„The guesthouse's location is decent, situated halfway up the mountain. It's relatively convenient if you're driving, but don't consider it if you don't have a car, as it's a few kilometers from the scenic area. The scenery is quite nice, and the guesthouse owner is very friendly, but frankly, it's not worth making a special trip during holidays. The guesthouse prices are outrageous; a place that would normally cost 200 yuan can jump to three figures during holidays. The key issue is that the scenic area itself is just average, with nothing much to see, and I feel there's some misleading advertising online. Furthermore, the rooms have very poor soundproofing, and basic amenities like air conditioning and showers are inadequate. In short, if you live nearby, it's okay to drive there on weekends to enjoy the mountain air, but it's not worth making a special trip.”

„Excellent facilities, luxurious and clean room with great view of the rice terraces from balcony. Air con was powerful enough to keep room cool in day time and warm and snug at night. All the staff were generous, kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Barbecue meat dinner outside in camp chairs was delicious and fun. Bonfire at night in the front courtyard. The camp looks dreamy at night time with lights on, peaceful with only sound you can hear is water trickling on the rice terraces and frogs in them croaking. Entrance to Jiuqu Yunhuan rice terrace scenic area is less than 5mins walk. Worth getting up early to see the sun rise as the terraces look the best in the morning as the light simmers off the water (in Spring). Thanks to the boss who helped us with our luggage and gave a lift to the cable car station on our way down. Would definitely stay again!”

„本來還擔心民宿的衞生，老闆夫婦把房子收拾得很非常乾淨，連有潔癖的老公也表示滿意。老闆娘燒的菜也非常好吃，自家養的雞非常鮮嫩，記得一定要讓老闆娘買水庫的魚吃，絕對值得一試，毫無泥腥味兒，燒了魚頭湯鮮美極了。七星墩相對九曲雲環人少很對，民宿的位置離七星墩不遠，又非常安靜，值得推薦。但是房間其實並沒有平台上的照片看起來那麼大，廣角拉太大了！”

GGośćIf you're looking for a place with charm, comfort, and amazing food, look no further! The rooms are newly renovated and super clean. I slept like a log in the big, comfy bed. The owner is the friendliest person and went out of their way to help us. And the FOOD! 😋 It's so tasty because they have their own livestock and cook with fresh vegetables and meat. You can really taste the difference. 10/10, will absolutely be staying here again!”

WWHUWe are a couple from the Netherlands and spent 3 nights at this family run B&B.  We were friendly welcomed by granny. Since we were the first and only guests to arrive that day we could pick any room. We chose one room with 2 large beds at the top floor, close to a balcony with laundry basin and drying lines.  While waiting for her daughter Madam Ye and her grandson to come home we were treated homemade tea. Granny also led us through the village to find us a nice little restaurant for lunch.  The B&B is conveniently located in the middle of the village, in a block right accross the main square. On the road accross the square you can find small grocery shops and a few restaurants serving delicious local specialties.  Speaking about local specialties... Madam Ye prepares a delicious Chinese breakfast offering a variety of homemade dishes that go very well with the rice porridge and mantou. Fresh cooked eggs, fermented cucumber and turnip, various kinds of bamboo shoots, deep fried ricecake slices and some special glutinous rice snack called qingtun.  Madam Ye and her son helped us to arrange transport and assisted us with purchasing tickets to the Yunhe Terraces. We were picked up by a driver at 4:30 in the morning so that we could see the sunrise in time. Worried about us not having had breakfast that early, madam Ye got up at 3 am to make us a rich and filling breakfast. Such a kind, polite and hospitable gesture. We felt so bad we hardly had eaten any because we could not have the driver wait for so long. Madam Ye said we were fortunate we picked the correct date for seeing the sunrise above Yunhe Titian. We had an almost clear blue sky that morning. The next day it started raining.... But on that rainy day we were lucky again to witness a local festivity that only takes place once in every 5 or 6 years, where all villagers worship the gods of fortune.  The fireworks, the marching and music we witnessed it all. Indeed we felt lucky 😁 After our last dinner at a local restaurant just around the corner we came back at the B&B and agreed with Madam Ye what time we would have breakfast and what time her son would drive us to the bus station. She again mentioned how lucky we were because that evening a Chinese opera was performing at the local village hall. Together we walked up there and to enjoy some wonderful Chinese opera before walking back to the B&B again after having spent another joyful day at Chongtou village. Please visit this lovely little village in Yunhe County and stay in this lovely little family B&B. The village Chongtou, the Yunhe terraces and this B&B, our lovely little home there, will stay in our memories forever....

GGośćWe stayed for just one night for a sunrise over the rice terrace. From the moment we arrived - all the staff made us feel extremely welcomed. The butler took our very heavy luggage up all the stairs to the room we were staying in. Room service is via WeChat and is super convenient. Also, make sure you add the staff in WeChat before you checkin so they can be ready to carry your luggage up. In my opinion the selling point of this homestay is its view - you can literally see the sunrise outside of your room without having to go to the public view points. However if you are a photographer and wanting to take proper photos I suggest you go to the viewpoints. In saying that, this place is only a few meters from one of the most popular view points. Facilities in the room are mostly smart tech and very cool to use! If I come back to Yunhai rice Terrace, I will definitely come back here to airark.

GGośćThe people here were amazing. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was great. The owner took me to the cable car, bought me a cheaper ticket and showed me around. Very easy and delightful experience. The home stay itself was also very nice and clean.

GGośćVery nice hostel with very friendly host. The room was very large and clean, with everything you need. Breakfast in the morning is very good and filling. The hostel is less than 10min walk from the tourist centre and there is a direct shuttle to and from Lishui station (takes about 1h) which made it very convenient. From the tourist centre there is also a bus that takes you to the main sights and back. The host helpfully explained what route to take including how to walk up through the village to the viewing platform instead of taking the cable car. Even though the tourist centre is very close, the host took me to and from there each time. I also appreciated his willingness to share his stories with me, I enjoyed learning more about his businesses and background.

AAnonimowy użytkownikThis is what they call in Chinese a ”minsu” (民俗) which is basically a family run B&B or home stay. It's location is good, located at the top of Baiyingu village. It's also about a 60 minute hike (1.8km) to a great scenic spot called Qixingdun. You can pay more money if you want to stay in one of the top room floors with better views of the village below. One thing that can be improved is the small bathrooms which can be designed better. Also, it can get loud if families are staying because the kids can scream.

The scenery is just incredible, I think it’s impossible to find a better location if you come to Yunhe terrace fields. This homestay is very cozy and the owner is a really nice lady who speaks a little English! Also food and coffee in the restaurant are pretty good. And, of course, we adored 3 cute cats living there!

SSalmon0013The room was overpriced at 65 USD for a simple stay, though this could be due to the Chinese holidays and high demand. Realistically, such a place shouldn’t cost more than 20 USD. On the positive side, the hotel is newly renovated. The room looks good, the toilets are new (though not fully functional), and the showers were fine. However, I had to request towels, as they weren’t provided by default. Breakfast was decent, and the staff are clearly trying their best to be helpful and provide good service. That said, the place overall needs better maintenance, and the elevator should definitely be upgraded—it currently stops at every floor, which is inconvenient.

CColine.SI wouldn't recommend for foreigners who doesn't speak chinese. I think that's why the owners never even talked to me... It's my taxi driver that showed me my room. I was a bit disappointed by the location : the hotel is really close to telecabins to go see the terraces but unfortunately those ones were not opened before sunrise, so great location if you don't want the sunrise view but wouldn't recommend otherwise... The room is clean but the bed a bit hard.
