Very nice place. Nice staff. Very clean. Good food and good vibes. We stayed for one night and we enjoyed it. Delicious breakfast. Relaxed surroundings. The room is wide, clean, nice toilet and very comfortable shower. Easy check in. Easy check out.

This is our second time staying here. Very convenient for the station and travel to central London. Our room was a double at the front. It’s was very nice, spotless clean, comfortable mattress and excellent bedding. Lovely bathroom with all toiletries. Just a few little negatives for me - there is no hairdryer which was a bit of a pain. The curtains were just a little bit short on width and with the Xmas lights outside are window and facing to the main street made the room lighter. These things wouldn’t stop me from staying here again- I definitely recommend it.

The Station Hotel provided everything we needed for a comfortable weekend stay. Very comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and good quality products in bathroom and bedroom. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay a success.

We stayed at The Station merely for its location. It was perfect! A 2 min walk to the station with trains going into London. Our room was lovely and spacious with a modern en suite shower. The pub downstairs is big but cozy and they serve a great breakfast. We also enjoyed a delicious roast on the Sunday. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. We can definitely recommend The Station for anybody who wants to visit London. Looking forward to our next stay!

The food was superb, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean but well overdue refurbishment. The heating was a wall mounted convector heater but it was fixed in the corner of the room so it was so difficult to see the controls so in effect it was a case on or off at the mains. The room is single glazed and I doubt there is much insulation. One could either walk into an oven or a fridge depending on how much damage one wished to do to the environment. The en-suite , the wc leaked so water pooled under the laminate flooring and oozed out when stepped on. The extractor fan that came on with the light needed to be left on because if not the room filled with cigarette smoke. Presumably somebody uses their bathroom for a crafty smoke. As a non smoker I found this particularly difficult. Overall, it seemed to me that the staff were fighting a valiant rearguard action in the face of determination not to spend much on maintenance. The energy bill must be astronomic! Whilst no doubt the place complies with fire regulations, it is a three story building with main stairwell that seems to be the only exit for the top floor, which is not ideal. In fairness I probably worry about such things more than most.
