The Z Hotel Covent Garden

Highly recommend, the best location right in the heart of Covent Garden. Room small but exceptionally clean & well equipped. Staff brilliant, we got there 2 hours early but they still allowed us to check in, hubby left his phone & they were great at posting it back for us. Nothing is too much trouble. Would 100% stay here again, book direct for a 10% discount & free cheese & wine each night. Loved our stay here & will definitely go back

I stayed for 8 nights in a queen room with a view. The staff was so friendly and helped when needed. Everything was clean and I loved the modern/contemporary style inside. The location is perfect with restaurants and shops - and even a church literally next door! I would book here again!

Such a great welcome. Such a convenient location. Such an excellent value for money offer. I was really thrilled that I got what I paid for in the center of London, walking distance from theaters, restaurants, museums, galleries. People were warm and helpful. Everything worked. All was fresh, new and smart. I would go back any time. I recommend Z Hotels wholeheartedly.

Myself and 5 friends stayed here on 1st may for one night and the hotel is brilliant. We had 3 double rooms with windows, and I must admit I was worried about the bathroom situation after reading reviews but honestly, it didn't effect our stay at all. The rooms are fairly small but all 3 rooms were spotless. and have everything you need for a short stay. The location is perfect, 2mins and you are right in the middle of Covent Garden and easy walking distance to the theatres and shops. The staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you

We stayed here for 1 night. The location is amazing right in Covent Garden. A Brazilian guy called Gui checked us in. He was super friendly and helpful, Great customer service he even helped with our luggage and explained about the cheese and wine. He also gave us tips about the local area. The rooms are basic and very small but the service was so nice this didn’t matter. Our room was very clean, We would definitely stay again.

Perfect for solo travel. Room with a view has no view. However staff are amazing. Orsi was empathetic when we expressed discomfort about lack of privacy and the desire to seek alternative dwellings for the weekend. We were reassured before booking another hotel that we would get a full refund. The Z hotels concept is very different to that of other hotels we have visited. The rooms are very small and lack privacy. This is definitely not for us but others seem entirely happy with it.

I booked a basic room, the only type that was available. We arrived early hoping to leave our luggage but were told that they would upgrade the room and we could use it immediately. It was perfect for our one night stay and under a 10-minute walk to the theatre we'd booked. The location was perfect for loo,ing around Convent Garden. We had an afternoon coffee and cake there but dined out for our dinner. We had breakfast, and this was Continental style which was more than adequate . If needed we would come here again. All the Staff were pleasant and keen to help in the hotel and for outside shopps

Lovely stay at this hotel again. We stayed in the family room with the double bunk beds. Think this is a great idea. Room is compact but we only slept in there as had a busy 2 days. Staff are really friendly and the hotel is in a great location. Very good value for money I'm sure we will return again.

Terrible. London hotels aren’t the greatest but they really should try harder than this. Despite its great location the building is totally unsuitable. Booking was difficult to start with - I wanted to extend my stay from two to three nights. I received no response from the hotel and only after telephoning was advised that they were unable to do this on the computer and I would have to book another night separately. Bizarrely we then had to check out after the first day and check back in - what a farce. We were also advised that we had been upgraded to a Queen room. I can’t begin to imagine what our original room must have looked like. After climbing five flights of stairs - there was no lift and no offer for anyone to carry our bags - we entered a hot attic room just big enough for the bed. The bathroom was a glass box in the middle of the room which was clearly designed by someone with a dark sense of humour. All in all it was a good job that we had plenty planned for the trip and didn’t need to rely on the room for any length of time.
