"Alpenhotel Karwendel is an absolute delight!! We stay in the Berglodge Apartments with direct access to the ski tracks and wonderful views of the valley and mountains. We eat in the hotel for the superb breakfast and evening meals. As we do not eat red meat there are always excellent options. After our morning skiing the 3/4 pension gives us the option for a lunch. The Wellness area with the infinity pool; comfort zones with mountain views and sauna is the place to relax and contemplate the peace. Aside from access to the Seefeld Region ski tracks there are many walks; and free bus services to Seefeld and Mittenwald. The staff are really friendly and very welcoming with lots of advice. "This was an excellent base for our family group taking our first 'steps' in langlauf skiing. A lovely apartment, clean and comfortable close to everything we needed - ski tracks, supermarket and restaurants. The proprietor, Martin, exceptionally welcoming and genuinely helpful. We couldn't find fault and hope to come back."

"Recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel when on a HF walking holiday. Everything about this hotel is superb from the rooftop infinity pool with spectacular views to the exceptionally good food at all meals. The high quality of all the produce used is evident and is expertly prepared. I can certainly say that it is the best hotel food I have had in recent years. Staff are friendly and helpful.
