"The good bits: Beautiful location Great sunsets Plenty of places inside and out to relax. Michelin star taster menu in a beautiful location, fabulous cuisine plus fun at the end when the chefs created your personal dessert from ingredients at the Chefs’ table. Amazing choice at breakfast Fantastic hike to the crater The town has a lovely relaxed and local vibe We had a very relaxed lunch at a beach bar and had dinner in town one night. The disappointing bits We were left waiting at the port for the hotel mini bus to pick us up and when it arrived and wasn’t particularly smart and the seat belts were not working. At the end of the stay the minibus went off to the port with our luggage but without us while we were settling our bill. The mini bus is only complementary if you go when the bus is already scheduled to go. It there is not a specific schedule they can share with you. Outside of this schedule it’s 10 euros. There is nothing in the rooms or around the hotel to promote the hotel services eg spa facilities, local information and things to do: you have to keep asking reception which is wearisome. Bar staff were far too slow at sunset so we gave up. Bathroom was very small. Overall not worth the premium price to stay there but worth visiting for the tasting menu."

"Ten hotel był doskonałym wyborem. Całe miejsce jest dokładnie utrzymane! Ogrody wokół hotelu i basenu miały najpiękniejsze rośliny i kwiaty. Nasz pokój był przestronny i elegancki. Śniadanie w formie bufetu było duże i wszystko było świeże i smaczne. Obiad był równie pyszny. Pracownik przy biurku był przyjazny i uważny i czuliśmy się bardzo mile widziani. Był to bardzo szybki spacer do centrum Lipari. Chcielibyśmy, żebyśmy mogli pozostać dłużej, ale następna podróż do Sycylii przedłużymy nasz pobyt. Wielkie dzięki hotelowym pracownikom, którzy tak dobrze się nami opiekowali. Nie wahajmy się polecić Hotel Aktea."

Hotel Ossidiana Stromboli Center

"The location is excellent, just a two-minute walk from the pier. The air conditioning works well, but the rooms are rather small, making it suitable for people who want to climb the volcano, stay overnight, and catch the boat the next morning. However, staying in a room with a view of the volcano from the window is a great advantage."

Hotel Tritone Lipari

"Unfortunately all expectations of staying in a nice hotel were disappointed. Not only is the Tritone hotel not at the level of a 4* superior hotel as mentioned, but I believe some things are essential for all hospitality facilities, such as cleanliness for example. Very low level of hygiene, they don't change the sheets, after 4 days I made an express request and the "new" sheets were dirty with stains (probably blood), the bed has a spring mattress which is really very uncomfortable to sleep on, at the camp bed level, not sure hotel! The shower was also very uncomfortable, there wasn't even a small shelf to place the shower gel on, you have to shower while holding shampoo and everything in your hand! The hotel does not change sheets, towels and bathroom products. The bathroom and entrance wall have always remained dirty (never been cleaned in a week) with blood stains from killed insects. There is no water in the room, not even a coffee maker or a kettle for tea or instant coffee (unacceptable for a 4*!). The reception staff is not friendly, it seems like a hassle to be at customer service, they really don't have this concept. There is no concierge desk and the reception staff is not available to provide the service that should be there! The pool is disappointing, the hydromassages didn't work, and there is no towel service, you have to go to reception and request a beach towel there (they don't even have the hotel's beach towel, never seen it). The breakfast is obscene, based only on canned things, packaged food and fruit in syrup, there is not even a choice of fresh fruit or savory foods, the service is very slow and even the à la carte food for dinner is not fresh or cooked well . The general impression is that the hotel must save money, on everything and for everyone. I would certainly have changed hotels if I had not booked through the Avventurisole agency, which proved to be absolutely not up to managing its customers and not professional nor serious even towards the hotel. We pointed out when booking that one of the guests was vegan and it was confirmed that we could assist with dietary needs, but not only was this not the case, but the agency actually boycotted its customers, attacking us verbally and also through Whatsapp. Never experienced a situation like this and what's more when you want to spend a holiday in peace and for this reason you book through a local agency to avoid any kind of problem! Speaking directly to the hotel, they wanted to give us a refund, as they claimed that the agency had not informed them. In any case, I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, too many problems which clearly are not taken into consideration and the result is a ruined holiday for those who have paid for a luxury holiday."

"After a lovely long walk we found the beautiful terrace of A pinnata. A glorious view overlooking the new marina and over to the town of Lipari. Stunning. Although lunch wasn’t being served the staff offered to make us a panino! Really impressed!"

"This is a cozy hotel located near two nice beaches and close to many good restaurants. Every member of the staff is super friendly and doing their best to make your stay memorable. They will help you with boat trips, rentals etc. and give good recommendations on where to eat. Breakfast is for Italian standards good with both sweet and savoury items and drinks and snacks at the pool/bar are reasonably priced. The garden and pool are very well kept. A daily bottle of drinking water in the room would be a nice gesture for the guests. "

"Everything is great! The views from the apartament are amazing, near to the beach, port and shops. Ariana is so helpful and kind, she was helping us all the time to find our lost wedding ring! She prepared also a small provisions for the road when we checked out before breakfast. All staff members are great and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay and vacation ☺️"

Były tam zawsze, aby odpowiedzieć i umieścić mój umysł w spokoju. Właśnie niedawno zostałem w tym zakwaterowaniu przez 6 nocy. Miejsce jest niewiarygodne!!! Jest cheerful & pretty, bardzo czysty, ma wszystko, czego potrzebujesz lub chcesz, właściciele są bardzo mili i prosiją cię, aby zadzwonić do nich, jeśli będziesz czegoś potrzebować w dowolnym momencie, możesz użyć dachu taras i jest również pralka, aby użyć, jeśli będziesz potrzebować to, piękne widoki, jest blisko dość wszystko od spaceru, i czułem się bezpieczny. Nie mam żadnych skarg i oceniłbym go ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+. Byłem nawet spotkany w porcie w dniu przyjazdu i to był niedzielny popołudnie, WOW!!!! Wspaniale! Z niecierpliwością wraca 💙 Dziękuję za wspaniały pobyt!"

"Very well-kept and clean hotel in an excellent location, 10 minutes from the port and the center reachable with a pleasant walk; it is also possible to use a free shuttle at set times, in addition to arrival and departure. Very beautiful garden with swimming pool overlooking the sea and the town. It is possible to rent beach towels at a cost of 6 euros for the entire stay. Good breakfast which is a buffet both sweet and savory although I would have liked to find some typical products. Praise to all the staff in particular to the receptionists, and above all to the breakfast girls always kind and smiling."
