„⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing stay – highly recommended! I stayed at this hotel and had an excellent experience. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly attentive — they helped me with all my questions, drove me to the tourist center and then brought me back. They also arranged transportation back to Shangrao train station for me at a much more affordable price than other options I had found. The rooms are spotlessly clean, new, and very comfortable. As described, it is truly a boutique hotel, with thoughtful details and a cozy atmosphere throughout the stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again. A great choice if you’re looking for comfort, great service, and peace during your trip.”

„An old established hotel in Shangrao! There was a 24-hour welcome tea service next to the front desk when I checked in, and the staff were warm and friendly. The room hygiene was impeccable, spotless and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The handwritten welcome letter was a particularly thoughtful touch, really showing the owner's sincerity. Little details were considered everywhere, creating a strong sense of home and human warmth. A perfect stay experience!”

„Słyszałem od miejscowych, że to drugi najlepszy nocleg, po Wangxian Valley Xiansu (Cliff Hotel). Zarezerwowałem apartament na najwyższym piętrze z widokiem na gwiazdy i ogólnie rzecz biorąc, wrażenia były całkiem dobre. GGośćWe had an amazing stay at this homestay ! The location is strategic, situated right along the main road of the nearest village to Wangxian Valley Scenic Park. Despite being in a busy area with many shops nearby, the homestay is surprisingly quiet, thanks to it good soundproofing, ensuring us a peaceful rest. The room was exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean and well-maintained. What truly set this homestay apart was the exceptional hospitality of the lady boss and her brother. From the moment we made our booking, she was incredibly responsive on WeChat, answering all our questions and even arranging a transfer from the high-speed rail station to the homestay. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade, allowing us to stay in side-by-side rooms for the convenience of taking care of my elderly father. We arrived quite late, around 9 PM, yet we were warmly welcomed with a thoughtful gift set, including a packet of milk and some bread—such a kind gesture from the owner. During our stay, we were also invited to join the local Chap Goh Mei celebration, which was a fantastic cultural experience for us. Breakfast was provided through vouchers, allowing us to try delicious meals from different nearby shops on both mornings. Another highlight was the free shuttle service to Wangxian Valley. The lady boss’s brother was incredibly prompt—whenever we called, he arrived within minutes. Upon checkout, we received a beautiful set of bowls as a farewell gift, which was a lovely touch. We were from Malaysia. This was our first time traveling free and easy in China, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The warmth and generosity of the hosts made our trip truly memorable. By the way, the lady boss also able to communicate in English. I believe this well make communication easy for those English speakers. AAnonimowy użytkownikI want to start by sincerely thanking the uncle who works at this homestay for all his hospitality and attention. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were very well treated and taken care of. I will definitely remember our stay in Wangxian and hopefully come back to see the uncle. My partner and I visited from Canada and I speak very little mandarin. Despite this, the uncle and the other residents of the neighborhood were very patient and helpful when communicating. The check-in process was electronic. You scan the uncle’s QR code with your WeChat and register your information. For foreigners, it would be helpful to have WeChat running before arriving. The check-in was in Chinese, but I just screenshot the page and translated it and had no problems. We stayed in room 301, it was a double room and true to the pictures. The cleanliness was good and it was quite confortable. There are large windows for lots of sun. The water is hot and the AC is functional, no complaints. The homestay is very well located about a 10 minute drive from the Wangxian scenic area, and roughly an hour from Shangrao station. In the vicinity, there are many restaurants and a little supermarket. Since it was quiet the night we checked-in, the uncle took us to visit the town nearby and gave us lots of recommendations for our visit such as going to the scenic area in the afternoon, and staying until the lights come on to see the night view. We had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant as recommended by the uncle. The food was home-cooked and the quantities were generous. Although we ate at the neighbour’s, the uncle also has some food and beverages you can buy, as well as some tables where you can eat. Later in the evening, the uncle and neighbours invited us to sit with them and we shared some great moments together. The next morning, the uncle had prepared a very typical Chinese breakfast for us to try. We then went up to the scenic area around midday and came back around 7pm. When we came back, we had dinner in the neighbour’s restaurant again and shared some more moments with them. The uncle and neighbours helped us coordinate transportation to our next location and gave us recommendations to better enjoy our next destination which we followed and it turned out great thanks to them. The community is what makes this place charming and I recommend it to anyone.

WWHUHello. We are a couple from Holland and are spending our third week of our vacation in China in Huangling cun. We planned to only spend one night in Huangling but we were enjoying ourselves here so much that we extended our stay with an extra night. The B&B is located at the top of the mountain and our room at the B&B was also on the topfloor. The hallways on each floor and the room itself are tastefully decorated with an eye for detail. The room is fully equipped. All is looking tidy and sparkling clean. The door next gives access to a roof terrace with laundry facilities and wiring for hanging clothes to dry. The boss (Mme Zhan) gave us a warm welcome and came down the mountain to pick us up where the taxi driver could not go any further up. Although we booked the Tatami room she suggested us to move into the room next door. That one comes with a balcony. We gladly accepted her advice. After having refreshed ourselves in the room she showed us the footpath up the mountain that leads to the entrance. She told us to contact her via Wechat at the end of the evening so that she could bring us back to the hotel again. The next morning she brought us down the mountain so that we could have breakfast near the bus station. from there we could easily take the bus to another beautiful old village in the neighbourhood, Likeng. The boss dropped us off and wished us a good day. We did not know that while we were eating the went back up to the B&B and came down again to bring us an umbrella to provide shelter from rain or sunshine. We did not request this. We very much appreciated this kind and polite gesture. We had a great time in Huangling village on our first day. Our second day was in Likeng village. The atmosphere in Likeng was very relaxing. It felt really authentic and the people here are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you boss and thank you all fine people in Huangling village and Likeng village. We had the time of our lives in your beautiful villages 😍

GGośćWe had the best time in this stay, the lady was so kind to us that we feel like we had no way to give back the attention and care she provide for us during our stay. The location of this house is perfect, providing amazing views of the city river and fields around. We had breakfast and lunch which the aunt cooked beautifully and was some of the best food we had in China so far! The room was very artsy, comfortable with nice linens and towels, good water temperature and pressure, and you could see there was a lot of attention to detail. We had a problem with our taxi driver not being able to receive our payment due to international card restrictions and the lady was so kind to help us without asking for anything in return, we will never forget. Also she spoke a little English which is very helpful!! We hope to come again and stay for longer. 💗🙏

GGośćThe owner is very nice. We communicated via Wechat and the translation in the app helps the communication went through perfectly. The location is very nice as it's only 5 minutes drive to Wangxiangu and the owner was ready to drop us off and take us back just by texting him. We stay on the second floor. The amenities there are all we need. I like that there is a heater in the bathroom so that we don't get too cold while showering. The owner's mom took care of our breakfast. She cooked yummy dishes for us including hot vegan noodle soup which helps warming our body in a cold morning. However, the bathroom's sink is clogged with something that looks like leftover or vomit...so we tried not to use the sink. The worst thing of our stay is the transportation between Shangrao Station to the hostel. The owner offered us a pick-up and drop-off services which we will get a lower rate from the regular taxi service, so we accepted it. He didn't mention that it's going to be a shared ride until we found out ourselves that we needed to take a ride with 4 more people in the van, however, we're ok with that because of an affordable rate. Then we found it the worst riding experience in our life. As Shangrao is a small city with 2 lanes all along, the driver had always been trying to get ahead of the cars in the front and hitting his horn throughout 1 hour to the hostel which almost caused the accident. I was praying all the way. Nevertheless, on our trip back to Shangrao Station, the same driver took us there with his same style of driving and eventually an accident occurred! Our car was hit by another and we almost missed our train to another city. We almost had no doubt why we get hit Lol. The good thing is the driver called another car(with full of passengers) to pick up up to the station. We like the hostel but sadly we don't think we will ever go back to this city again...such a lift-time experience we got.

GGośćDisappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest. The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️) There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby. The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it. One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way. Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

GGGtravelPokój był ładny i czysty. Pobyt był bardzo komfortowy. Właściciel oferował darmowe przejazdy do i z malowniczego regionu Wangxiangu, kiedy tylko zajdzie taka potrzeba, więc było to bardzo wygodne. Lokalizacja jest również idealna, w pobliżu jest kilka restauracji. Naprawdę podobał mi się pobyt!
