Bawa uses light and shadow as his brush, writing a Sri Lankan-style tranquility on the shores of the lagoon—the roughness of concrete embraces the swaying palm trees, the corridors are like time tunnels, leading you into a colonial dream of the last century. The guest rooms are truly a footnote to Southeast Asia: rattan, teak, and lazy-turning ceiling fans fulfill all your fantasies about south of the equator. As for cleanliness, it's merely a minor flaw; who cares before the divine artistry of Bawa's architecture? Open the window and you're greeted by the symphony of blue and green of the lagoon; egrets are frequent visitors at dawn and dusk; the scenery here heals everything. Choosing this place is essentially about engaging in a dialogue with the master."

The setting is lush - once a family coconut plantation now a boutique hotel with stunning gardens a pool and a meticulously kept 7 gorgeous roomed hotel with history and comfort. It only gets better when you have fabulous food and service. Pradep, Ishan and Kavishka looked after us beautifully and we had absolutely nothing but a brilliant time. Highly recommended."

Rezerwacje na kolację i śniadanie były dla grupy, które smakowały źle. Dodatkowe zachodnie jedzenie w restauracji jest nadal dostępne, a cena nie jest wysoka zbyt blisko morza. Czasami będą przerwy w dostawie prądu. Czasem zapalą się światła i klimatyzator wyłączy się automatycznie (prawdopodobnie napięcie jest niewystarczające). Na pierwszym piętrze hotelu znajduje się też sklep jubilerski, don. nie kupuj tego, wszystkie są biżuterią o dużej zawartości wody! Kiedy na koniec wyszedłem, dałem im napiwek od poduszki (tylko 1300 rupii)."

"We arrived at the hotel around 1:30 in the morning — exhausted, but not without having planned ahead. We had already informed the reservation team about our late check-in at the time of booking, so we expected things to be in order. They were not. When we walked into our room, it was clear that it hadn't been properly prepared. There was no toothpaste, no toothbrush, and the television was switched on, yet the remote was nowhere to be found. But it was the middle of the night, and we were running empty. So we simply took a shower and collapsed into bed, choosing to deal with it all in the morning. The next day, we headed down for breakfast, and to be fair, the food was genuinely good. However, I had to rush back to the room for a meeting, so I asked my wife to bring my meal up. She kindly spoke with the restaurant staff and requested that our selected dishes be sent to the room. To our surprise, they refused, saying they couldn't bring some of the items upstairs. My wife, already a bit worn out from the night before, was understandably upset. Frustrated, she walked away. Somehow, after all of that, they ended up bringing everything to the room anyway. We have stayed at nearly every Jetwing property across the island, and this has been, by far, the most disappointing experience we have ever had."

Overall, it was great, but unfortunately, I arrived after 11 PM and left at 8 AM, leaving me no time to explore. I should note that airport pickup is free, but if you book a pickup and wait, you'll need to pay $5, which covers the waiting time, parking, and the sign."
