs. They provide some cakes and pastry with tea (see photo) everyday at the lobby. There is also a tea set for us to enjoy (see photo) in the room, as well as a massage chair in mine. The room itself is as shown in listing and it is very clean. It is a smart room with Xiao Ai voice system. The room has both air conditioning and heating. Overall, I am very happy with this Ming Shu and the service! Highly recommended to stay here!

I'm traveling around Asia for a few months, and most of my stays have been in 5-star hotels. This one is by far the best. It's newly built, the rooms are huge, and the interior design and quality are excellent. But the best part is the staff, they were all so helpful and made me feel right at home. Sometimes they had trouble with English, but that never stopped them from trying their best to help me during my stay. A special mention goes to Shirley at the front desk, she was incredibly helpful and professional. I'd love to have her on my business team. The staff here made me fall in love with Kunming and its people. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Kunming.

This is a unique hotel that offers healing therapy classes that comes along with the accommodation package. I’ve attended the sound bath therapy class at 1pm and felt somewhat relax after the session. Throughout the day, we had a lot of rest in our room and can hear singing bowl music from outside in the late evening til night. For maximum relaxation, I booked a room that provides aroma diffuser and essential oil to promote good sleep. Room has Xiao Du AI to help with curtains opening/closing, weather forecast, news, alarm setting and music playing! Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy watching shows on projector screen as the projector seems to be faulty. We initially thought its just dead battery in remote control but after changing to new battery provided by the hotel staff, the ceiling projector still fails to turn on. We gave up troubling the staff and rest instead since our flight is late midnight. Breakfast is wide spread and offers both western and local food option. I like their porridge and it’s a good change from having daily Mi Xian from other hotels. They also offer special jujube type of fruits that I’ve never tasted before. In addition, they also offer afternoon tea buffet starting from 2pm which you can help yourself if you are still staying in the hotel during the afternoon. The only alarming thing is, we left the hotel with “Do not disturb” red light on + hang “do not disturb” tag on the door, but was shocked to see our room was tidied when we came back in the evening. China hotels do not seem to have safety box option as basic amenities, so we prefer not to get our room tidied but thankfully nothing valuable was lost. We didn’t tell the hotel since nothing was lost and our stay was short anyways. Overall, the staff service attitude is friendly and good but I hope they can respect customer’s privacy. If customer do not wish the room to be cleaned, please do not enter the room.

Нам так понравилось что мы не хотели уезжать и продлили еще на 1 день. На 3 этаже огромна общая терраса, на которой можно попить чай и позагорать ) стиральная машина и сушилка, все в идеальном состоянии. От всей души рекомендую эти апартаменты ❤️

This hotel is absolutely outrageous! My friends and I stayed for three days, and each day brought a new and different problem. Day one upon check-in: ◆ The air conditioning in the room was broken. I don't even need to tell you how hot the Yunnan sun gets. Even with the AC on and curtains drawn, it felt like a steam room in the afternoon. By night, with the outdoor temperature at 24°C, it was still 26°C inside. ◆ We ordered room service, and the bowls they brought were dirty and unwashed. ◆ They advertised a gym, but half of the exercise equipment was broken. Day two: We came to this resort to relax, but housekeeping started knocking on our door at around 11 AM. And it wasn't just a quick knock; they kept pounding on the door relentlessly for several minutes until they literally woke us up! Day three: ◆ We requested two bottles of water from housekeeping. We called once, then again, but by the time we checked out, the water never arrived. ◆ For a room where a woman was staying alone, a male friend went to the front desk, and without any verification or confirmation with the guest in the room, they just made him a room key??! Compared to all that, the arrogant attitude of the staff wasn't even the main issue anymore.

The service was excellent—they even arranged a pickup for us, which was incredibly helpful. What really stood out was how kind and attentive everyone was, especially with our 5-month-old baby. When we needed assistance with getting our little one vaccinated, the staff helped us navigate everything smoothly. Their genuine care made a huge difference. The amenities were fantastic—having laundry service included was a lifesaver for us as traveling parents. We also enjoyed the free coffee and snacks available throughout the day, and the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. We also appreciated the hotel’s warm and safe atmosphere. The fact that the staff is mainly female added to the welcoming and comforting environment. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely return if we’re back in the area. 來之前最擔心圖片和實物不符，帶着寶寶怕踩坑。入住後完全放心了。 進門小朋友就被院子裏的金魚吸引，老闆馬上拿來魚食讓他喂，光是餵魚就開心了半小時。原本訂的是落地窗房間。老闆看到小朋友一直仰頭看星空圖案，主動幫我們升級了星空房，真的又驚喜又感動。 房間很舒服，安靜、空氣好，中午到店直接入住，一點沒折騰。帶娃出門最怕住宿踩雷，這次是旅途中的意外收穫，喂海鷗衹需要幾分鐘就到了。為昆明之行添了很多快樂。謝謝老闆的善意。 💛 最後想説我們在昆明遇到的這家民宿，恰好印證了一件事：親子游最好的體驗，往往不是“去了哪裡”，而是“被怎樣對待”。 寶寶記住的不是西山還是滇池，而是那個讓他喂金魚的爺爺，和躺在床上就能看見星星的房間。這種温暖的底色，會一直留在他對旅行的最初記憶裏。 ㊗️店主生意興隆。

Amazing hotel. Clean and modern. Staff is the best. So friendly, especially the young guy in front desk. He helped us with Didi and finding a good breakfast place place. Even walked with us to the restaurant. Beds are very comfortable, smells new and no cigarettes smoke. Highly recommend.
