Hotel Canoe and Suites provide excellent services, clean rooms with modern amenities, and lovely hot tubs and sauna. The hotel even goes the extra mile with free coffee and tea (coffee filters provided), and bus tickets to get to downtown Banff without fussing over parking space. The staff was professional and accommodated our needs quickly and with ease. More specifically, the hotel is designed to be wonderfully convenient while maintaining its vision. The rooms are large, and each has a porch looking into the beautiful mountains. They achieve this by structuring each level to have cascading porches. Moreover, each wing of the hotel is separated by parking, so it is extremely convenient to move luggage around. Yet, the hotel wings are all connected by a hallway on a single floor. This, plus the attention to detail when it comes to guests comfort, such as having towels and changing rooms next to the hot tubs, makes it a great hotel. Highly recommended!

The room size was small and needed better planning on interior arrangements. Same goes for the bathroom. The room could have been better lit … dark gives gloomy impression and as if there’s something being hidden (like the floor carpet which we felt needed a better cleaning). The reception service is outstanding and people there are very helpful. They also have a fitness club and spa. The parking is in the basement and is easy. They also give complimentary bus tickets for those who want to explore places on bus. We didn’t need it as we had our own car.

We had an incredible stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort in Banff. From the moment we checked in, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely eager to make our experience memorable. The property itself feels tucked away in the trees, offering peace and quiet while still being just a few minutes from downtown Banff. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a rustic mountain vibe that fit perfectly with the surroundings. I especially loved the fireplace—it made evenings feel warm and relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchenette was well-equipped, which was a nice bonus for preparing meals. The views from the resort are stunning. Waking up to the fresh mountain air and seeing the Rockies right outside my window was unforgettable. On-site amenities like the hot tub and pool added to the experience, especially after long hikes. What stood out most was the balance between comfort and nature. It felt like having a private cabin in the mountains but with all the convenience of a resort. I’d highly recommend Tunnel Mountain Resort for couples, families, or anyone wanting a true Banff escape. It’s the perfect mix of relaxation, comfort, and breathtaking scenery—I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Best priced accoms in banff during summer, very well equiped with shower gel, hot water, hair dryer, laundry, cafe for breakfast and dinner. Hostel provides free roam transit bus pass for routes 1, 2, 4, 6 and is valid for 3 days, very useful to get to town and around even lake minnewanka, two jack, johnson and cascade ponds! Comfortable room, top notch service.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and found a snow brush for us when we realized we had left ours at home. The location is perfect, a straight 10 or so minute walk downtown so you avoid the hassles of trying to find parking downtown. If walking isn't an option for you ( physical limitations, lazy holiday...or hangover) there's a bus stop right outside. There's an attached restaurant if you just want to stay in once in. Our room was large and clean with microwave fridge and coffee. Was it brand new? No, (but neither am I) and at the price, absolutely fine!

Zrobiliśmy mały pobyt w Banff z Calgary i ogólnie dobrze się bawiliśmy. Piecany basen był dużym hitem, ale tylko głowę, że nie jest naprawdę ”płynny basen”. To bardziej jak duży puste wanny. To jest niewielkie, a woda jest dość gorąca, więc dzieci nie mogły naprawdę pływać lub umieścić twarze pod wodą. Skonfiguracja jaskini jest jednak bardzo fajna, a dorośli naprawdę cieszyli się jej do relaksu. Pobyt w apartamentu z dwoma łóżkami podwójnymi, plus pokój dzienny z sofą, jadalnią i aneksem kuchennym. Byliśmy zadowoleni z układu. Jeden z nich był telewizor. Wiem, że nie idziesz do Banffa, aby siedzieć i oglądać telewizję, ale byłoby miło, jeśli uaktualniono do smart TV. Jeśli podróżujesz z dziećmi, sugeruję przynieść gniazdo ognia lub Chromecast. Nawet kabel HDMI do podłączenia laptopa będzie działać, ale upewnij się, że pobierz filmy wcześniej, ponieważ Wi-Fi w naszym obszarze był dość śladowy i dzieci wciąż traciły połączenie. Personel przyjazny, pożyteczny i wydajny. Ułatwili parking, zapewnili przejazdy autobusowe i wyjaśnili lokalne informacje bez konieczności zadawania kilku pytań. Very ideal location specially when you love the view. You can see the mountains, river and from the balcony got a chance to see a deer roaming around! Facilities are old but clean.
