Sarpidon Apartments

10/10. Visited this hotel mid August this year for a girls holiday. This place had a great atmosphere and was very welcoming. It is in the Old town which is beautiful, the rooms were modern and clean. The staff were friendly and made us young girls feel safe. The bar and food were excellent and I recommend the restaurant just outside the apartments.

Lovely spacious apartments, spotlessly clean, and nice big balconies. Great location in Old Malia Town with lots of lovely Tavernas nearby. The owner, Katerina, was lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble even food available when we arrived late. Dora on days and Luci on afternoon/ evenings were both lovely and friendly and helped keep us fed and hydrated. The bar/ restaurant serves a wide menu of good food at reasonable prices. Pool area was kept clean and tidy and the gardens beautiful. Had a brilliant family holiday and would love to return.

Six of us arrived starving late at night but were warmly welcomed and well fed. The rooms were kept spotless during our 17 day stay. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was lovely and clean. Sun loungers were always available. Despite it being near the end of the season meals, snacks and drinks were readily available . We left feeling we had made new friends all staff being caring friendly and helpful.

Just got back from malia this morning, sarpidon thank you for another fantastic holiday. I'm a return booker as sarpidon is like a second home and all the staff are like family love them all. Nothing is to much trouble they look after everyone. So of the reviews are just ridiculous, yes there are cats there but the cat muck is cleaned up. I'm not a cat lover but they don't bother you unless you fed them. Katerina the owner is a fantastic lady she will go out of her way to accommodate all her guests, Luci, Craig, Dora n Aaron are amazing. Luci is the jewel in the sarpidon crown. Craig we all miss not seeing that lush cheeky smile of yours. I miss you all already see you in April. The apartments are kept immaculate by the domestics and the food is both affordable and delicious. Yes it's malia and young people party but there respectful I've gone in may, August, September and October and only ever once had to ask someone to keep the noise down .I'm a older lady and can party with the best but also like a bit of piece and quite sometimes. Sarpidon is set in the old town no loud music at night so it has the best of both.

Our third visit to Sarpidon has been as good as the previous two, despite having some dull and wet days. Our studio is clean and perfectly adequately equipped for our comfort. The environment is delightful and peaceful considering its location so close to Malia Old Town. Katerina (who is the owner) does all she can to ensure everyone is happy - including regularly sweeping up cat muck from the grass - and is very well supported by Dora and Luci. The food on offer is well priced and tasty. We had a problem with no hot water one evening and it was sorted by a team of plumbers next morning! Our friends came in June when we were unable to travel, and immediately decided to return this month when we could also come and we have all had a truly relaxing and restful time at Sarpidon Kings Village. We hope to return next year.

Was there in May, with my mum, had a fantastic time, quite, prefect location , so clean, and rooms perfect, so I booked a return visit, with my sister, all of the above, still stands ..... however, one thing, no greg/Craig, the happiest face n a morning, and so genuine, unfourtnaty, he wasn't there, and it shows, it was a shambles, more like faulty towers , hence only 2 stars, in May 5 stars xx

Had a lovely week in Sarpidon with my daughter. Staff very helpful and friendly, my daughter was even able to have a dip in the pool our first night at 10.30pm. This doesn`t happen in most other places. We had one of the older studios which was fine for us, as didn`t spend too much time in the room. Beds were comfortable, shower very good. Grounds kept beautifully, plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There was even a wedding reception while we were there, which definitely gives the place a great thumbs up! All in all a great holiday in a lively place , thank you to all the staff xx

This is the second time we have visited. The apartments are in a beautiful part of the old town Malia. The rooms are lovely and clean. Self catering facilities are basic so don’t expect to be able to cook a full on meal but why would you when you are so close to some amazing restaurants. The first time we came it was a lot quieter but that was in the middle of covid. This time round it was extremely busy and the clientele was a lot younger. I really do love these apartments and the only reason I’m giving them a three star are because of two things. Dora the owner - will be your best mate if you are spending money there. When she sees you leaving to go out to lunch or dinner her attitude towards you changes dramatically. If she feels this way she should not advertise as a self catering apartments. We spent 10 days there paying for three separate apartments. We drank there and had breakfast and lunch there everyday yet that didn’t seem to be enough. The second thing and my fault for probably staying on Malia - there is no noise control. Most nights I was awake from 2 am till 6 am when the kids came back from clubbing. I’ve been there and done it and have teenage kids so I’m not that bothered but she will not get involved at all in asking them to keep the noise down and there were lots of families there too so I can imagine it must have been awful for them. I think she needs to revise her details and let people know it’s pretty much a party venue. Craig and the other bar staff where fabulous.

Me and my friend stayed here for a girls holiday, and it's honestly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. The staff are so accommodating, and really looked out for us, food and cocktails were also lovely. We honestly weren't sure what to expect, but this has been one of my favourite holidays, we will definitely be back. Thanks so much for such a lovely holiday!
