"My husband and I went here when there was bad flooding in an RV Park we were renting and our friend came with us, our friend had his own room but we had side by side rooms and Rooms were all cleaned and very comfortable the Manager I believe he is was very nice and polite It's to bad it's not Pet Friendly or we would rent here by the week until we found a permanent place"

"My wife and I stayed at the Peaceful Pelican for two nights in June 2022, and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Theresa, the innkeeper, is a delightful person who makes an outstanding breakfast. Paula, the owner of this bayfront bed and breakfast, was very helpful in assisting my wife in contacting some distant relatives. During our stay we had the third floor suite, which accommodated us quite well. A previous reviewer mentioned the lack of televisions in this bed and breakfast; that's true, but there is so much history to see in and around Palacios that we really did not miss it. This is a great place to chill out. When we return to the Palacios area, we plan to stay at the Peaceful Pelican."
