Hotele w: The North Bund Area, Szanghaj

The location is convenient, right by the North Bund, and Raffles City is next door. The environment is great, and Coco is very helpful.

I stayed at this hotel first time, and unfortunately, my experience was far from perfect. The rooms were poorly maintained - on several occasions, I was given rooms with peeling walls and visibly dirty bed headboards. While I could overlook the walls, stained headboards are simply unacceptable for a hotel. To their credit, the hotel eventually upgraded my room after three complaints, but it shouldn’t take so many requests to get a clean, presentable space. The lobby (first floor) is stunning, with complimentary drinks and an elegant atmosphere. It set high expectations, but the rooms didn’t match - they felt neglected in comparison. I hope management pays more attention to room upkeep.

Niestety spa i inne udogodnienia w hotelu nie działają, więc trzeba było poszukać. Ale było to całkiem wygodne ze względu na bardzo dobrą nawigację dla turystów w sąsiedniej okolicy. Dzięki administracji lokalnej dzielnicy Tilanqiao, w przeciwieństwie do innych obszarów w Szanghaju, są tam wszystkie niezbędne znaki i katalogi, a wszystkie mają wersję angielską

To był mój drugi pobyt w hotelu Atour. Hotel jest dogodnie położony w pobliżu stacji metra. Ponieważ w pobliżu znajduje się wiele małych restauracji, nie zamówiłem śniadania hotelowego. Zamówiłem jedzenie na wynos, leżąc jeszcze w łóżku po przebudzeniu, i zostało ono dostarczone, zanim skończyłem zmywać. Lepiej byłoby, gdyby w pokoju była lampa podłogowa, która rozjaśniłaby pokój w pochmurne dni. Jeszcze lepiej byłoby, gdybym mógł zarezerwować pokój z tarasem. Nie jestem jednak pewien, czy jest on przydzielany losowo (mogłem o tym wspomnieć przy rezerwacji), czy też jest to specjalny rodzaj pokoju? Chyba nie zauważyłem tego podczas rezerwacji na Ctrip. Personel był bardzo przyjazny i szybko przynieśli dodatkowe krzesło, gdy poprosiłem. Jednak ponieważ nie znam hotelu Atour, nie wiedziałem, że nie ma dzwonka do drzwi i ledwo usłyszałem pukanie, ale nie zwróciłem na to uwagi; dlatego przepraszam za to, że kazałem personelowi czekać na zewnątrz tak długo.

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Changyang Road North Bund. The hotel is really centrally located and offers excellent value for money, especially for Shanghai. It is a newer property with high tech, modern finishes that feel very much like cutting edge Shanghai. Everything feels fresh, clean, and well thought out. Check in was smooth and easy, which is always appreciated after a long journey. A special shout out to Liyi Zhou and Jeri, who went over and above to assist me. They genuinely tried their best to help with an early check in ahead of my flight and also assisted me with my parcel. Their attitude and effort showed real customer service, and that kind of service deserves to be recognised. The only minor downside is that the food options are limited when it comes to Western-style breakfast items such as omelettes or scrambled eggs. That said, this is an Express property, so it is understandable and not a deal breaker. Overall, do not think twice. Book this hotel at a great rate with good service and a modern, comfortable stay.

I had to book a room last minute and stumbled upon this hidden gem along the Bund! Double rooms were scarce, so I lucked out. Public Areas & Lobby: The overall design embraces a sophisticated grey-black wabi-sabi aesthetic. Water features, fresh greenery, and a subtle fragrance create a neat and elegant lounge area defined by clean lines. The service quality is a huge plus; all staff members were friendly and polite, actively smiling and greeting you when you passed by. The attention to detail really made a great impression. Room Experience: The first thing that caught my eye upon entering was the glass bottle with a hydroponic Monstera plant – its lush roots and vibrant green leaves instantly soothed the summer heat. The room was spacious and tidy, with a well-designed bathroom featuring separate wet and dry areas. The vanity included disposable cotton towels, and all amenities were thoughtfully provided. The room also came with pour-over coffee, canned black tea, and the entire minibar was complimentary. The staff even prepared a custom scent and delivered it to the room in advance. The dual pillow setup catered to different preferences, with a firm neck support pillow offering excellent support and a soft pillow providing a cozy embrace, ensuring a very comfortable sleep experience. Dining | Afternoon Tea & Breakfast: The afternoon tea selection wasn't overly extensive, but every dessert, sandwich, mini-burger, and herbal jelly tasted carefully handmade. A full range of coffee and tea options were available. Breakfast completely exceeded my expectations! Asparagus with lily bulbs, celery with shrimp, short ribs, salmon, and freshly ground tofu pudding were all on offer. I was particularly impressed by the freshly cooked yellow croaker noodles. The broth had no artificial strong flavors; it was simply the pure, sweet freshness of a homemade slow-cooked fish soup, which I completely drank. Even the noodle station auntie had a gentle and pleasant demeanor. Location & Perks: Located in the heart of the North Bund, it’s within walking distance to Suzhou Creek and the Bund waterfront, making it perfect for city strolls. With the AI exhibition causing price surges on Friday, the room rate was just over 2,000 RMB. During the off-peak season, it's less than 2,000 RMB, which is excellent value for money given the prime location. The front desk also provided complimentary entry tickets to the adjacent bar, which could be exchanged for two specialty cocktails after 9:30 PM. You could even enjoy live music later in the evening – a thoughtful little bonus that was much appreciated.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it. First of all, the front desk staff were excellent. They were very attentive and kept checking on our needs, doing their best to accommodate all our requests. Their warm and proactive service really made us feel welcome. The room itself was bright, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean and thoughtfully arranged, which added to the overall positive experience. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. The only small drawback I would mention is the air conditioning system in the room. It only allows you to adjust the fan speed and set the timer, but you cannot control the mode (such as cooling or heating). The mode seems to depend on the day’s weather, which can be a bit inconvenient. Aside from this minor issue, everything else was great.

The location is only 5 minutes away from the dalian road metro station and we can ride a bike to the north bund. The front desk staff is also friendly and helpful. We can have coffee and tea in the lobby also water bottle. We really enjoyed our stay here. The room is also spacious. I will definitely stay here again next time

The hotel was very accommodating and conveniently close by to the subway station. When we first checked in, the chain lock on our door was broken, so we went down to inform the front desk and they immediately gave us a new room. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The only thing to note is that the area is quite local; there wasn’t any 7/11, Lawson, or Family Mart around the hotel. However, the closest 7/11 was conveniently located at the station, so we always bought supplies there on our way back home.

Pobyt był cudowny, a obsługa niezwykle pomocna i przyjazna. Byłem mile zaskoczony bezpłatną zmianą pokoju z pokoju bez okna na pokój z oknem, co sprawiło, że pobyt był jeszcze lepszy. Śniadanie było świetne i miało szeroki wybór, w tym stację ze świeżym makaronem. Dostawa jedzenia była również bardzo wygodna – robot dostarczał zamówienia prosto pod drzwi pokoju. Miłym akcentem były dwa bezpłatne, świeże i ciepłe napoje dostępne w lobby – idealne, żeby się rozgrzać w sezonie zimowym. Ogólnie rzecz biorąc, pobyt był naprawdę komfortowy i przyjemny.
