Location was excellent but the AC didn’t work and no mirrors were present so make sure to BYOM (bring your own mirror).

The cleaning staff and Maria at reception were wonderful. The air conditioner in the room didn’t work and they were unable to provide an alternative so the room was very stuffy and it was difficult to sleepy. The room faces a busy street so it was a bit noisy.

There was no one at the hotel and waitress nearby told us to go across the street. There was no welcome drink which was promised. The woman who checked us in was not very friendly.

Room was very small but very cute. The bathroom door looked like closet doors which was interesting and I did like that the sink was outside of the bathroom. Thank goodness for air-conditioning especially after our stay in Porto. The only downfall is no fridge- not even a tiny one but being that we were able to keep the room so cold it wasn’t too bad but we also didn’t bring anything back that required it because of that. You are definitely on a hill so no matter where you want to go you will be walking up and down on one :) it’s like 2-3 min away from The Sao Jorge castle and super close to catch the 28 tram car if you chose not to walk: 3 euros per person per ride

The room 302 is small for a double size bed. The closet style of tiny bathroom doors open out to bed leaving no room to walk on that side of bed. The bed sheets and pillow cases didn’t smell fresh so it makes you wonder if they were replaced after previous guest. Towels are pretty old, one had holes. The room did have a view of the river and cruise ships docked. Room was on 3rd floor, no elevator, the check in manager did offer to carry our luggage up so that was nice of him. Upon arrival, we were standing not knowing where to go, no sign advising to cross across the street to check in. The location is close to old Castelo São Jorge and other historic sites. Because of location, there is noise from bars but music stopped around 10:30pm-11:00pm.

Tiny little room that is upstairs without an elevator. It had everything we needed and was in a good location.

We had some trouble with getting the needed information for our late check-in but otherwise it was great. The location is really convenient for experiencing the city by foot and the staff was super friendly.

Not what I expected, we got there and the door was locked, there was a sign on the door that told us to check in across the street. The room was small and the bathroom was poorly placed. I found it way too close to the bed, literally 30 inches for the bed. If I sat on the edge of the bed, and my wife opened the doors I would have been hit. Towles looked old and tattered.
We did have an excellent view and the staff were friendly. FYI no elevator, it's a walk up. Expensive for what you get.
