"I found Wildwood Guesthouse at Mudgee to be genuine value for money luxury. In short, the product matched the description. All bookings at Wildwood offer exclusive occupancy so I had the place to myself for a bit over $200 a day with a fine country breakfast thrown in. Beautiful authentic setting, ducks a’dabbling, cockatoos screeching, kookaburras laughing and wallabies wandering. Bird life quite amazing. Accomodation boasts original artworks of note, open fire and a decent sound system. Cafes and wineries are within minutes by car or 20 minutes on a pushbike, to town. I rarely take the time to review places where I’ve stayed however Wildwood has a real feel good factor and when I compare it to other places offering ‘luxury’, it’s a standout."

"Stayed over easter, it’s a modern build in a traditional style. Very well organised with a large verandah for drinks and breakfast. Great dining room and breakfasts were superb. Great country charm and a good coffee machine. Even a pool table."

Dobry pobyt, choć jest 1.5klms poza miastem, jest na trasie rowerowej miasta, który jest dobrze warty spojrzeć. Pracownicy pomogli również zorganizować miły autobus z irlandzkiego pub Kelly's na kolację w jedną noc."

"Every year we (as a group of 8 friends from school) go away for a 4 day weekend. This year we had the privilege of all coming home to Gulgong, to stay at Owl Head Lodge. Rob was so easy to deal with via phone & email & the place is just amazing. We had the Glass Cottage, the 2 Glass Studio's East & West & the Shearers Quarters West. We were welcomed with a bottle of Red, & settled in for our stay. The rooms are so beautifully presented, the Cottage had everything you could possibly need & all within a 5 min drive to town. With such a spectacular view, you could easily waste away a day just relaxing at Owl Head. When it's Gulgong's time again, we'll absolutely be back!"

"The apartments are well located so you can easily walk to the centre of Mudgee. It is so quiet and peaceful which was great. We slept the whole night through which is rare when we stay somewhere away from home. The apartments are modern with well stocked kitchens and have everything you need for your stay. The outdoor seating and BBQ is great so you can enjoy a meal outdoors. We will definitely stay again."
