"Absolute worst service ever. We had to carry all our luggage ourselves while the security guards literally ignored us. No one helped us with parking either, even though staff were standing right there. When checking out, they didn’t even bother to help with the bags left in our room and just pretended not to notice. Terrible management and useless staff. 0/10 stars!"

"The hotel has already a lot of excellent reviews but since I just got back from Mandalay I would like to write a more recent update. As Myanmar suffers currently from in my view pointless sanctions and travel warnings, a lot of hotels struggle to get by with just local travels. Therefore, it is even more impressive how much effort the staff puts into maintaining the property and its service level. The rooms are very comfortable - I admired the artwork and the craftsmanship. The bathrooms are very modern and offer a certain wellness feeling – with rose leaves filled bathtubs. Amazing. For breakfast I got Shan-Noodles as an extra treat from the management. I had just casually asked if they are available and found them the next morning – even more impressive. Very convenient also is the beer-garden-like open air restaurant right next to the hotel with an separate entry from the property. Myanmar at its best. I regret that I could not stay longer, and I will definitely be back there."

"Kilkakrotnie zatrzymałem się w tym hotelu w trakcie podróży. Wrażenia są bardzo nieprzyjemne. Pierwszego dnia przybyliśmy bardzo późno z powodu opóźnień lotów i nie zauważyliśmy, że zostaliśmy umieszczeni w pokoju znacznie gorszym niż zarezerwowaliśmy. Okazało się, że mają „różne pokoje” pod tą samą nazwą. Jakość wydanego pokoju można zobaczyć na zdjęciu. Starania hotelu, aby pobierać 20% na dodatek do każdej „pomocnej” usługi, są również zabawne. Nie polecam tego hotelu i na pewno tam więcej nie pójdę. PS jedynym plusem był szef kuchni, który gotuje wspaniałe chińskie dania (właściwie tylko one są w menu)."
