However, to me there's not much else to do there other than go to Fanjingshan. „I highly recommend staying at this hidden gem of a guesthouse in Zaisha Dong Village when visiting Fanjingshan! The location is absolutely incredible; from the terrace, you can overlook the entire Zaisha Dong Village and gaze at the Fanjingshan mountains. During the day, the mountains are shrouded in mist, and in the evening, the village lights twinkle – every photo you take will be stunning. The most delightful surprise was that the guesthouse owner is a master of artisanal bread making. Guests can enjoy a DIY bread-making experience, participating in the entire process from kneading and proofing to baking. When the bread comes out of the oven, the whole place fills with the rich aroma of wheat. The bread is soft, fluffy, and healthy – a unique experience that's hard to find elsewhere. The guesthouse environment is quiet and elegant, and it's very close to the Fanjingshan scenic area, making it convenient for getting around. The owner is warm and attentive, proactively sharing travel tips. It's perfect for both a relaxing getaway and a deep dive into a slow-paced, mountain life experience. We are European tourists traveling to visit Mount Fanjing and decided to stay in the nearby village of Zhaisha. We booked this B&B which is just as beautiful as the pictures, and the rooms are well-equipped with comfortable mattresses. Guests can also take advantage of a free laundry service, which I recommend for stays of at least two days because clothes are dried outdoors and it can be humid. The owner is very kind and passionate about his work. He prepared delicious fruit for us every day and he even proposed driving us to the Mount Fanjing gate, which is a couple of kilometers away. He recommended many activities, restaurants, and a local evening festival, which was a unique local experience. To get to the Zhaisha village we booked a Didi taxi from Tongren, which takes about an hour. Alternatively, the owner can arrange a private transfer or offer advice on public transport.

It was such a surprise find at Fanjingshan. The rooms are big with modern facilities including toilet seat sensor. The inn also has a lift for those with big luggages and don’t want to climb the stairs with them, a feature that is not in all the inns around. We have such a comfortable stay, even if it was just for a night. We took a didi to the inn in the evening and in the morning, the owner drove us to the gate of Fanjingshan to purchase the tickets. He also offered to pick us up when we are done for the day at fjs. He also helped us to engage a driver who drove us to fenghuang ancient town for a fair price based on our cab fare from Tongren to fjs. I will definitely recommend this inn which is also new, opened in March 2023. 房间干净偏大，负有摩登设施。 民宿里也有电梯，无需扛大行李上楼。 我们住得舒适也吃得好。 推荐！

W szczycie sezonu turystycznego na górę Fanjing przed godziną 10.00 ciężko jest zdobyć bilety, a trasa jest dość zapełniona, więc myśl o staniu w kolejce, żeby wejść na szczyt, jest niekomfortowa. Znalazłem ten pensjonat B&B na Xiaohongshu, zaledwie 100 metrów od górskiej bramy i od razu go zarezerwowałem. W góry naprawdę można wejść już o szóstej rano. Bardzo wygodne jest także wyjście na jedzenie. Ulica z jedzeniem znajduje się tuż za bramą górską. Układ pokoju jest również bardzo czysty i schludny, sprzęt do podgrzewania wody jest dość zaawansowany, a toaleta jest wydzielona do kąpieli i mycia, co nadaje się do wczesnego wstawania, nie przeszkadzając sobie nawzajem i umożliwiając szybkie wyjście. Ostatecznie czas zejścia z góry był wcześniejszy niż pierwotna godzina wejścia na bilet 😂 Szef również był bardzo entuzjastycznie nastawiony i osobiście dostarczał bilet na stację kolejową, kiedy wychodziliśmy.

I want to give 10 stars to this excellent and awesome hotel. Can? Firstly it is new, it is clean and check in was a breeze. it is close to East Gate mountain. The hotel staff will give you direction. They will introduce a restaurant the food is delicious and a surprise 20% discount awaits me unexpectedly which is so cool. The bed is very comfortable and the room lightning is very soothing. Shower is strong and the laundry is welcoming. Having said all that what I find most amazing are the 3 hotel receptionists Ms fu, Ms Yang and Ms Xu. Beyond my expectation these 3 young ladies performed their duties beyond my expectation. They will assist you with all means, sincerely and with the greatest attitude. Heck, Ms Fu even help to order meals for me! That you find sometime is lacking even in 5 star hotel. My 2 night stay is extended because of their kindness to make my venture at 梵净山 much more memorable. I can't ask for more. So their hospitality must be acknowledged with the greatest gratitude. Thank you, thank you, thank you ✊✊✊

Fanjingshan East Gate Scenic Area Pick-up and Drop-off Service: The owner personally picked us up and dropped us off at Fanjingshan – so thoughtful! Cleanliness: The rooms were large and very clean. Environment: The courtyard was beautiful, with dogs and turtles. Facilities: The facilities were new, and the TV was huge – perfect for watching from bed. Location: Very convenient, just a few steps from the village entrance. Thumbs up to the owners! They were incredibly welcoming ❤️ They provided us with all sorts of travel tips and even helped wash our dirty clothes 🥹 We'll definitely stay here again next time.

A hidden gem! This resort type of hotel is so rare in the area. We opted for this hotel for the gorgeous courtyard type of layout. The hotel deserves the attention and my lengthy review as the architect/ designer has such an exquisite taste which shows off in the smallest details. The select of burl wood trims with marble patterns, stylish lighting fixtures… Rooms are spacious and full of technology. Bathroom with heat floor and even ironized glass which offers instant privacy with a click of a button. This hotel alone is worth couple nights of stay where one could plan a getaway from the city life and fully immerse themselves in the hotel’s garden trails. This hotel is great for tourists who prioritize monetary value as It’s essentially a five star luxury resort for a fraction of the price. However, for those who enjoy a slower pace and a peaceful atmosphere away from the busy tourisy area it offers more. This hotel had become an integral part of my spiritual retreat escaping city and exploring the FANJING mountain area. Special thanks to the wonderful customers service team and Lin and Liping for their hospitality.

Location, location, location! It is only 200m walk away from the queue entrance of Fanjing Mountain. If you are taking the direct bus from Tongren Station / Tongren Bus Station, you shall alight at the Fanjing Mountain Tourist Information Centre and the homestay is just about 250m away. As we are foreigner and unclear of which direction to walk to, we contacted the boss to pick us up. The boss assisted with our luggage and guided us patiently on the directions. He suggested us to pay Zhaisha Dong Village a visit if time permits. The boss even drove us back and forth to as there isn't Didi service up in the mountain. The room of the homestay is spacious, clean and new. The boss and his father are super nice and enthusiastic. Fanjing Mountain is grand but has lots of bugs and mosquitoes. So do remember to bring along your insect repellent.

Bardzo podoba mi się ten pensjonat. Cały dziedziniec jest taki uroczy. Można tu zostać na dłużej, zdrzemnąć się, napić się herbaty przed oknem, posłuchać deszczu pod pawilonem i leniwie cieszyć się wolnymi dniami. W dwie minuty można wybrać się nad rzekę, aby zaczerpnąć świeżego powietrza i popatrzeć na dzieci bawiące się w wodzie. Po drugiej stronie mostu znajduje się ulica z jedzeniem, na której dostępny jest wszelkiego rodzaju wybór. Kwiaty na dziedzińcu zawsze kwitną, a bambusy są wiecznie zielone. Gospodyni jest życzliwa i bardzo entuzjastyczna. Potrafi także parzyć kawę. Kot szefa, Mi Xiaoquan, całymi dniami leżał leniwie w restauracji i gardził rozmową ze zwykłymi ludźmi, takimi jak my. To naprawdę doskonały wybór dla trzech lub pięciu przyjaciół, podróżujących z rodziną lub wracających do domu w połowie drogi w góry.

to be honest, This hotel is definitely good value for money. Compared to hotels near shops, I prefer accommodations that are some distance away from Fanjing Mountain. One of the reasons is that if you want to walk around shops or go shopping at night, you will be disturbed and forcefully sold to by many people. The hotel provides many services including transportation to the entrance of Fanjing Mountain and breakfast. This is a very thoughtful service and I am very satisfied with it. There are many restaurants near the hotel, and many locals dine there. Choosing 3D2N is definitely the first choice. Going up and down the mountain consumes a lot of energy.
