The stay was pleasant. The hotel staff kept in contact prior to, and after the stay. They were facilitating. The check-in was quick, smooth and easy, as was the check out. As we were just there for a night and were going out and about, we didn't ask for and interact much. The room was small but well decorated and was still equipped with essentials (TV, hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee making facility and complementary water bottles). Bed was comfy, toilets were decent and well equipped too - just the showers need looking into. Another plus was that our bedroom on 4th floor had a window and decent front view. Some reviews about windowless rooms had me confirmed.
Overall, the hotel is good and conveniently located 7 mins walk from Bayswater with Notting Hill Gate and Queensway stations also nearby, as well as shops and eatries. The room size may not be an issue for 1-2 people who dont carry much. It wasn't for us, as we just stayed a night.
I had forgotten my bag with passports and am very grateful to housekeeping who found it and those who then contacted to tell me about it. It was waiting at the reception. Hats off to the staff who showed concern.
