Big4 Mudgee Holiday Park

No customer service (eg. guests handed an envelope on arrival without even a hello or welcome let alone guidance around park and facilities), poor facilities (eg. taps missing handles, no facilities in camp kitchen), no management oversight (guests abandoned camp kitchen as it was overrun by a group of 20-somethings playing loud music and taking over multiple tables and chairs, guests playing movies at 10pm loud enough for a dozen nearby guests to hear clearly). Prices exorbitant even allowing for public holiday at $64 for powered site especially when taking above into account. Would not return.

Well maintained cabin, clean and cozy. The cabin has basic furnitures to make the stay comfortable. The location is accessible and in proximity to the main town. Easy check in - even after hours. I did not get to enjoy the facility as I am attending a conference somewhere else but maybe in future.

Usually Big4 parks are great but this one didn’t meet my expectations. Dirty camp kitchens and BBQ areas not cleaned once whilst we were there 6 days! And hadn’t been in a while by the state of them! Staff friendly Bathrooms dated but clean Cleaners use the same laundry as guests they really should have their own in their own space. 10pm noise curfew not upheld people laughing and talking to well after midnight! Hard when you need sleep to drive the next day but don’t get much!

The staff are friendly and very accommodating. Our van was too long for the allocated site, they were able to shuffle around and put us on another site. Amenities are exceptionally clean and easy to access. Great access to the centre of town, Kelly’s run a shuttle bus back to their pub.

The caravan park was very nice The grounds and pool areas are kept very clean and tidy Areas available for kids to play The staff were very helpful and friendly I stayed in a very comfortable cabin and had everything I needed The location was excellent I would recommend this caravan site

We always stay here and have been for years. Clean cabins. Basic but got all we need. Outside area to sit at night with glass of wine. Got new mattresses on beds which is great as they were old and soggy. Well done. Great improvement. We will be back soon.

Group of 18 of us with both cabins and caravan sites. Very helpful when making the booking for a group to be near each other. Great space for us all to meet together. Excellent amenities, clean cabins.

Be quiet in the two bedroom cabins at night, at least in ours, the wall is no better than a curtain! Every noise heard! Shhhhhhhh! Watered down detergent in our cabin but housekeeping were quick in replacing. We were there for a family reunion with a mix of campsites and a total of four cabins. It could be a good idea for an inventory of kitchen equipment as our cabin was the only one of the four that had a set of tongs. They were in high demand! Then again we had no dish drainer! Two bedrooms but only one lounge and only 2 chairs outside on the verandah. We travel quite frequently in self contained accommodation so to find not even salt and pepper provided was disappointing.

We loved Mudgee and the park was great. Nice big sites, not on top of each other. Old but very clean amenities. We would recommend this park. Good location with uninterrupted views. Mudgee has loads of things to see and do.
