Welcome Inn Nerja Guest House Luxury Bed & Breakfast

I have thought long and hard about writing this review but I feel the recent reviews on the Welcome Inn are fanciful and not truthful. For a start it is a long way from Nerja town and we spent over €40 per day on taxis. You really need a car as the B & B (which is what it is) is situated up a very long, twisty and steep hill. There are no shops/supermarkets nearby so the owners really have a captive audience for their overpriced and limited choice of drinks and snacks. We only drink Rose wine and asked if we could store a bottle in their drinks fridge and were told no, there is no fridge in the room. There are signs up stating that no "picnics" are allowed in common areas, i.e. the pool area, so realistically you cannot bring in your own snacks. The wifi only works in the main areas, not in the bedrooms or on your balcony so you have no privacy when making calls etc. The towels and bedding will not be changed during your stay. No glasses are provided in your room. The breakfast provided was basic with no choice, you got what you were given. No water was provided, we had to ask for some. The Welcome Inn is overpriced and in an area with no facilities.

Throughout our short stay our hosts Natalia and Kiko were friendly, welcoming and helpful with their advice and recommendations. They really have got a lovely place here if you like peace and quiet coupled with home comforts. The room and bathroom were superb with our own balcony overlooking the pool, sea and mountains. Breakfasts were delicious with different home-cooked food every morning. You can walk down to the shops and restaurants nearby or even along the beach into the charming old centre of Nerja. There is a steep climb back up again but it's fine if you take it slowly - or get a taxi! This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic the spacious suite. A shower with a view over the ocean we stayed in the pink suite. Rooms are well equipped & comfortable views to die for a relaxing pool area, an honesty drinks bar with snacks. 10 minute walk to the beach, 25 minute walk to the town or less than 10 euros in a taxi to the centre of Nerja. The owners lovely with lots of local knowledge. We will return to this lovely piece of paradise.

We booked the Deluxe Junior suite (Green Suite) and it was great, large terrace, comfy bed and lovely bathroom, the hosts Natalia and Kiko are very welcoming, and provide plenty of local information. The breakfasts are different every day and really nice. Location is very good just a 10-minute walk down to the beach and couple of restaurants. The cobbled street village of Frigiliana is a short drive away and has lovely restaurants and bars. The pool is a good size and the sun terrace provides great views. Would definitely recommend,

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes into this beautiful home. The views from the reception room and our bedroom of Nerja and surrouding areas, the Mediterranean and the mountains are just amazing! We had delicious home cooked food for breakfast, served with smiles and kindness. We really felt at home here, as if we were staying with friends or family. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and will definitely return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful pool and would highly recommend this little gem to anyone.

What a beautiful place! We were welcomed by the friendly owners Kiko and Natalia. The views are amazing. It is a quiet place on a hill, about 5min drive from the centre of Nerja. We had the pink suit, very colorful room with amazing view. The breakfast prepared by Natalia was very tasteful. We loved our stay and would come back without hesitation.

Beautiful place, fantastic hosts, perfect views from pool. Every morning different breakfast, home baked cakes and Jams were so good. Defiantly stay again, highly recommend
