Galdana Gardens

We have been visiting Galdana Gardens frequently over the last 13 years and one of things we like the most is that it does not change. The apartments, gardens etc are just as lovely as the first time. They have had a paint refresh since we last visited in 2017, and the umbrellas around the pool area have also been replaced. We recognised some of the same staff, and the reception area is still exactly as it was. We had a lovely time, the weather for the middle of June was very good whilst we were there. We did have a couple of cloudy days, but it was still warm. The resort , Cala Galdana, is definitely getting busier over the years. The beach was very busy the whole time we were there, although this may be due to the fact the Spanish school holidays had just started. A lot of memories are held here, and we will be back one day.

We have been to Galdana Gardens several times over the years, and we had a very enjoyable and relaxing break. We were fortunate to have a top floor apartment this time and well worth going up the steps for the wonderful view of the bay. The Gardens are superb, and the guys who maintain them are brilliant 👏 Maite on reception is just superb 👌 The cleaning ladies are great 👍 Just great. I will bring up the towel reserving issue as it's a problem. 9am towels down and return at 3pm and even reserving 4 sunbeds for 2 people on either side of the pool... If you can't beat them, join them... which we didn't But hey, hoy. Great place and location.

First time visiting this resort and hotel. Couldn’t find at first due to being tucked behind shops. Basic facilities and accommodation. Recommendations that might be useful for the following: - Better furnishing - Showers instead of baths - Security guard at night - Shelving in bathroom - Less clutter in the lounge re just one coffee table - Having a information brochure - More attentive reception staff On a plus point, the cleaners work tirelessly hard as we only ever saw 3 cleaners for the 50 apartments. Pool area and gardens exceptionally clean. Sent a request via email for upper floor which was honoured. Unfortunately our patio door decided not to lock no more but seems to be a common error in the complex. Free Wi-Fi and air con good. Would come back again after hearing good recommendations (another family have been coming back here every year for 21 years). Would recommend and defiantly visit again. Cala Galdana is a very quiet resort and the beach is beautiful. Hotel in centrally located and has amenities close by.

Great location with good wifi and well maintained with regular cleaning of rooms and pool area. There’s washing-machines available too if required. And shops are on the doorstep, also handy that there are buckets and spades to borrow, ice cube trays & good air on. I wouldn’t return though, as the pool was unsafe and loud of an evening with people using it till 10 onwards at night. Most pools have fences to stop this, there is a small sign that says closes at 7 but nothing stopping use. One evening was partially bad with very young unsupervised children in the pool. All in great holiday and this didn’t ruin it but will stop us returning.

Another great stay at these apartments for the forth time. Requested a top floor apartment and the request was honoured and much appreciated. Apartments are basic but are kept very clean and the maids are very friendly. The atmosphere around these apartments is chilled and a great place to read a book by the pool or sit out on the balcony’s at night having a drink. I will be returning to these apartments again. It ticks all the boxes for me The beach is across the road which is beautiful and all restaurants and bars are nearby.

Rooms very clean staff friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely and clean great location. It’s very Very quiet felt like we had to whisper the whole time but wasn’t an issue. Would recommend and return. Was slightly annoying the reception was closed when we arrived but was easy enough to check ourselves in.

Absolutely perfect for a quiet family holiday. Apartment was clean and well equipped, very quiet at night, comfortable beds. Whole complex regularly cleaned. Beach is 5 minutes away. Shops and restaurants all a very short walk away. Staff very helpful. Will definitely return next year!

Second visit here and just as we remember, immaculate apartments, well equipped and a stones throw from the beach, ground’s beautiful, never any issues with sunloungers, lovely staff, location wise in my opinion, the best in the resort, two supermarkets very close by, plenty of restaurants and shopping on the doorstep, beach is to die for, gorgeous, lovely resort, excellent apartments and great food, highly recommended for a relaxing beach holiday, water sports and nice restaurants, entertainment at night is limited but there are a few bars if that’s what your after
