„I have no complaints about the hotel. We liked the interruption at your place. Very friendly, kind staff. The rooms are clean and everything is functional. You even asked during the cleaning of the room, usually in other hotels the cleaning comes by itself and knocks on the door, while the guests sleep. Your hotel respects the rest of guests and it's nice! Lunch tea and other bonuses for guests are also pleasant. We put the fruit in the room and changed the refrigerator on time. There were queues in the canteen in the morning, but now there are holidays and there are a lot of people in the hotel, it's understandable. There is a lot of food in the dining room, in most cases it is Chinese, but foreigners can also find something to eat for themselves. Thank you for your care and good rest🙏🏻💞”

„Bardzo dobry hotel, wspaniałe śniadanie i personel restauracji bardzo pomocny z własnej inicjatywy. Trochę mówiono po angielsku, i to pomimo faktu, że byłem prawdopodobnie pierwszym gościem w Wielkiej Brytanii od czasu zniesienia ograniczeń związanych z pandemią. „Room is relatively big. Got the city view twin bed room. The bed is bigger than a single bed, probably twin sized bed. The room is in the old wing but at least it doesnt feel old and surprisingly quite a pleasant stay. Valley wing is the newer side. This hotel seems to be a popular conference hotel. In my 4-5 days staying there, there was always a conference held in the hotel. The hotel has larger taxis which can take 5-6pax. The taxi goes by meter so was reasonable. The hotel is very conveniently located, next to MixC shopping mall. There are many restaurants in the shopping mall where we had dinner. There were also many bakeries and a supermarket in the mall. There is also the usual mc donalds, starbucks and luckin coffee. There was also a new songmont shop that recently opened in the mall. For breakfast, there is a lane behind the hotel where we tried the dumplings and noodles for breakfast/brunch. Good price, around 100yuan for 5 pax. Cheap and good.”

Breakfast was excellent with a good mix of Western options and the staff were friendly, helpful and genuinely courteous throughout my stay. Special thanks to Nora, who checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory and was incredibly helpful from start to finish. This hotel truly delivers luxury and a premium experience. „This was my second stay at the Holiday Inn, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. I initially booked a premier room, but to my surprise, I was upgraded to a lovely suite at check-in, which made my stay even more special. I was also offered a welcome drink of my choice - tea, coffee, a soft beverage, or even an alcoholic drink - which was a very nice touch. Susie at reception was especially helpful. She explained everything clearly in excellent English and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be booking here again. Highly recommend!”

„The hotel room was quite large; even two people would have been very comfortable. The girls who checked me in at reception were very, very friendly. I only used the hotel's airport shuttle service, which was fine, but I couldn't use the airport pickup service; they didn't respond on time. My Chinese isn't very good at calling the hotel directly and making requests. So I would recommend that they be more careful in that regard. (they replied after I had left😆) Overall, the cleanliness was very good. The only issue is that they don't seem to clean the glass wall in the bathroom very often; I hadn't even used it yet and it was already dirty. And just one recommendation: the tea they left in the room was delicious, and I learned that in Chinese culture they don't use sugar in tea. But I'm not Chinese, and I do need something sweet 😁😅😆 They could add a small cookie or something sweet for those of us who need something sweet.”

„Stayed at hotel 3x times over 2 weeks. Room # 3609 has obvious water seepage issue on the bedroom wall, from the shower water most likely, so do expect some wear and tear, seeing hotel has been around for couple of years already .. Also wish the main toilet was better thought out, with counter space and also space to hang used towels, etc.. Other than that, we are truly happy with hardworking front desk and house-keeping staff who took very good care of us and make the shortfall in the hardware aspect more bearable.”

GGośćI would like to give a round of applause to this great hotel located next to airport as it showed good convenience for anyone who wishes to transit or stay for a vacation at Qingdao, China. Also, i would like to give a warm thank you to the receptionist at the time when I arrived at the hotel. Her name is “Even”, and she was ever so polite, kind and always smiling which made feel so welcome. She made my experience at the hotel very satisfying as she was very informative about the facilities and services the hotel had to offer its guests. I believe that wonderful staff deserves every credit for treating me like one of China’s own people. P.S. thank you so much Grand Barony Hotel for taking good care of me during my stay!

It’s also great value for the price. Everyone on the staff was so kind, but a special shoutout goes to the housekeeping team. They were so attentive and even left us a sweet little note in our room, which was such a lovely touch! We’re already looking forward to staying here again on our next trip to Qingdao.

GGośćDefinitely not a 5 star hotel they claim to be on Trip.com. The first room we were checked-in had a broken window that couldn’t be opened and the reception didn’t know about it, although the window was closed with a tape and they should have known that this room had a problem. There were not many guests in the hotel and plenty of rooms to be offered. In the next room we found out that the show was out of hot water. The problem was with the central supply system and instead of repairing it themselves, the hotel engineer was coming to our room claiming that we should discharge water for 5-10 minutes before hot water starts coming out. This kept going for almost an hour, we were tired and wanted to sleep because it was late evening. The problem didn’t require our assistance because the problem was with the whole hot water supply system, not with our exact room. Also, they brought us a small heater to the room which I was surprised about, but then I understood that it was because the air-conditioner which had a heater mode, didn’t work well. I doubt that the hotel would have enough heaters for all rooms in case they had more guests. Without the heater it was quite cold in the room. Next morning the house keeper came at 9-30 am!!!Which is insane. We were sleeping. I’ve never encountered a hotel at which the house keeper came that early and disturbed the guests. Finally when leaving the hotel, we wanted to take those one-time use sleepers with us to use during the flight and found out to our surprise, that for 4 days we were living in the hotel sleepers were not changed even once. I called the reception, it was early morning (like 6-30 am) and they told me that the house keeper will bring us the sleepers when she comes to work. I told that we were leaving already and the reception promised to bring the sleepers asap. 10 minutes later nobody came and we went to check-out. At the check-out I asked for the sleepers again and told the receptionist that the taxi has almost arrived, so that she could bring us the sleepers first and then proceed with the check-out. She didn’t listen to me, still first processed the check-out and only after it went for the sleepers. So it basically took me half an hour and my nerves to get the sleepers that were supposed to be in my room from the very beginning. The general manager talked to us after the case with the hot water and the house keeper coming early in the morning. He was very polite, but this doesn’t eliminate the fact that basic services in this hotel leave much to be desired. On the plus side, very comfortable beds and clean spacious room.

Also there is no hooks in the bathroom - all this (bleach and hooks) will cost no more that 50 - 100 yuan to the hotel and 2-3 hours of work, but the impression and reviews will be more higher. In generally recommended!

This time, for two days, I tried the double-bed room with a table and a large window, and it is really excellent for the price. The room is extremely clean and has all the basic amenities such as a shower, dental kit, and towels. One small difference is that instead of traditional cloth towels, they provide disposable paper-fiber towels. The room is also much more spacious than the single room, even though the price increase is very small. I paid about 55 RMB for the smaller room, while this room cost around 63–64 RMB, but the size is almost double. The room has a very large window facing the road in front of the hotel. I expected it to be noisy, but surprisingly it was not. There are many power outlets and switchboards, which makes it convenient for charging phones or laptops. The room also has a large TV, along with a table and chair where you can comfortably sit and work. The staff, as I mentioned earlier, are extremely friendly. By the end of my stay, they almost felt like friends. If you order food or buy items from e-commerce platforms like Jingdong or Taobao, the staff will collect the packages and store them safely on the first floor. Sometimes the delivery person will even bring the order directly to your room. I stayed on the fourth floor, and the room was very well maintained and spotless. It also includes a hairdryer and hangers. The room I booked had two beds, so if you are traveling with a colleague for business, this is a great option. The location is not extremely central, but it is still convenient. The nearest subway station is about a 10–15 minute walk, which was not a problem for me. There are also several convenience stores nearby where you can quickly buy snacks or basic items. Overall, the room is very well maintained, extremely clean, and free of dust.
