Our room was incredible. We had our own balcony. The dinner was delicious and Maria and Franco were incredibly nice and welcoming, even giving us a ride to and from the port. I only wish I had gotten a chance to stay longer and swim in the pool! I look forward to staying here again.

The hotel is very well maintained and spotlessly clean. At breakfast they offer a variety of food both sweet and savory and they cook eggs on request. The pool area is very quiet, at lunch is possible to eat there and both the service and the food are very good. Rooms are a bit small but with a nice balcony and anyway you don't spend much time there. It's located on the far end of the town compared to the port so you need to walk a bit if you don't have a car or other transportation mean but if this doesn't bother you, you get a lot of peace and tranquillity. Maria is a very efficient owner and runs the hotel with a lot of skills!

Amazing structure and staff! The owner gave us a lift to the centre because we were late for the dinner. Breakfast brilliant and pool amazing!!! Transfer from the port included…….. …Highly recommended- we will definitely come back there!

Amazing hotel, in a very quiet area surrounded by nature. The staff is attentive and professional, the rooms are big and with every comfort, the restaurant is excellent. The hotel has a wonderful garden with a pool that has a little jacuzzi area and is 10 mins walking to the main beaches of the island, 20 to the town and Harbour. I would recommend this place and I will definitely come back the next time I am in Vulcano!

Ormai siamo clienti dell'Orsa Maggiore da diversi anni. Lo standard è sempre all'altezza delle aspettative. Il Sig. Rodolfo e la Sig.ra Maria conducono la struttura (recentemente rinnovata) con discrezione e sicurezza. La cucina di Rodolfo è genuina (orto adiacente) e di ottimo livello. Franco coordina e gestisce la sala con precisione. Per noi il soggiorno all'Orsa Maggiore è un punto fisso dell' estate.

Abbiamo soggiornato per presso la suite di questo hotel assieme al nostro cagnolino di piccola taglia che è stato accolto con piacere. Camera spaziosa, luminosa e molto curata, letto comodo, terrazza ampia vista vulcano, bagno confortevole e pulitissimo nel quale avevamo a disposizione anche comodissimi accappatoi. Cena ottima presso il ristorante con pesce fresco e menu differente ogni sera. Personale davvero disponibile ed ospitale. Sicuramente torneremo!

L’hotel è stato una bella scoperta, vicino alla spiaggia della sabbie nere, la migliore di Vulcano, ma un po’ distante dal centro, però se siete abituati a camminare si può fare. Pulito e confortevole, ottima colazione e piscina pulita senza limiti di orario x l’utilizzo. L’unica cosa le camere un po’ antiquate, hanno ristrutturato i bagni ma il resto è un po’ datato, letto scomodo.

Hotel molto curato. La nostra stanza era veramente carina e dotata di un bellissimo terrazzo con vista piscina e, lateralmente, il cratere. L'Hotel dispone di una bellissima piscina bene organizzata che comprende un dispenser di acqua a disposizione degli ospiti. Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana usufruendo spesso del ristorante interno dell'Hotel mangiando ottimi primi e ottimo pesce fresco. Il personale di sala è molto gentile e preparato. Particolare menzione per le ragazze della reception sempre sorridenti e gentili. Infine la posizione dell'hotel è molto comoda per raggiungere la rinomata spiaggia "Sabbie Nere".

è stata una bella permanenza, abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana in cui abbiamo potuto provare più volte l'ottima cucina dell'hotel sia a pranzo a bordo piscina che a cena in sala. Ci hanno colpito molto la professionalità della signora Maria, la disponibilità di Rodolfo e la gentilezza di Franco che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno un'esperienza rilassante e piacevole. Stupenda la piscina con l'area idromassaggio. La struttura è situata in una zona tranquilla dell'isola immersa nella natura. La camera è risultata comoda e la pulizia ottima. Speriamo di ritornare presto
