Great breakfast & help desk, location is good just 5 min walk to train station, many good restaurants around the hotel.

Nestled in the heart of Lisbon, this hotel ground exudes a certain charm that aligns well with the SLH brand, and it makes a conscious effort to be environmentally friendly. The location is fantastic, placing you in the midst of the vibrant atmosphere of Lisbon - easy to walk everywhere. However, to be expected it comes with its share of noise. The breakfast was good, and breakfast staff great, attentive, and always ready to assist. Additionally, the on-site restaurant, RIB, looked promising, although unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to try it. While my stay was overall pleasant, there are areas where could improve. Firstly, the hotel room didn't didn't feel luxurious. The gym facilities featured only basic equipment (1 treadmill, 1 strider, and 1 bike) and didn't feel motivating. The front desk service was very inconsistent in terms of service levels. Worth a stay here, and I would stay again, but there is room for improvement for an SLH.

Great location, beautiful clean hotel with nice accommodation linen etc. Staff mostly delightful with excellent language skills. Quality of food at breakfast was excellent. However this is not a luxury hotel as described. We were sat so close to another ‘two person table’ that we were almost touching. This was awkward and not discreet as per luxury marketing. Had to ask multiple times for cutlery and for plates etc to be cleared at the small breakfast table or sit with them stacked to make room for eating. The woman in charge seemed to want to keep cutlery at her station rather than put it somewhere accessible. She was also carrying chairs in and out of the dining room. Stressful ! It appeared to be too small an area with not enough waitresses to cover the necessary duties. Definitely not luxury experience. Disappointed for the high price tag of 900 euros for three nights.

This is a very nice hotel with lovely decorative touches everywhere you go. The location is absolutely one of the best, directly on a very large and central square overlooking the river. The included breakfast was very good with many quality options, plus you could order individually cooked items off of a menu. The noise can be an issue, we had a room in front directly overlooking the outdoor bar and coffee area and the speaker for the music was directly under our window. However, the music always stopped at 10pm. We could also here the sliding glass door to the bathroom being opened and closed in the room next to us.

Absolutely beautiful and well-located hotel, with impeccable service and special “extras” like a welcome drink and small pastries in our room. We were upgraded via AMEX to a large family room, with separate seating area which was spacious with a good view. Despite being located on the lively Praça de Comércio, our room was quiet. Breakfast was great, with a la carte options as well as a buffet.

We arrived at 9:30am off a cruise ship. It was disappointing not to be assigned the room with bath tub as specifically requested (for medical reasons) on booking 11 months earlier. I was told repeatedly that it was “subject to availability”. This was eventually achieved by my accepting a down graded room but I was apparently not entitled to a reduced room rate! There was also a situation where I left a damp and dirty bath towel on the floor two days running assuming it would be replaced by a clean one. However, it was simply picked up for re-use. The hotel apologised for this. These issues aside, this was a very pleasant hotel in a conveniently central position for sightseeing purposes. The breakfast was truly stupendous with an extremely comprehensive selection of goodies all of good quality and with great service. The front desk were helpful apart from the bath tub debacle.

Amazing stay in the heart of Lisbon. Arrived early on an overnight flight. Rooms ready and warmly greeted. Despite not getting upgrade rooms were awesome and spacious. The location is amazing...the best possible spot for a first time Lisbon visit. My daughter loved the indoor pool we used every night before dinner. Breakfast was epic really welcome in a beautiful setting. The front desk doubles as a concierge and made an epic reservation for an Italian restaurant that was one of the best meals of our trip. One thing to not that Ubers/Bolts pick up a block from hotel. Only cabs service the street in front of the hotel.

Fantastic location. All transport (tram rail bus ferry,) easily walkable on the flat. Main sq of Lisbon. Hotel definitely 5 star in location facilities etc. However, it is the staff who are totally exceptional. Friendly, efficient, helpful, knowledgeable, always ready for a chat about your day! It is easily my hotel of choice in Lisbon.

5 star for a reason. Quiet and relaxed. We stayed for 3 nights and booked a superior room. We were on the 4th floor with a small window, excellent bathroom and air conditioning. Staff were good and all spoke English as well as other languages. We had breakfast there and even for the porridge they were able to accommodate made with water for me and milk for my husband. Their breakfast buffet was well stocked and had everything we expected as well as some local breads, pastries and deserts. Yes, baked custard and chocolate mousse were there. We tried the Rib restaurant one evening and the steak was excellent. For fish you need to go out. We tried the Taberna da Rua das Flores for the local experience which is 10 mins walk away but we used a taxi. There is a taxi rank just across the road in the square. We will use this hotel the next time we go and thoroughly recommend it.
