Na życzenie, stwierdzono, że ze względu na zmianę systemu domu rezerwacja nie jest dostępna. Hotel umożliwiał zapewnienie tylko 2 noclegów pokoi rezerwacyjnych. Jeden z pokoi w żadnym wypadku nie był zgodny z normą pokoi dwuosobowej. Jednak cena nie została dostosowana. Kolega z Izby starał się pozytywnie nadać naszym pobytowi, a my byliśmy wynagrodzeni za obiad. Przyjaźń personelu recepcyjnego pozostawiła się na życzenie, zwłaszcza w dniu wyjazdu. Chcielibyśmy otrzymać pomoc i wsparcie w poszukiwaniu innych zakwaterowań. Niestety, od hotelowego zarządzania nie otrzymaliśmy wymówki. Poinformowano nas, że zarządzanie hotelem zostało przebadane i musieliśmy opuścić hotel po 2 nocach rozczarowanych."

"Even from the outside, the hotel made a strangely unwelcoming and uninhabited impression, which was further reinforced by the entrance door, which dragged across the floor and was difficult to open. The reception was also unmanned, but a loudspeaker was playing American Christmas carols at a low volume. Fittingly, the entrance area and reception, as well as, as we later saw, the entire hotel, were haphazardly "decorated" with cheap Asian Christmas decorations that looked like they came from a hardware store. This reached its tragic climax in a few small electric fireplaces scattered around the reception area and dining room, and in the "Scottish" style armchairs with the potential to cause back injuries. Clearly, someone had envisioned the layout of cheap American motels from the 1980s and, unfortunately, implemented it on a low-budget scale. Relieved to have reached our somewhat overheated, also decorated with DIY store-quality "paint prints," worn but at least reasonably clean room, we quickly got ready for dinner. The restaurant was, on this particular evening and at the best of times, practically empty except for one other table. Hoping for the rustic and tasty Bohemian cuisine promised on the menu, we ordered two main courses and something that sounded quite promising under the name "Drei Brüder Höhe" (Three Brothers Heights). What a disappointment! The Bohemian goulash was comparable in consistency and taste to what was probably wet dog food; incidentally, my poor wife had a terrible case of enteritis the next day, my duck dish tasted of rancid fat, and the noodles were sticky and mealy. The beer tasted flat and stale. Into the emptiness of the restaurant, an AI-generated American Rocky Mountains Lodge video, complete with snow flurries and subdued Christmas music, blared on a continuous loop from a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. No wonder hardly anyone wanted to eat there, especially since we know Bohemian cuisine from Prague and other Czech cities as something infallibly delicious and authentic. Even the breakfast, a wild mix of German and Czech offerings, was somewhere between the taste of German discount store packaged sausage and Czech school lunches. Overall, the hotel certainly has potential, thanks to its central location in the Ore Mountains, the space available for courses, training sessions, or tour groups, and its proximity to the Czech border. But before any profit can be made, there is the glaring lack of investment in a coherent hotel concept and the corresponding staffing changes. In its current state, the hotel has something of the movie "The Shining" about it, and that, with all due respect, is certainly not what one wants in the Ore Mountains during the pre-Christmas season. What a shame about the "Three Brothers Hill"..."
