Hotele w: Barkhor Street/Jokhang Temple, Lhasa

One of the best stayings in my 10 days trip in Tibet! Staff greets us with a warm ******* Herbal Tea with a welcoming scarf and warm towels to warm us up. Friendly staff was helpful and efficient during check in. Room was spacious and clean. More than enough quality amenities were supplied. Comfortable bed for good sleep and most importantly sufficient and steady oxygen can be supplied by the hotel. Humidifier was also one of the best we encountered throughout the whole trip. Absolutely loving the traditional Chinese style room and hotel design that doesn't look old school but authentic. Convenient location where accessible to everywhere! Highly recommend!!

I booked this hotel for a three day stay and had an amazing time. The front desk staff and the third-floor restaurant team were incredibly kind, sweet, polite, and respectful. The food was not only super delicious but also reasonably priced. The bathroom and blankets in the room were all spotlessly clean. It’s absolutely worth a visit – I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Lhasa who’s struggling to pick a place to stay. You won’t regret booking here.

Śniadanie było codziennie inne i oferowało szeroki wybór dań. W szczególności recepcjoniści byli niezwykle serdeczni i uprzejmi. Kiedy zauważyli, że cierpimy na ciężką chorobę wysokościową, natychmiast podali nam glukozę, a nawet pomogli nam zanieść bagaże do pokoju. Serdecznie dziękujemy recepcjonistom!

I stayed for four days, so here are my impressions. Check-in: The staff were very welcoming at first, offering hot tea and trying to upsell me by scanning a QR code to upgrade to a premium membership. Since I mainly use Ctrip, I declined, and their attitude immediately turned sour. Over the next few days, most staff greeted guests, but there were exceptions. Accommodation: The room was very dusty. Because I'm allergic to dust mites, my nose and eyes started itching shortly after checking in. Atour's air conditioning has a peculiar wake-up call service: The air conditioner occasionally made strange noises during the day, but this wasn't a big problem (I have video evidence, which I can provide if needed). The most absurd thing was that on the day of departure, at 5 AM, the air conditioner started making strange noises, earlier than my 6 AM alarm! This was probably an extra service; thank you Atour for the thoughtful wake-up call! The room was well-stocked with water and toiletries, and the room cleaning staff deserve praise! The bedding was a bit firm; my friend and I prefer softer bedding, so it wasn't very comfortable. Laundry: I used it once. While the clothes were drying, I left a note asking the staff to retrieve them. They did put them in a bag, but the clothes were still damp when they were put in the bag, including a pair of thick jeans. Hotels I've stayed at before would tumble dry the clothes again, which might be an extra service. This Atour didn't offer that, but they did put them in a bag for me. Generally, it's fine for a one- or two-day stay. If you're looking for better service, you might need to check out a few more hotels.

Hotel z gustem, budynek jest historyczny, raczej raczej rekomendowany. Hkd 1xx/noc. PS: 1. Zaleca się wejście do Lassy trzeciego dnia, albo w samotności bez reakcji górskich, a schody są wyzwaniem. 2. na północny wschód od Bath Street, w miejscu połączenia napisano ”Eksperymental Primary Schools Police Station”. 3) Pokój bez wody, kupować; łazienkę bez ogrzewania, ale w pokoju jest ogrzewacz, a w łóżku jest podkładka.

This hotel is located right next to the entrance of Barkhor Street and Jokhang Temple, close to shopping and transportation to other places in Lhasa, so the location is perfect. The service is the most impressive, my hotel room was facing the street and there was a loud speaker shouting all day and all night, I had to complaint to the hotel staff even though the speaker was not part of the hotel. They immediately negotiated with the the relevant people, and offered to switch my room to face away from the street. Also the hotel staff helped me to reserve the critical sites and train. I cannnot be more thankful for their help. The room was big and they cleaned every day, they did a good job cleaning the room. The onsite laundry facility was helpful too since I cannot affort to pay for laundry service. All in all, I am very happy with the stay, and will return again if I come back to Lhasa.

As someone sensitive to high altitude, their **nasal oxygen supply** was a *literal lifesaver*, helping me adjust comfortably. The **morning breakfast** was a delightful experience, with fresh ******* bread, warm tea, and eggs served with a **panoramic mountain view** that made every meal unforgettable. The hostel even **customized my food** to accommodate dietary preferences—a rare and thoughtful touch! I was especially grateful for their **willingness to fulfill special requests**. When I asked for a room with the famous **”Potato Field View”** (a charming landscape of terraced fields), they happily arranged it without hesitation. The room was clean, cozy, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the scenery. What truly stood out was their **dedication to foreign guests**—whether explaining local customs, helping with travel plans, or simply sharing stories over tea. The atmosphere was **both peaceful and social**, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers. If you're visiting Tibet, **this hostel is a must-stay**—comfort, care, and stunning views all in one! **10/10 experience.** -

Bosses and staff were caring with my altitude sickness. Great, friendly and convenient services like laundry for free at the rooftop with a beautiful view on the Potala Palace, helping out with food orders & car pick-ups and drop-offs, various trip arrangements, luggage storage and so on. The hotel has a nice authentic architecture with a big lounge area and cool temperature inside. They have a heating blanket, humidifier and if needed, also oxygen. Located just off the main road which offers quiet sleep at night. Surrounded there are eateries, fruit shops and nice traditional alleys to walk to both well-known and local places. I extended my stay and returned for another night after a trip.

Friendly staff and the big fluffy dog was the best part. Walking distance from Potala Palace which was nice
