Ambitious Resort

This place is run down and filthy where should I start l was there for 35 days had 1 hot shower & 4 tepid showers the rest of the time it was a trickle of cold water or NO water at all. The safes DO NOT WORK either the combo locks are broken or they have no keys for them. I don't no what was worse the no electricity on a daily basis or the mice in the rooms including my bed I had to even get my own mouse traps. When I informed the property manager he thought it was funny and chased me with the mouse that was in the trap. I had my room cleaned once only because the air conditioner froze and leaked all over my room other than that you don't get housekeeping unless you ask for it, the one time I asked for clean towels I never received any two days later I asked the security guard to bring me some thank goodness I had my own beach towels. The bedding is so old it's threadbare and if it isn't thread bear it's ripped. The pool was disgusting pump doesn't work full of alge including a dead lizard that was there for 2 days even after the staff was informed they didn't remove it. The are 3 louge chairs 2 are so ripped you can't even sit in them. The staff is less than professional when I informed them that I had had no hot water after many days they told me this is the first time they're hearing about it, even though I had informed the staff every time they walked by my room. Security is a joke if they're even is any at times the groundskeeper rode around on his bicycle at early evening because they had no security staff random people (not guests) are in and out of there at all times of the day and evening. At one point I went to the front desk to tell them about my dissatisfaction and told them I would like to leave and my money back for the last 2 weeks the front desk personnel told me I would not get it back so I was stuck there because a week before I arrived I was informed I had to pay for my room in full for my whole stay. On the last night of my friend's day the property manager Tina offered to take myself and my friend out for dinner to compensate for all of their shortcomings we at one point we're going to take ourselves out because it was an hour past the time they said we would be there just as we were leaving they arrived, the other property manager Mark drink in hand took us to two different places that had no food and finally at 11:30 p.m. we went to a place to get roadside chicken. Not the nice evening that I had planned for my friend. All I can say is when you go and pay what you pay for a holiday it should not cause you stress everyday that you're there. The highlight of my stay was on the last night when I was packing once again with no power I had to pack my candlelight & no air conditioning. The morning of my departure l had barely a trickle of COLD water to have a shower. The property was filthy and seems to be more of a run down apar**ent complex rather than a resort . The ac in the room could not be turned on . There was no tv remote and no iron each surafce from the windows to the cupboard were dusty and the one towel provided was discoloured . It absolutely was not worth 100 a night

Pool hasnt been maintained in at least a year,hot water is turned off at night.No one was in the office to check us in,some random guy took us to 2 room's. I told manager about ool being disgusting and she did not do anything,or offer us compensation for not being able to use it during our stay.I'd never say stay away from a place BUT,THIS ONE STAY AWAY FROM-IT IS DISGUSTING
