Very interesting experience, the taste one at the restaurant for the huge breakfast and the terrific dinner were astonishing!
The rooms are very bad in my opinion, with non comfortable beds, small (not big as shown in the pictures) and also very bad showers.
Sky bar/pool and garden spa, fine. The sky pool in the morning is absolutely amazing, I suggest you to try.
Unfortunately the Terme of Merano doesn't follow Covid19 rules. People without masks everywhere, also in the changing room where men and women are together in small spaces.

Domenica mattina abbiamo dovuto attendere quasi un'ora in coda e in pedi per poter fare il check out. Consiglio di predisporre un'altra persona alla reception (almeno alla Domenica mattina) per sveltire i tempi di attesa.
Inoltre al momento del check in (perfetto e veloce al venerdì) dovrebbero avvisare della possibilità fare il check out il sabato sera visto i lunghissimi tempi di attesa del check out della domenica mattina.
Per il resto tutto bene, camera, ristorante, Spa, servizi e terme tutto perfetto, pulito e funzionale.

Ottimo Hotel.
Posizione centralissima, si può visitare la città a piedi senza utilizzare la macchina.
Difronte all'hotel trovate le terme di Merano.
Colazione ottima con varia scelta e Il ristorante Olivi di qualità eccellente.
Tutto lo staff di una gentilezza sensazionale.

We loved this hotel! The easy access to the Therme Merano is the real selling point, but the ambiance and food keeps us coming back again and again. The rooftop and garden spa are nice, but can be exceptionally overcrowded, so we tend to spend our time at the Therme. Great staff, easy (and free) parking in the garage. Great location.

Convenient location for strolling the Merano promenades, attending symphony concert, Ebike rides on riverside paths, catching a bus for an amazing hike, exploring the thermal baths, shopping under the portici, and the list goes on….Service is impeccable and room extremely comfortable. The spa with rooftop infinity pool has a view that will capture you and make you never want to leave. We will be back!

The suit room is very big with two bathrooms. It’s very convenient for family stay. The hotel Spa and gym facilities are surprisingly good. The roof spa views are great. The staffs are very friendly & helpful. We booked half board, the food quality is very good and delicious. My family enjoyed our stay and we definitely want to go back again.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at the Hotel Terme Meran. Our room was quiet and spacious and the hotel staff was friendly, gracious, and welcoming. There was no need to go to the public thermal facility next door because this hotel has it all: especially the roof top, adults only, thermal infinity pool (which overlooks the town and snow capped mountains in the distance. I have read some of the negative comments, and I have to say this was just not our experience. I too was asked not to wear my swim trunks in the sauna area, and I complied since it is the hotel policy. We stayed 1/2 board and all meals were outstanding (although I wish more South Tirolean menu choices were featured), as was the wine selection. We cannot wait to return for another 4 days sometme in the future. The hotel is close to the old town with many shops and wine bars. So, all in all, we think the Hotel Terme Meran was a wonderful experience.
