Super resort hotel. it is very big, clean, comfortable hotel with green area. there is swimming poll actually for families with kids. Rooms are clean, hot, light. We will return for more days to stay and of course with my children again. Byee

Disappointing stay at this place. We booked a two bedroom apartment 70m2. We arrived late in the evening and upon arrival discovered that we were placed in a room that did not match the photos and room type! We specifically wanted apartments because we have a small child and it is not convenient for us to live in a house with stairs, also husband have problems with knee and cannot use stairs. When we called the manager to find out why we were placed in a house and not in an apartment, as indicated in the reservation, we were told that this was an upgrade! Taking into account that provided accommodation type is totally different from what we have booked, hotel manager could request us to consider another type of rental! I don’t know who this is an upgrade for, but I think that their apartments look better and are closer to the main buildings and the pool, which was the main reason why this place was chosen because of kids holidays! When we asked the manager if they could move us to an apartment, he said that it was already late and they couldn’t do it, although their reception was open 24 hours a day. The holiday is ruined before it even begins!

Hey,
There are a few thing that we want to give negative feedback.
1) The house was full of silverfish bugs!!
2) The house wasn't cleaned well enough and the dishes were dirty. First thing we needed to do was to fill the dishwasher and put it on.
3) One of the upstairs chairs broke immeadly when one of us sat on it.
4) Uptairs bathrooms toilet's flushing was leaking.
5) The heating system wasn't working well. Downstairs foor was super cold. (The last day was ok) We went to complain about it but in the end nobody came to look at it.
6) For 6 people you get 2 toilet paper rolls and 3 dishwashing pills, 1 super small hand soap for 2 toalets, a tiny botle of shampoo and bodywash. If these basic things are not included you should tell it beforehand.

We like the area and surrounding environment. The food was good. However, we had difficulty with the stairs to the bedrooms and smoke from outdoors when we opened the windows. I have some health problems. We had to check out early due to the safety concern. The security officer nicely worked with us to identify problems. The resort manager generously informed us to refund the remaining night based on the unexpected experience we had. We are waiting to hear from ******* personnel after working with the resort manager.

It's a great place to be. We personally like 'Zuid Limburg / Valkenburg' more compared with Maastricht: Meaning the park is a lot of driving if you want to go there every day ( you have to travel across the city of Maastricht, but that's only about the location). Still, the Dormio Resorts self is luxurious, with a nice restaurant and a small supermarket. For families with kids, this is a very good place to be; there are a lot of playgrounds around, the staff is very friendly, and the houses are luxurious and well-made.

Mid-scale vacation park, modern and relatively new. Definitely an up-scale place as they have. Michelin star restaurant in the oranje hotel which is located on the same grounds. The whole place doesn't feel like a vacation park but more like a small village. The central square is where the restaurant, shop, reception, bike store and kidsclub are located. A small swimming pool is located just behind the square all in very close proximity. Facilities are all there and staff is friendly. The location is excellent and maastricht city center is only a short bike ride away.
