Others are very good, is that the room does not provide free mineral water a bit too much, only 6 US dollars a bottle. Such an expensive room rate, can't you give a free bottle of mineral water per person per day? Hotels higher or lower than them are given!

It was a great staying. We usually come to this Hotel and the place is great ! Beach, Gym, everything is amazing. We came without kids and we loved it. Sid at the front desk help us and even gave us ándate check out with out charge ! I recommend this hotel as for couples and families as well

The room is on the small side, but it's okay for being right on the beach. The towels are not very clean and there are often stains that cannot be washed away. The room is equipped with beach chairs that can be taken out to the beach, and towels are also provided at the front desk. Breakfast is basically the same every day, and the hot food will be changed every day. The selection is basically enough. It's quite convenient to buy things for daily use. There is a large CVS downstairs.

Our experience was very bad. Check in took 30 minutes. We went to the beach to discover there was NO BEACH CHAIRS available. Just terrible. We had to lay on our towels in the sand.The front desk person was a trainee and did not have the correct knowledge of the rooms as she said one of our rooms had a partial beach view when in fact it had a front beach view. The other room she said had a partial view when in fact it had NO BEACH view. You had to go onto the terrace to see a sliver of water at the extreme left.

We work hard, but we also know how to relax. Our hard-working team has arrived from Chicago to this beautiful hotel in Miami and we are happy to be here. It's a great place to have a good time. The service is top notch, the music, the pool, we loved it all. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good vacation. 5 stars. We will be happy to visit you again. 6 stars for the employees who are engaged in registration and settlement of people and their rooms.

This hotel is all about the design! Every corner is picturesque and worse Instagram! However rooms are tiny. The pool is great there and everything is in cute pink. You have to walk couple of blocks to get to the beach. And couldn’t find where is the hotel’s beach beds.

Good location ….front office staff depended on who served you .. some were really friendly & others not so much. Food was good & the restaurant was nice & had friendly staff but give the breakfast a miss … It was awful. Rooftop pool was nice but no shade & no one put the umbrellas up & the bar was closed … not a staff member in sight! Shame cause it’s a nice area. Our rooms were in the old building & desperately need a Reno & facelift …. Overall it was just ok.

Excellent
VVikamoreheadThis hotel is a walking distance to the beach. Our overall experience was great, just wish we had another room for the kids! Pool was nice, it’s salt water and increases to 5’ in the middle, and the deep end is 9’. There are no balconies but 2nd and 3rd floors have a walkway to the rooms where you could sit and enjoy outdoors. There is a washer and a dryer downstairs that we used a few times for a small fee. You get a towel card per person to exchange for a pool towel. Parking in Miami is challenging. A lot of it is a paid parking. We rented a car and were parking across the street because it was cheaper. You get 2 free loungers at the beach, but if you want an umbrella, it’s $15 per day. We went on a double decker bus tour of Miami, Everglades (airboat ride was the best!), Venetian pool in Coral Gables, and Jungle Queen boat tour to an island with barbecue dinner and a Polynesian show in Fort Lauderdale. Miami architecture and vegetation are very beautiful and a must see!

RRavipas VongasemjitThe hotel is very lovely and we had a really awesome stay at this hotel. The staf is very kind, helpful and the service was great. The location is superb, very close to the beach and the convention hall nearby for the event. The hotel also provide us the lounger to use at the beach but didn't tell us about the available time (~7am-~7pm) so that we missed the chance to use it. The breakfast is also very chill and delicious.
There are some notes about this hotel. There are resort fees that cost 49$/night which was not specified in the booking that shuold be noted however, thanks to the hotel manager, they helped us with the charges. In addition to the really nice room, the floor in the bedroom is quite cold and cannot walk comfortably with bare foot.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The day we arrived (Oct. 8th) the room wasn’t properly cleaned. The countertops and stove in the kitchen had not been cleaned. As we continued to get settled into the room we hear the air conditioned come on. OMG!! The air-conditioning unit in the room was so loud it sounded like an industrial engine in a factory. It woke us up every night so needless to say we didn’t get much sleep. To add insult to injury, while trying to sleep I felt something on my head. Thinking it was a roach I jumped up and turned on the lights only to realize it was the “pleather” headboard that was peeling and falling on my head. The worst part about it all was the lack of response from the hotel staff including the Manager, Jose Pita. I immediately addressed my concerns with the front desk clerk the night we arrived and asked for another room as this room was not satisfactory at all. The receptionist proceeds to tell me that she couldn’t help me and that I would need to speak with someone in the morning. I waited until the following morning to address my concerns with the next person on duty. That young lady (Ruth) was the only pleasant person at the hotel. She stated she would have someone check out the AC unit in our room and if it couldn’t be repaired she would move us to another room. I explained we would be out the entire day and would return around 5pm that afternoon which she replied, “no problem”. As we returned from our day of exploring Miami I approached the young lady at the desk (her name was Hynah) to inform her of the conversation I had with Ruth and she proceeds to tell me that they would not be moving our room as Ruth had stated. She said “All the AC units sound like that”. When I asked to speak to the Manager she told me he wasn’t there so I asked for his email address. I sent the Manager (Jose Pita) a lengthy email detailing my experience in an effort to see if he could resolve the issues at hand for a paying customer. I never received a response from Mr. Pita. As someone who is a Corporate Exec in the hospitality industry and stays at hotels 150+ nights a year across the gulf south region this was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. If I could give this a ZERO I would. I am going to make sure I let all of my colleagues and contacts know never to stay at this hotel EVER!!

GGuest UserThis hotel was affordable and in a great location. Check in was super easy, and every staff we encounter was so kind and willing to help! Also the door keys are waterproof wrist bands which is super cool.
I only knocked stars off amenities because it should say somewhere that this hotel is 2 floors with no elevator. We were not expecting to have to lug our 50lb luggage up steep stairs and it was quite the workout. I also took stars off cleanliness because while the hotel common spaces were clean, the room bathroom left something to be desired. It just looked like it was cleaned in a super rush, and spots were missed.
Overall I’m VERY happy with my stay, but I felt like it would have been nice to know ahead of time about the elevator.

GGuest UserFriendly staff. We had a nice large room in the back which was relatively quiet. Everything was clean and well maintained. Location was terrific. My only caution is dont order a call drink from the bar without asking the price. I was surprised that a rum and tonic with a ”special” dark rum and a martini with Tanquery 10 cost $20/each. My bad for not asking beforehand. Oh, and the free shuttle to the airport is a real plus.
I recommend the Chesterfield to others.

PPaolo MBudget property in the middle of Middle Beach. From here you can travel by car to easily reach any point of the city. I would say more than enough rooms with central air conditioning (unfortunately not adjustable), wifi, refrigerator, large window and private bathroom. There is also a dated but functioning elevator. Paid parking near the property. Courteous and helpful staff. If we consider the prices that run in Miami, I would say more than satisfied.

GGuest User· The start to my cruise vacation was not PLESANT TO SAY THE LEAST To start the entrance to the hotel was not the best looking. The reception desk and surroundings looked like someone's old furniture that they were throwing out and the hotel picked up. It was old, cluttered, and dusty and just unprofessional. The sitting area at the front of the hotel reminded one of a motel instead of a hotel in the highly talked about Miami area. The check in was smooth to say the least. There is no elevator so I had to climb 2 flights of stairs with 2 large suitcases and 2 tote bags. The carpet entrance on the 2nd floor nd all the way down the 2nd floor hallway was terrible. It was so dirty and stained that I cant see why the hotel has not pulled it up. Upon entering the double queen the paint was mismatch and chipping, it smelled like cigarettes and moldy, the bathroom was dated and rusting, the sink fixtures where wobbly and rusted, the bathtub was not fit to bathe or shower in because it looked dirty and strains of hair where found inside and around it, The toilet ran consistently. The bedding boarders where dirty and stained so I refused to sleep in the sheets and covers provided. I went and bought sheets and a blanket to sleep on for my one night stay. The AC unit was hard to figure out. The WIFI and tv channels barely came in clear. I refused to walk around barefoot because the floor wasn't clean. There is no iron or ironing board and no coffee pot. The gentleman at check in did mention breakfast but I dare not with the hotel conditions as they were out of fear. This whole hotel needs to be remodeled. This is very unacceptable and deceiving to me as a customer and any who decides to stay here. I paid $200+ for a one night stay in these conditions when I should have fought it and went elsewhere. I was and still am very disappointed with this hotel and if I could have cancelled as soon as I seen the conditions I would have. SAD, TERRIBLE HOTEL EXPERIENCE IN MIAMI
