„Super beautiful and well designed hotel with exceptional service. After coming back from the mountains we felt so well taken care of and could get some rest: we could wash our clothes, got super tasty snacks for free and the staff immediately attended any question or requests we had. The hotel is also perfectly located in Kanding. Super close to two main temples and only a 20 minute walk to the city center. The view from the room we had was also amazing. Highly highly recommend this hotel when visiting Kanding - and we hope to come back again! Thank you again!”

Otherwise, we really loved the view and our stay.”

„The place is very close to the bus station so it is convenient. It is by the river that flows through the city. The rooms are clean, modern, and efficient. The owner couple are so friendly and always do their best for their clients. I went on a day tour with the owner and a couple other travelers. He gave us plenty of time to walk around, no time pressure. The views are magnificent on the tour. A very good place to stay.”

„Staff was friendly, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had limited choices, nevertheless I enjoyed it. The hotel has hot springs. They are natural, however heated, not natural temperature. I think I overpaid (180rmb) for a driver to take me to Mugecuo, which is only about 12 km. My 4 hour car ride back to Chengdu was only 150 rmb. The hotel is about 7km from the downtown kangding area. Overall, I enjoyed it peaceful, quiet place. It’s a bit remote, ideal for people who want to get away from people and crowds.”

PPockyBackpackThis hotel is located off the main road, requiring a short drive on a dirt path up a hill. On clear days, you can enjoy a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. All the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Since I was traveling alone, the hotel thoughtfully adjusted the hotpot portion to suit one person — which I really appreciated — and it was absolutely delicious. Every room offers a view of the snowy mountains. The in-room amenities are of high quality, the room is cozy and comfortably warm, and the size is just right — not too big or small. My favorite part, though, was the hotel’s common area, especially during sunset when the snow mountains turn red. The staff even invited me to step outside and take photos, which was so sweet of them. The next morning, I had to leave early, but breakfast normally starts late. Still, the staff kindly prepared an early breakfast just for me. Overall, the service mindset here is truly impressive, and the hotel’s common area is stunning — a paradise for photography lovers, with countless beautiful spots for pictures.

GGośćWe had an excellent stay here. The host and staff are super kind and caring. My partner was suffering from the altitude when we arrived and they immediately set us up with an oxygen concentrator. He felt better almost immediately. We are thankful they had one! They kept checking in on our health throughout our entire stay. We had a beautiful big room on the fourth floor with views of Mt. Yala and life around the river. Loved the in floor heating. Even if you don't get a room on the 4th floor, there is a sitting area up with the view. The hotel is close to the main street, 10 minute walk to Tagong Monastery, 20 minute walk to the study monastery and 5 minute walk to the trail which leads up over the grasslands to Ani Gompa and Muya Dasi. We can't thank the host and staff enough - they made a delicious hotpot on our first night, looked after us everyday and found us a ride onto Danba. They and we managed the English translation apps enough that we could work through the language barrier. Thank you!

GGośćThis place wasn't facing the main road, so it was very quiet. The room and the view from the room were absolutely beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos. There were restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. We couldn't quite capture the view of the snow mountains during the sunset from our room with our cheap phones, but the actual view was really pretty. There was floor heating and an electric blanket as well. Hot water was plentiful and with good pressure. We had a rental car and there were plenty of parking spaces. It was pretty unbelievable that the place was at this price. It was the best place that we've stayed in our 2-week trip by far and also the most affordable. The owner of the place is a local ******* who used to live in ********** and speaks fluent English. Unfortunately, we had to leave early to return our rental car and catch our flight, otherwise we would have stayed longer.

GGośćWe happen to visit Dartsedo (or commonly know as Kanding) in October, at the time of a big national holiday. So, the town was full of visitors from the mainland. Our original hotel has rejected our booking and this hostel was one of the very few options left. We booked 3 rooms in total. There are lots of good things that could be said about this hostel. The owner and the staff ladies were very nice and super helpful. They had accepted to wash our bag of travel clothes in the facilities free of charge, which was very kind. The rooms were what could be expected from this type of accommodation and for booking last minute. All was much nicely arranged that what we have expected for a hostel and the bedding were very clean .The common areas where also kept clean at all time. The shower area are on the small side, but all had hot water, towels, overall not great as maintenance but clean and functional. Our room was probably the only one that was facing a brick wall not a street, but we were OK with it. Anyone visiting this area from the West, should be ready to use squat toilets, which are common in this part of the world. Our room was probably the only one equipped with it. The bed had some kind of board instead of a mattress, but still was comfortable to sleep. The location was great. Obviously if you are a Westerner, you shouldn't expect a peaceful place , but this hostel is on the main street leading to the ”Love square”, with many nice places to eat and buy what you need. And the walk up to the central town is short and pleasant. The only recommendation we can make is to put some mosquitos repellent, Our room was for some reason had the most and that made it difficult to sleep.. On the downside, but we know it's a common problem for the town- there is no parking for the hostel and in general very difficult to find a parking place in this town. And the hostel is on the 3rd floor, so you should be prepared to take your luggage on the stairs.

GGośćI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive. So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city. The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones. I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information. One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C! The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

GGuest UserAs soon as I stepped into this hotel in Kangding, I felt warm. The room is warmly decorated and has sufficient heating, which drives away the chill of the plateau. The night view outside the window is charming, and you can see the brilliant lights of Kangding City. The hotel also provides considerate measures to deal with altitude sickness, and the service is excellent. There are many dining options nearby and travel is convenient.
