Four Palms Hotel Miami Beach

Great Place to live if you want to enjoy quiet place near beach. My room was road facing though they have Beach facing room with balcony. The rooms are fine equipped with all standard amenities. Pool is decent size, they have direct access to beach. Bar located lobby level is good. It is slightly away from tourist place which is from 5th to 8th ST.

The hotel is at a great location. It’s however very tired. Was half empty. Our tap continuously dripping, roadworks outside and the aircon is humming throughout the hotel at a lulling 35db. If you just want a bed, using earplugs when sleeping and believe $2000+ for a room for a week is just fine then this hotel is great. Breakfast is a set menu thing. Ended up using Uber eats as it gave more variety and was cheaper for a family of 4. Radisson here looks like it has ran out of ambition to be great. Maintenance is of poor standard. The door to the pool has come off its hinges, a hole in the lift call plate for your kids to poke their finger in is complementary. Cleanliness in reception of the soft seating is not great, the staff visibly do not want to be there with their permanent upside down smiles. If Miami wasn’t as great as it was then the hotel would have ruined the holiday. Great transport links. An Uber from the airport to the hotel is around $70. The bus however is $2.25 per person and gets you there quicker. Download the Miami transit app for times. It’s the 150 bus and stops at 42st and the hotel is at 43st. We took the bus on the way back to the airport. To get around Miami Beach you can take the free ‘Trolley’ and Ubers are everywhere. Miami great. Hotel not so good. We did not eat at the hotel once as it looked so bad. A breakfast buffet is the least you want with all the American favourites. Go to Miami - it’s great. Don’t pick this hotel if you want a good hospitality experience.

Horrible experience. Stayed 5 nights. Leak in bathroom and room ceiling first night. Staff didn’t do anything about it. Next night the room flooded with water and hotel sent some one to look at. Could not get it fixed . Wasted many hours in the morning dealing with stuff and in the evening again to change the room. First two days of the business trip gone down the drain bcos of poor hotel stay. Those two nights were costing $640 per night . No one from staff apologized for the situation .. only shifted us to a new room. No communication what so ever. This hotel is worse hotel in entire Miami Beach. Never stay here.

The property is mediocre. It could be fabulous, but there is so much to fix: The lobby is cold, dark and smells of some terrible disinfectant. Looks unfinished and unwelcoming. Front door always had water pooling around it. The doors to pool area don’t even shut. Seems like a safety issue. The gate to the beach was difficult to get open at times. The elevator made big booming sounds which was very disconcerting. Also a dip in the floor as you come off the elevator made several people trip. The room smelled so strange - like a spray covering up mold? I had to buy an air freshener to be able stay in the room. I did see a clump of something hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom. Not sure if it was mold or dirt? The walls had been painted and the bathroom vanity. Paint slapped on, got on door jamb, side of pics hanging on walls and they painted around the thermostat but left a 3” area not painted around it. Caulk coming off by sink. Deck was nice but pigeons were problematic flying towards us and pooping on furniture. Walls thin and neighbors loud. Hotel in path of airline traffic. Between that and area construction couldn’t even hear the or enjoy the ocean from our balcony. What was good: pool was very nice, room was reasonably clean, beach beautiful, food good but pricey. People nice. Maybe our expectations of an ocean front suite were too high? For us, I’m sorry to say there were too many things wrong for us to consider a return stay.

Hotel is in a nice location and great beach access. Also big warm pool with ample seating Resort fee of $36 per night covers 2 people .. so any more than that in a room you have to pay extra to use a chair. We received a room on the 5th floor with a view of the air conditioner. We booked thru a 3rd party last minute so didn’t expect a great view. The TV didn’t work so we were then moved to the room next door, where the TV partially worked. We called valet using the QR system …waited.. and finally asked for our car and was told that system also doesn’t work. Very expensive- expected for Miami- but this hotel is not considered a great value for all the extra costs, poor condition and service

Wi-Fi working badly, I had to pay at my arrive 40 dollars a day for the using of sun deckchair and beach towels. When I complained about that I got 100 euros discount. I had to pay to my Italian phone company 300 dollars for using my net connection. The hotel manager was very unfriendly and didn’t help me at all. She should be fired
