Comfortable rooms and small garten with many details. Delicious breakfast and also western style food in the restaurant. We would like to come back!

The best stay I’ve had in my 10days yunnan trip! Most eco friendly hotel I’ve came across in China and staff were friendly and welcoming. Hope to be back!

Bivou is a charming establishment located very accessibly near one of the entrances to Shu he. The team is super warm, hospitable and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend!

Had the best time at this hotel. The food, the service, the rooms were all outstanding. Special shout out to Martin, Nomi and Jieru who made our stay extra special. I would love to come back and stay again!

Very pleasant & cozy stay. Located in the Shuhe Ancient Town and very close to the north gate. Hotel is very well maintained and attentive to all the little details. All staff are very nice and foods are good.

What can I say that's not already said.Choosing Bivou was the Best Choice for this trip for us.Having stayed in 2 places prior.Hands down the crown goes here. Location:Close to the North Gate of Shuhe Old Town.Arrange for baggage pick up once u reach the gantry.Someone from housekeeping will come over in their 3 wheel cart.Saves u from dragging thru cobbled streets.We arranged transfer from Lijiang train station so the driver called them once we reached. Reception:it's located in the same place as the cafe/restaurant. Aesthetically pleasing space,well designed and so cosy.Here we met Hwee Ling n Nor Mee (spelled as close to how it sounds ,pardons my attempt.)And what a reception.We felt so welcomed .Hwee Ling is I believe the proprietress and from Singapore. Ever so willing to share her knowledge of Lijiang n Bivou to us first timers.Lovely lady. Room:We stayed in a family room on the 2nd level and it's the warmest we've stayed in our whole stay in Yunnan. There's even a warmer in the shower.First I've seen.That is a godsend in cold weather condition. Food:Breakfast is from 8am to 10.30am.May is the person in charge and she too continue Bivou's legacy of fantastic service.In fact everyone here is so fantastic we hav already made plans to go back one time permits. If you are torn between choosing a few places.This might sway yr decision.An experience that will make u come back. Says a lot.Cheers

Beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Lijiang Shuhe Ancient Town. The staff were so friendly and helpful—we loved chatting with them about local attractions, culture, and hiking recommendations! The rooms were beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and included amazing handmade soap and lip balm! The food was incredible—we especially loved the rice noodles and the farm fresh breakfast! The gardens and grounds were spectacular. The owner came and talked with us about her experiences in Yunnan and recommended places to visit. We can’t wait to come back with the whole family!

The epitome of a great boutique hotel: beautiful exterior, modern/comfortable interior, great service, nice food, attentive staff, attention to details, interesting activities/programs, nice location, etc. My 3rd time stay!

Very nice hotel in the beautiful old town of Shuhe, which values proximity to nature and ecological management. We were warmly welcomed and during our stay we felt to be in good hands.
