Hotele w Owensboro

This hotel stands where the old Executive Inn used to be. It is a fairly new hotel and overall everything was great. I did think the bathrooms need updating (only reason for the 4 rating), but everything was clean. The lady who checked us in was wonderful. It was my husband's birthday and she gave us free breakfast cards to use the next morning. We had a balcony overlooking the Ohio River and the view was fantastic. There was a dog show going on next door and there was some barking, but nothing too bad or distracting. At check-in, this wonderful lady informed us about the dog show and that some of the dogs and owners were staying at the hotel which I thought was very nice of her. She gave us a room on top floor away from dog owners. The hotel has a small restaurant on site and bar. We had breakfast there and it was okay, but nothing special. Can't comment on other items served at restaurant as we only ate breakfast. Server was nice. It was nice to sit and eat with the great view of river. There is also an area to eat outside if you prefer. There is ample parking in front. Convention center is next door. Nice riverfront walking area that goes down to a park with fountains, swings facing river, and huge play area for children. This is a wonderful area by the river. We were very impressed with how clean the area was kept. If you stay at this hotel, you definitely should do the river walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back some day.

Not bad, not bad. . .

In the past few months, I have stayed at this facility multiple times. During a very difficult family time, the management of the hotel has been very flexible and accommodating. Shout out to Lois at the front desk for her excellent service. She always greets you with a smile and a friendly comment. The facility was clean, beds comfortable and room quiet. It was nice, after very trying day, to come back to such a comfortable room. I loved the availability of a bath tub (clean). I will stay here every time that I need to be in Owensboro. Only suggestion...coke products please.

I have been coming to Owensboro for business since 2020 and always stay at this TownePlace Suites by Marriott. The staff has always been helpful with any of my needs, such as extra towels, and my basic needs during my 8-night stays every 2 weeks, but on the last 2 trips to Owensboro, the staff has gone above and beyond to help me in a personal situation. My rental car had a flat tire one morning when I was headed to the Hospital for work. After finding out that I had to be with my car when the tire change occurred by the tow company, I went to the front desk and asked for a ride to the hospital. I had sick kids to see and my work schedule is around the needs of my patients, not always flexible to follow the policies of a rental car company. The manager was called out and he offered to take me to the hospital without any hesitation. When there was no time left in the day to worry about a flat tire, day #2 came along and I was in need of a ride again another staff member was so kind to rise to the occasion. Other staff members overheard my dilemma with my flat tire and inability to work out how to get a new car or get the tire changed and even offered to have their husbands or boyfriends come to change it while I was at work! After speaking several more times with the Company representative, it was decided that I would call after my time at the hospital that day and arrange for the tire change. When I had gotten done with my patient care at 3:00 AM, the tow truck company sent someone to change the tire while I was there, per their policy, and I now had a drivable vehicle! The staff at this hotel have always been so kind, but this was definitely going above and beyond the call of duty!!
